How much control do you really have?
Some plans are made; some are broken; and some are out of our control. Just as brief and fleeting as the plans that we make, so are we. "You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes" (James 4:14). When we remain grateful and humble, in all that we do, and do not "boast in [our] arrogant schemes", (4:16), then, "if it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that" (4:15); for He is the root of every "good and perfect gift" (1:17). #AFullProofPlan

How hesitant are you to ask for help?
No matter the need, if you need help, you need it and should not think twice about asking. So many people, myself included, do not ask for help. Fortunately, I am here to tell you that it is ok to ask for help, especially when you need it. I was reminded, by one heart beat, that when my heart clinically broke, to "not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present [my] requests to God" (Philippians 4:6). So, until you ask, "you do not have because you do not ask God" (James 4:2). Might you ask before you can't. #ItsOK & #NeverTooProud

Where do you go to seek help?
If you chose to seek help, He is the place to go. He is the one who watches over you and your life (see Psalm 121:3, 5, 7-8) and knows what you need and when you need it. So, whatever help you seek, may it be to seek Him for he will always be there to take care of you. For your "help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth" (121:2). #YourHelper & #Guardian

How much do you trust Him so that you can live by faith and not by sight?
Fear of the unknown will never allow you to live by faith. What will allow you to do so is by trusting in Him and praying the prayer "your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Your sight is your faith in Him and his in you. Might you consider taking a leap of faith, by trusting in Him, for this is the surest way of knowing where you are going. #LiveFaithfully

What causes you to be obedient?
A better life...happiness, hope, peace, friendship, family...
It takes a great deal of obedience, no short cuts, to have anything. Such obedience breathes trust, love and dedication; and when carried through, over the course of time, you, too, will see and reap the fruits of your obedience "in the eyes of the LORD", just as Joash did "all of the years of Jehoiada the priest" (2 Chronicles 24:2). In order to help you do so, may you seek to live a God-focused life. #FollowThrough & #BeFulfilled

How well equipped are you to tell the truth so that you can share it with others?
When you are taught the truth, from an early age, especially Scripture, you have the ability to take what you have learned, and, if willing, share this wisdom with others by "training [them] in righteousness" and equipping them for "every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17) so that they, too, can continue to teach and carry on His ways and instructions for generations to come (see Deuteronomy 4:9). Might you, too, consider sharing and carrying on these truths. #RealTruths #ShareThem

What kind of foundation do you want to build for yourself?
With living, we have many choices; and with choices, decisions that need to be made. Among our many decisions to make, here is another one. We are reminded that if we choose not to build a foundation that can't stand life's changing weather then we are like "a foolish man who built his house on the sand" (Matthew 7:26); but, if we choose to hear His words and "[put] them into practice [we are] like a wise man who built his house on the rock" (7:24). As you consider your options, might this one be to choose obedience instead of disobedience. #ASolidOrWeakOne

How can you equip yourself to handle life's challenges?
When it comes to handling adversity, many are not successful, for they do not know how to respond. It is those who seek and come to have a close and eventually an intimate relationship with Christ that are able to do so and be successful. For when you have such a relationship with Him, he gives you the tools, aka truths, that you need to have that helps you to tackle such challenges, which, in turn, reflect His character (see Philippians 3:17-21). So, might you try and "live up to what [you] have already attained" (3:16), but also continue to grow and evolve in your relationship with Him and become more Christ-like. #DevelopingYourCharacter

How much stock do you place in someone who gives you their word?
Apparently, Jeremiah did. Despite a longstanding history of many struggles, Jeremiah still persisted with great resolve, because God kept him from being destroyed, from all of the pressures, especially in spirit and word, by promising to make him "an iron pillar and a bronze wall" (Jeremiah 1:18). If God can do this for Jeremiah, he can do the same for you too, because his "strength is made perfect in [our] weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). For someone to make such a promise and keep it, then those are words that might be worth holding on to. #TakeNote & #BeStrengthened & #AlwaysFaithful & #True
