Inconsistently Consistent

In 2019, Mohanji was in isolation for twenty-one days in Mookambika with a few people. During this period, he decided to restrict his consumption to uncooked food (like fruits, coconut water, etc.) and the consecrated food from the temple– the food served to the Divine Mother in the Mookambika temple that the temple priests distributed amongst themselves. My task was to get the food from the priest, bring it to the hotel and serve it to Mohanji. When I served Mohanji on the first day, he saw the...

Ask, and You Shall Receive. What not to Ask?

Once, in a casual conversation, Mohanji mentioned that there are moments when everything is in alignment, and He can grant any wish without repercussions (give or take). A glitch in the Matrix that allows the granting of any desire. Anything at all! At such times, He asks anyone next to Him for their wish and grants it. Of course, He does so without informing the person about the enormity of the moment. He mentioned that one such moment had come to pass on his last overseas trip. He asked the pe...

Make Hay While the Sun Shines

People come to Mohanji with various desires and demands, which He tries to fulfil, including the most challenging propositions. Nobody who comes to Mohanji leaves empty-handed, and Mohanji fills them up as per the capacity to receive. He never lets anyone down. Numerous testimonials attest to that fact. He is ever ready to serve, with a standard question, “What else can I do for you?”

Swami Thyagananda said, “This is Mohanji’s last incarnation, which he has taken to fulfil all desires, no mat...

Nary a Tear, Not a Sigh

Many people in the Mohanji community know Taiji, a devout old lady deeply connected to Mohanji who has written the Mohanji ashtotari (the 108 names of Mohanji), sahasranaam (the 1008 names of Mohanji) and chalisa (the 40 verses of Mohanji). When Mohanji stayed in Dharamshala, Delhi was the closest major airport. Mohanji mostly stayed at her home in Delhi in those days. Hence, she was well acquainted with the many visitors who frequented her home to meet Mohanji. She also wrote the Mohanji Satcha...

Mata, Pita, Guru, Daivam

In 2018, Mohanji moved from Dharamshala to Bangalore to allow his parents to visit easily from Palakkad, where they lived earlier. Eventually, they liked the ashram atmosphere in Bangalore and moved there permanently. On one of her visits to Bangalore, Mila once asked Mohanji, “Who is the main person (or head) of our family?” Mohanji immediately said, “Acchan (his father).” Mila said, “Oh, it is Acchan. Not you.” Mohanji replied, “Yes, It is Acchan, not me. Being the eldest in our family...

A Stitch in Time Saves Nine

We regularly do a homa (sacred fire ceremony) at the Bangalore ashram for the welfare of the Mohanji community– those who love Mohanji and their families. On 9th May 2018, I was having my coffee, and Mohanji came down from his room and asked me why I hadn’t started the homa. There was still time, so I was a bit relaxed. Mohanji asked me a few times to start it quickly. Despite that, I took a bit longer to finish my coffee and start the homa. A little later, we received the shocking news of Sanja...

A Miraculous Revelation

Mohanji celebrated his 2016 birthday with friends and followers at the powerful Vaishno Devi temple near Jammu. One of the guests was an old acquaintance, a homoeopath with a peculiar diagnostic method. He would first scan the individual’s aura to assess the issue. He would then connect to the individual’s pulse and, through the pulse, travel energetically to the point inside the patient’s throat, which afforded him a visual view of their anatomy by looking below, the brain by looking above, and...

Mohanji and His Spy Network

When he stayed at Dharamshala, Mohanji once travelled in the car, returning home with Mishraji (his ex-PA). Suddenly, Mohanji asked to stop the car and instructed Mishraji to check the roadside. Mishraji found a litter of four puppies. Mohanji said their mother had died and, with no one to protect them or provide food, they would not survive. He decided to adopt them and asked Mishraji to get them into the car. Mishraji and Hein cared for the puppies, and soon, the brood of siblings (3 brothers ...

Mohanji and His Birdie Gang

Mohanji has a special thing with the birdie folks. I feel that not all of them are regular birdies. Hein and Mishraji told me about the eagle protectors that circled our Dharamsala house in the Himalayas. Not only the ashram but also the inhabitants. Whenever I travelled on the motorcycle, I always saw eagles hovering above. A constant reminder of the Master’s protection and proof of His message, “I am always with you.” There were the scanners who came a few days or a week before Mohanji’s ...

An Unexpected Stairway to Heaven

During the Kailash 2019 pilgrimage, I took a sankalpam (intention) to do 1008 dips in Lake Manasarovar in Mohanji’s name. I kept reiterating my intention throughout our journey from Kathmandu to Lake Manasarovar. When we reached Lake Manasarovar, we discovered that the Chinese authorities had prohibited dips in the lake. The pilgrims had to take buckets, fill them with water from the lake, and pour water on their heads. A serious WTF moment! Luckily, the organising team had the chops to find a s...
