OMGosh, I'm still giddy about this. LOL.
These are the books:
CLASH is category length, and happens to be the second book in my Sci-Fi Recast series. It takes place right after the events of WITHER, but it's Ace's story.
A PATCH OF DARKNESS is the first book (novel length) in a new urban fantasy series about ghosts, and other paranormal stuff.

Have a...

Another Excerpt: When things go wrong for Alex...

The emergency lights suddenly flashed on the dashboard in front of her. Out of nowhere, everything seemed to be flashing red and green—mingling together. To have so many lights from several components blink rapidly was bad news. Alex had overhauled her ship only weeks ago, even splurged on paying a professional cleaner to make the exterior gleam. Now, everything seemed to be failing.
That wasn't technically possible.
The ship was old, but mostly reliable.
Alex secured the seatbelt over her...

Check out my interview at The Galaxy Express:

TheGalaxyExpress.net It's right HERE!

Thanks so much for having me over, Heather. It was a lot of fun!

Heather also had this to say about PROMISE: "I must say, this (shortish) novel took me for a ride on the unpredictable express."

Very cool!

Well, hope you're all having an awesome day. See ya!

Excerpt: When Alex & Damon Meet

Alex stepped outside but couldn't find firm ground. She tumbled forward, flying through the air as her hands clawed to grab at the branches striking her face and body on the way down.
When she finally landed, it was on top of something firm that made a sound and collapsed beneath her.
Alex felt the undeniable beating of another's heart against her chest.
As she scrambled to press her hands against the leafy ground to lift her body, she met the blazing green eyes of a dark-haired man lying...

Oh, Goddess...

See The Goddess Oracle pic to the left? Well, this is something my daughter gave me a few weeks ago. (Not the pic, but the actual tarot, lol.)
Last month, her school held a May Fair and one of the stalls happened to sell books. Once the fair was over, they had a bunch of leftover stuff, so the kids got to take a look at what was left and take one thing home. My daughter found this lovely boxed tarot, and got it for me because she thought it would come in handy for my research.
That's so

In a broken, barren California, Cass will undergo a harrowing...
