The Hippie adventure. Peace and love, man. It wasn’t always peace and love.

This book is about the fictional Hippie commune called Drop City. (Although I read the author based it on real accounts of commune life.) It takes place in the early 1970’s.

Kathryn Thanks for the friend invite, Debbie! I'm making an effort to NOT add to my TBR very much this year - I don't think it worked too well for Jan - last time I checked I had added over 20!

I love historical fiction. I was just remarking the other day that almost every book on my shelves is historical fiction or involves a different culture that I'm curious about. This is what I love in books, exploration, learning.

No, not this year. I didnt want to obligate myself and feel pressed. I'm reading and writing this year. Last year was only reading.

Rashaan Hey Debbie, I saw you did the reading challenge last year and aced it! Are you going to do it this year?
