THE FIRST DAYS by Rhiannon Frater

The morning that the world ends, Katie is getting ready for court and housewife Jenni is taking care of her family. Less than two hours later, they are fleeing for their lives from a zombie horde.
Thrown together by circumstance, Jenni and Katie become a powerful zombie-killing partnership, mowing down zombies as they rescue Jenni's stepson, Jason, from an infected campground.
They find sanctuary in a tiny, roughly fortified Texas town. With almost no hope left outside the walls, Jenni, Katie span

Well, new week...

What have you got on offer? Will it be more horrible rain, or will the sun stay with us this time? I'm hoping for some lovely sunny weather, for a change.
Anyway. I actually allocated this week--which also happens to be the last week of July, gasp--for the last round of IRIS edits. And they actually arrived in my Inbox on Thursday night. Once again, cutting it very close, but I've set myself the goal of getting it done and emailed by Wednesday afternoon. And if I can reach page 200/355 by the ...

Another Rainy Day

Yeah. Looks like this yucky, wet weather is going to stick around for a while longer. Not too long, I hope. I'm already over it. :(
I've got a quota of two rainy days before I'm totally sick of them.
Remember those guest blog posts I wrote the other day? Well, they're both live:
My post about Sci-Fi is at LovLivLife Reviews, andMy post about Christmas in July is at Happily Ever After.
If you have a spare sec, pop on over and say 'Hi'. :D

Well, yesterday turned out to be quite a relaxing day. I...

So...

You know how most people chat about the weather when they don't have anything else to talk about? Well, I talk about the weather all the time. Seriously. I like to talk about it when it's nice, when it's crappy, and even in between. It makes no difference to me. I just like it. ;)

LMAO.

At the moment, we're in the middle of winter and have been having some pretty shitty weather. Like, the sun might be out for several days, and then the rain sets in for a lot longer. As well as some crazy-ass...

EAT SLAY LOVE by Jesse Petersen

Sarah and David have survived the zombie apocalypse. They stood side by side and fought the undead, mad scientists, and even bionic monsters until the unthinkable happened. A zombie bite. But not even that could stop them. Now, with a possible cure in hand, they're headed east, looking for a safe zone behind the rumored "Wall." They're feeling pretty optimistic. That is until Dave stops sleeping and starts lifting huge objects.

Eat. Slay. Love.Because they haven't got a prayer.
This is the...

Trying to get back on track

Yep. I'm in zombie-reading territory again, and I'm lovin' it. :)

Well. My daughter went back to school yesterday, but I had several things that I needed to do, and didn't have a chance to squeeze in any blogging. It's been happening a lot lately. Which I don't like.
But the last few months have been super-busy with so much stuff, and I don't think things are going to slow down because I've still got edits coming, and plan to write several more stories during this second half of the year...

SURVIVORS by Sophie Littlefield

DOING RIGHT ISN'T EASY IN A WORLD GONE SO WRONG
Cass Dollar outlasted the fall of civilization. But surviving Aftertime requires the kind of toughness that can conquer the violent landscape of California and still retain its humanity. When a young boy and his dying grandmother are brought to the Box, the survivalist community where Cass takes shelter, she realizes that without her help he won't be long for this unforgiving new world. But while the Box is a haven from the roaming marauders—and...

Neglectful Blogger

Yeah, that's me. But I didn't have a choice. I've had a very full week. And not just because of the edits I mentioned the other day. There were a lot of real life things that I had to take care of, too. O_o
*taking a deep breath*
It took me all week to get through the first round of edits for IRIS, which ended up being 380 pages. And I didn't meet my self-imposed-Friday-afternoon deadline. I had to finish off this morning. Luckily, hubby went into work really early this morning. So by the...
