Cassiel Art Reveal!
Hey Guardians! I am emerging from deep in the writing cave to bring you July’s newsletter. I know, I know, I am so late but I promise it’s totally worth it. Buckle up, because this email is goodie bag of awesomeness! We are starting with a bang.
Stella (@petit_kitsune) did amazing on Dyna’s portrait, so I just had to get Cassiel done, too. She did not disappoint. I am swooning! Look at him. Prince Cassiel in the flesh. He’s beautiful. This piece will be included with the Shattered Souls print pack and in the Firelight and Frost book box.

Exclusive EditionsPreorders for all exclusive editions closed at the end of June. But if I have any left over editions, they will be released after initial preorders have shipped in the fall (September-November). Sign up for the waitlist under the shop listings to get the heads up first.
Regular EditionsRegular paperback and hardback editions of Shattered Souls are now up for preorder in my shop. They come signed and include the preorder gift swag (the bookplate will be swapped out for a sticker if you order from me). You will be able to order the book through other retailers mid August.
MapsNew maps are here! I couldn't change them much because I'm so attached to the original map design. @saumyasvision Did amazing to honor that and make them beautiful.
They have been added to the ebooks (Update your kindle copy to see it along with the new headers) , and will be featured in Shattered Souls and the exclusive editions. Working on getting Divine Blood and Bonded Fate updated as well. I probably make them into prints, too.

Up next is the first book in the Chronicles of Urn series. If you caught my last Q&A, I shared a snippet from my draft and other details on the upcoming NA fantasy romance series. You can find them in my Instagram Highlights.
I will hold a title reveal late fall. Release date is still TBD, but I am hoping for a spring release in 2023. I have been asked if the series will also get an exclusive edition book box. Maybe. It depends on the interest and on my schedule. If I do, it will be a mini box.
Translated EditionsSpeaking of new releases, Divine Blood has been translated to German! It will be released late fall this year, possibly October time. It will be released in ebook, paperback, and hardback format. Early eARC copies will be made availble to German bloggers soon, so if you speak the language, keep an eye out for that upcoming announcement. I plan on having the entire series translated going forward, with book 2 and 3 gearing for release next year. And yes, Spanish is coming up next!

When I write, my goal is to bring out an emotion in each scene for all the characters, and they experience them all. Fear, joy, hope, anger, sadness, love. So much love. You can't go through life without feeling something in some way, shape, or form. That's true about reading, too.
The series has come far from that first letter on the page. It's grown and taken shape into something I never thought possible. This book is longer, grittier and darker than the rest, and by far my favorite. We are only midway through their adventure and the stakes will only get higher from here.

It’s time for box pre-orders! I am super excited for the Shattered Souls box and I know you’ll love it. In this month’s newsletter you’ll get all the scoop on what to expect, dates, and hints on what is to come with the Firelight and Frost box for Shattered Souls!
Exclusive Edition Pre-Orders
Everything you need to know:❄️ Pre-order for the Firelight and Frost box drops June 17th at 9AM EST for newsletter subscribers. VIP members will get first access at 8AM EST. Both lists will receive an email with a special password to access the store at their respective times. If you ordered a box last year, you were automatically added to the VIP list. Any new readers purchasing the Shattered Souls box this year will also be added to the list.
Pre-order will be available to the public on June 18th.

Book box with the exclusive edition and all the goodies.
Exclusive edition(s) only without merch.
The exclusive editions of Divine Blood and Bonded Fate and Shattered Souls will be available for purchase as a BOOK ONLY option. Each book has naked cover art, sprayed edges, author signed, and interior bonus content.
Having only two purchase options is to make it easier on me and you. The packaging team consist of only my husband and I, so having only one box to keep track of will help tremendously in shipping orders in a timely manner. It also offers a much more affordable option for those who do not want merch. There will be a Print Pack available with all the Shattered Souls prints, spoiler prints, and bookmarks. It’s great for those who only want the art.

Art Reveal!
Hey Guardians!
Checking in from the writer’s cave, where preparations for the release of Shattered Souls have taken over every waking hour around here. Today, I bring you Shattered Souls art! Look at how beautiful it is. From start to finish, Leah (@the.sketching.hour) did an amazing job. I was in tears when I saw the final product. 😭
This artwork is going on the exclusive edition of Shattered Souls! It’s a bit of spoiler, but I think you can put together what is coming in book three. Lots of highs and lows, and more secrets will be uncovered. One of them is in this piece.
I will have more artwork to share as we get closer to release. Several artists have joined in and I am thrilled. Leah is the main artist for the exclusive edition. She did a piece of Von and Yavi, and we are now working on Lucenna and Klyde. I can’t express to you how I excited I am for all we got planned!

Exclusive EditionsAnd the news you have all been waiting for: The Shattered Souls box will be up for pre-order on my website next month! And yes, it will be full of so many bookish goodies, plus the usual gold. Prints, bookmarks, candles and a (large) pin. The merch will be curated to the book, and the name for this box is Firelight & Frost. We’re getting glittery blue edges of course, and we will also have a slightly different cover in honor of Cassiel. It will still match the series, though. As with the other exclusives, this one will also come with inverted chapter headers, interior artwork, and a bonus chapter. All the preorder info coming in June’s newsletter!
Shattered Souls will be the only book with a box of goodies. The Divine Blood and Bonded Fate exclusive editions will also make a return, but they will be sold by themselves without any merch. I will have those available for pre-order in July.
What’s NextRight now, the Shattered Souls ebook is up for pre-order on Amazon. Pre-order before release and receive a free art print! You can fill out the form HERE. Regular hardbacks and paperbacks will be up for pre-order on all available online retailers in July! The reason for the delay is I do not want to risk the books being misprinted again as they were with Bonded Fate. But no worries, The preorder gift will remain available until release day.

If I could sit down with any character and have a conversation with about life, it would be Rawn. Most of you know he was inspired by Legolas. I was just in awe of his elegant manner, nimbleness, and skills with a bow. I had to recreate that with Rawn, and also bring leadership qualities that inspired others. Many people are curious about him, so we get to learn a bit more about his background.

They held the stare for a moment before she said, “I would like to see your wolf.”
A faint accent tinged her words. But her voice—it reminded him of crisp nights and the rustle of wind. Of the free wild.
Zev stilled, stunned by the sound and her request. If they considered him a threat now, surely they would if he shifted. But she was watching him with those vibrant eyes. Waiting. And damn if his wolf didn’t bristle with pride. They both knew his form was impressive.
Not looking away, he kicked off his boots and peeled away his tunic. Her gaze immediately dropped to the many scars marking his body. The sign of his chains was gone, but not of the brutal life he lived. An omega was always challenged, and it had been marked by claws and fangs.
Her stare dragged over every inch of him as she took in each scar along his arms, chest, and ridges of his stomach. Then he removed his trousers next. The glide of her eyes slipped to his feet, and ever so slowly, made their way up to his face again. Zev called on his wolf.
An ache passed through his body as his muscles rippled with the shift. His large paws hit the dirt, and he rose to his full height. The pack snarled, some stepping back and others holding their ground. Their alarm barely registered when he was so focused on the sharp rise of her chest. Her scent heightened in his senses and her pupils dilated, mouth
parting with a low breath.
After a pause, she walked away.
“You’re right,” she told the beta as she passed him. “He isn’t as big as you. He’s bigger.”

The designer left me stunned with her work. I adore the new covers for Divine Blood, Bonded Fate, and Shattered Souls. They are similar to the original but have a dark, gothic vibe to them that I’m obsessed with. Book 1 will release sometime late fall. Books 2 and 3 will come out next year. Release dates are TBD at the moment, but I do plan for them to be available in all formats. Consecutive books in the series will also have a German editions made as they release.
Other good news: the audiobook for Bonded Fate releases this month on April 19th! The narrators did an amazing job bringing the characters to life and getting the accents just right. Available on Amazon and Audible.

No matter who they are or their status, these two are open and honest with each other, freely fighting they when disagree because they have that type of friendship, one they both secretly treasure. Even if it means working it out by fists or words. And that’s what I love about them.

Exclusive EditionsLeah Fry @the.sketching.hour, our main artist for the exclusive edition of Shattered Souls has started on the art last week. I have already seen the preliminary sketches and you are going to swoon when you see the artwork going on the cover. It’s to die for.
I have commissioned all the artists for the box and for the Shattered Souls release campaign. Its a full house of talent! Some reveals will begin in May like the exclusive edition cover and the rest will be spoiler art for the box. We will have more details on preorder dates for books 1-3 as we get closer to summer time.
Divine Blood in GermanWell, I did it. I have hired a German cover designer to make new covers for the German editions of Divine Blood, Bonded Fate, and Shattered Souls! Divine Blood has been sent off to the translator as well. I expect book 1 to release sometime between this late summer to fall. Books 2 and 3 will come out next year. Stay tuned for the cover reveal. Now on to Spanish!

She let out a disgusted scoff. “Are people so worthless that you do not care who you kill?”
Tarn only looked amused by the question, as if her anger enticed him. The candlelight haloed his white-blond hair as he canted his head. “Only the strong survive, Maiden. And if he died, it was because he lacked the strength to live.
She limply shook her head at all the countless deaths he must be responsible for, and the death of those from her past. “Killing must come easy to you. Saving people, that is more difficult. The day you come across someone you wish to save and cannot is the day you will truly feel powerless.”
His eyes became glacial, seeping a chill through her veins.
Tarn leaned forward in his chair and his icy fingers took her chin, forcing her to meet those wintry orbs he had for eyes. She couldn’t look at him without holding her breath or feeling goosebumps prickle her skin.
And when he spoke, his voice sent a cascade of shudders down her spine. “Oh, Maiden. You are so far out of your depth, you fail to see what this world does to the weak. One day, you may have to make a difficult choice that will no longer keep your hands clean. And I wonder what that will do to your sweet, innocent heart.”
Dyna’s knees trembled where she knelt, her bruised hands curling into fists on the hard ground. He must enjoy this position, of having her kneeling and prostrated at his feet. With his self-importance in his fine black coat while she was covered in cuts and blood, leathers caked in dirt.
“I question if you even have a heart when your soul must be black with all the lives you have taken,” she said.
“When someone attempts to take my life, I will not hesitate to take away theirs. Survival demands more than blood. It demands souls.” His thumb brushed over the small split on her bottom lip she hadn’t known was there. It throbbed, making her wince. “If you want to live, you must pay the price. And most do.
Dyna jerked her chin away.
“No one is ever purely evil, as no one is ever purely good. We all have darkness in our hearts, Maiden. Even you.” He lifted a goblet from the bedside table. “The only difference is in which degree.”
“I will never be like you.”
“Because you think you would never take a life?” Tarn smirked, swishing the contents in his goblet before taking a drink. The scent of spiced wine reached her and she swallowed down her thirst. “You pretend to be standing on some moral high ground from which you judge me, but the truth is when danger is put between yourself or another you care for, you will act. It is an instinct we all have, or did you forget our first meeting outside the grove when you lifted a sword and aimed at me?”
The memory was a cold splash across her shoulders. She could only glare at him as it sprouted a tremor in her chest.
“In that moment, what were you thinking? Not how to escape. To protect your friends, your only thought was to stop me—permanently.” He leaned forward until all she could do was stare into his pale eyes. “And the only way to do that was to kill me.”
She couldn’t deny it. Couldn’t pretend her only goal had been to run him through. Now the very thought of murdering anyone churned her stomach. She wasn’t a killer. But he was right. In that moment, she wanted to end him in a sheer moment of desperation. She’d been willing to coat her hands with blood to stop him.
Tarn crossed one leg over the other and propped his elbow on the armrest to prop his chin against his fist. “You assess what I have done and paint me the villain. But when everything you treasure is stolen from you by the world or those plotting against you, your pure little Maiden heart will become cold and full of hatred. Revenge will be all you want and the only thing that will ever bring you joy is watching their world corrode at your feet.”

My books have been following the season theme, and each has its own special meaning. The third book is frost themed for the winter setting and to represent Tarn, a descendant of the Ice Phoenix. But this series is about more than one character, and Cassiel has some major stake here as well. So as a bonus surprise, the exclusive edition of Shattered Souls will have a slightly different cover to represent that. Don’t worry, it will still match books 1 and 2.

TA-DA!NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT [image error] All of the best legends began with forbidden love…Set in the same world as the Guardians of the Maiden, the Chronicles of Urn is a NA fantasy romance series of standalone romance tales about strong-willed women and the kings they bring to their knees. The Chronicles of UrnThis has been a long time coming. For those who haven’t been around from the beginning, King’s Oath first started as a novella, which grew into a novel that had some spoilers for the main series, so it inevitably was put on pause. But as I have progressed into the Guardians of the Maiden and unveiled new legends in their world, I realized they all deserved to be told as well.
Each book is its own standalone story with a connection to the next book in the series. And yes, it will be NA, but expect more of a sweet romance. They will release in order of when they happen in the timeline and also when it coincides with the Guardian series to avoid spoilers. So this means King’s Oath had to be moved from first to third in the series.
The first book is projected for February-March 2023 and it will follow the tale of the Ice Phoenix King, Jokull, and the bride sent to assassinate him. 😌
Title reveal announcement coming soon. (I know I said I would announce it in November in last months newsletter, but no way will I make you wait that long.)

I am back, and I come bearing gifts! I have some amazing news, plus a giveaway, and a surprise Guardians of the Maiden freebie. Buckle in because I have a lot to share with you.
[image error] Shattered SoulsThe cover for Shattered Souls is blue and absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to see it out into the world. My books have been following the season theme, and each has its own special meaning. The third book is frost themed for the winter setting and to represent Tarn, a descendant of the Ice Phoenix. But this series is about more than one character, and Cassiel has some major stake here as well. So as a bonus surprise, the exclusive edition of Shattered Souls will have a slightly different cover to represent that. Don’t worry, it will still match books 1 and 2.

TA-DA!NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT [image error] All of the best legends began with forbidden love…Set in the same world as the Guardians of the Maiden, the Chronicles of Urn is a NA fantasy romance series of standalone romance tales about strong-willed women and the kings they bring to their knees. The Chronicles of UrnThis has been a long time coming. For those who haven’t been around from the beginning, King’s Oath first started as a novella, which grew into a novel that had some spoilers for the main series, so it inevitably was put on pause. But as I have progressed into the Guardians of the Maiden and unveiled new legends in their world, I realized they all deserved to be told as well.
Each book is its own standalone story with a connection to the next book in the series. And yes, it will be NA, but expect more of a sweet romance. They will release in order of when they happen in the timeline and also when it coincides with the Guardian series to avoid spoilers. So this means King’s Oath had to be moved from first to third in the series.
The first book is projected for February-March 2023 and it will follow the tale of the Ice Phoenix King, Jokull, and the bride sent to assassinate him. 😌
Title reveal announcement coming soon. (I know I said I would announce it in November in last months newsletter, but no way will I make you wait that long.)
Shop NewsThe shop is open, and regular editions are back in stock, plus character cards and pins. Exclusive preorders will open in the summer.

Happy New Year
What do you want to accomplish this year? I have a lot planned, so 2022 schedule is certainly going to keep me busy. Gonna keep this post short and sweet.

Limited Editions We decided to extend the limited editions availability on Amazon until the 15th! last chance to grab them before they go away again for the year.
Photo ChallengeWe have kicked off the year with the Starlight and Wonder box photo challenge. If you bought the box, come join the challenge on Instagram. Check out my last post for all the details. One winner will win a discount off the next exclusive box, and the second winner will win either an art print or pin of their choice from my shop.

Shattered Souls
I am deep in my writing cave working on book three. I have a completed first very rough draft (it’s a messy feral thing) and I am now doing my self revisions before turning it in to my editor for the first round of edits in February. Prepare for some “emotional damage” with this one. Then again, you can expect that with all my books. 😌
