Weekend Reading.

This book wasn't what I thought it would be. It had the usual tropes I expected from LJ—enemies to lovers, billionaire, touch her and die, break him down—but I found this book a little hard to get through. The FMC was kind of annoying and her lofic juvenile. The MMC refused to want to like her, even though it was obvious he did. I finished the book and it was okay but not one of my favorites.

Weekend Update

August was SO busy and I have so many updates but I don't want to overwhelm you so I'm going to spread them out.

First and foremost, final edits of Island of the Lost are DONE! you have no idea how excited that makes me. The first round of paperbacks for my shop have been ordered and should come in the next two weeks. I can not begin to tell you what a roller coaster it is to hold this book in my hands because this series is done. It's a bittersweet feeling.

Also, did I ever share the cover of Island of the Lost? I can't remember so. Just in case...taadaa! This like all the others was designed by the amazing Maria Spada. Huge shoutout to her for helping to bring these stories to life.

I know I fell off the social media wagon this past week but I'm planning and ready to jump back on!

I can't lie. All of my silence wasn't work-related. I went to Nashville for a bachelorette party (I'll talk about that sometime later). It was a blast but I am beyond ready for a relaxing weekend.

I was so intrigued when Bailey posted the blurb for this book because I haven’t read very many love triangle books and this seemed like it would be an interesting take on it. Bailey sure has a knack for packing the emotion into a book and she brought the angst with this one! It delivered on so many levels and hit on so many amazing tropes that worked so well together. It truly was unexpected! ⁣
