[Video] Opening the Crown Chakra to Purify Your Soul

The seventh chakra, also called the crown chakra, is our connection to the divine and our spiritual nature. Because this chakra is directly aligned with the cosmos, it also allows for spirituality to integrate into our physical lives. By opening the seventh chakra and receiving energy through it, all of our seven chakras become filled with energy. Your energy is purified, and your soul in your heart, your fourth chakra can become brighter and stronger.

In this video of a small workshop I gave in New Zealand, I opened the seventh chakras of the participants. As you watch it, you can imagine you are one of the people in attendance and experience your own seventh chakra opening.

[Audio] A Song of Remembrance and Appreciation for You

Ilchi Lee

I woke up early one morning and was doing some meditation when all the times I’ve spent with my students and partners passed through my mind.

Despite these times together, the path of achieving something new has always been solitary and lonely. Yet I would do anything for my vision of helping people and the earth become bright—healthy, happy, and peaceful. Because it’s this path that fulfills the longing of my most authentic self.

Now, I’m standing in the middle of the path that I’ve chosen, and in spite of anything I have to endure, nothing can turn me away or make me stand aside from it. Wherever I am and whatever I’m doing, I will not stop my song and prayer for this world.

What I felt at that moment of remembrance is reflected in the song below, “Wild Chrysanthemum.” I comforted myself through this song and expressed my love and appreciation to everyone who has walked with me on this path. This song is my gift to them. I am always cheering them on.

What are the moments and people that you most appreciate? When you look back on your life, do you feel satisfied with it?

I want to be a wild chrysanthemum of golden light.

I want to be a free wild chrysanthemum.

It’s okay if I have no name;

I like myself, and I like that I have

butterflies and stars that come to visit me.

I really like that my soul becomes a grass seed riding on the wind,

and I can journey around the whole world.

I really love

that I can follow my destined relationships

and be born again

by the road or by a river

or in the garden at a small house.

No matter where I am, I love myself,

and I will dance and sing for this world.

I want to bloom as blessings and love for everyone.

How to Raise Your Spiritual Temperature by Making Goals for the New Year

young woman writing in her journal on her bed

[Photo by DragonImages via Envato Elements]

This past year has been historic, and many people are anxious for it to be over. But regardless of the year, the end of the year provides a good marker for reflection and reset. What can we learn from 2020, and how can we make 2021 different?

The tumultuous events of this year may have been out of our individual control, but they are a result of the sum of changes in our collective consciousness. That’s why I’ve spent the past year helping people to “get bright.” If each of us takes individual responsibility to improve our health, change our blues to cheer, and make our attitude and outlook more positive, then we have a chance to make the future of humanity and the earth brighter.

Raise Your Spiritual Temperature

Just as our immune systems create a fever to fight an infection, to combat the “virus” of darkness, we can get bright by raising our “spiritual temperature.” Our spiritual temperature gets hotter when the divine aspect of ourselves in our brains is awakened. When that happens, we’re able to see the oneness in all and recognize our inherent, limitless value. Our spiritual temperature also gets hotter when we fill ourselves with the brightest energy and practice radical gratitude, so that our souls—our true selves—strengthen and expand. And it happens when in this state, we share our brightness with kindness and compassion toward others (Hongik).

The tools for raising our spiritual temperature are having concrete goals that express our true selves and raising our body temperature through mind-body-energy exercises (such as Belly Button Healing, Brain Wave Vibration, Longevity Walking, and even push-ups). Our spirituality becomes activated when we have a goal. The happiest times in my life have been when I was working diligently with other people toward a greater goal.

Evaluate the Past

What is your goal for 2021 to raise your spiritual temperature? Before deciding that, it’s best to evaluate your temperature for the past year. What have your values been, and how have you acted on them? What meaning did 2020 have for you, and what were you able to accomplish?

Evaluate yourself honestly without judgment or blame. Everything that has happened so far was simply a part of your growth. Evaluation can be a means of healing yourself and raising your spiritual temperature, but if you berate and degrade yourself in the process, it can become a means for killing your spirit. Instead of only remembering the negative, you can remember positive or uplifting moments for which you can be grateful. This gives your brain hope and helps you release its potential.

Decide on the Future

In the process of evaluating the past year, you may come across your wishes for the next year. They can be things you’d like to improve upon or new opportunities or ideas that occur to you. Before you decide on your goals for 2021 though, I suggest checking in with your heart. Do your goals make your heart sing? Do they make you look forward to the future? Or are they simply to satisfy your fear of being “bad” or of lacking the resources to survive? We all need money and people to live, but if our goals stop there, then our actions lose meaning. Our goals can encompass both the survival of our bodies and the growth of our souls.

I always suggest keeping a journal. Once you decide on your goals, you can write them down in your journal. Making your goals very specific with numbers/amounts and time limits can help your brain latch onto them and start working on them concretely.

Once you have that, you can go into more detail about how you can achieve your goals. Include ways you can raise your body temperature every day. Raising your body temperature means the same as eliminating overthinking and scattered thoughts so you have the clarity and focus to achieve your goals.

Daily Evaluation and Planning

Just as you can evaluate and plan at the end of the year, you can make a habit of doing it every day. Daily progress leads to long-term completion. And living each day as you want your future to be helps that future come to pass.

At the end of each day, you can record in your journal:

What degree of spiritual temperature did I live today?
What was my goal achievement score and what did I do today?
How well did I raise my body temperature today?
What is my daily goal for tomorrow?

If you do this, little by little, you will get better at it, and you may see your spiritual temperature rising. You can change your life with daily and yearly evaluation and planning.

[Video] The Power of Choice | Beyond the Name and Personality Ep. 05 (Ilchi Lee Audio Lecture)

According to the choices we make, we may create an age that is the worst, most tragic age in the history of the world . . . or we may create the most honorable, bright, and promising age. Which road will you choose? In this lecture, I talk about how we can make that choice.

Give Yourself the Gift of Light with Meditation

Ilchi Lee sending energy to workshop participants

In these days of social distancing, I’m meeting many people online, training and counseling them and sending them energy. The energy I’m sending now is of the brightest heavenly light, what I call gwangmyung chunki in Korean. It’s an invisible light whose energetic “heat” is as strong as 1 million degrees Celsius.

This light is the light of awakening and enlightenment. It clears chakras while it brightens and balances your body’s entire energy system. Gwangmyung light grows the energy of your soul and brightens your spirit—the divine aspect of yourself in your brain.

You can also receive this light. There’s no trick or special exercise. Just be open and willing.

Close your eyes and slow down your breathing.
Bring your awareness back to yourself in the here and now, rather than outside of yourself or in the past or the future.
Repeat “gwangmyung” out loud or to yourself.
Allow the light to come to you. Visualize it filling your body from the top of your head to the tips of your fingers and down to the tips of your toes.
Imagine the light burning away your ego, your worries, and your fears until nothing is left besides your own inner light.
Let your body move as it wants in any fashion. Express the light you have inside.
Then come to rest in a comfortable posture but with your back straight. Put your hands on your abdomen below your navel. Feel your hands touching your belly, and feel your abdomen rising as you inhale and falling as you exhale.
After resting this way for a short while, you can restart your day with renewed energy and hope.

Just as I sent light to others, you can too. There are no qualifications or prerequisites. Just use your mind and your hands to “shoot” bright, loving light to those you want to help. In the process, you will find that the person who is healed the first is yourself.

This is a season of light. That’s the greatest gift you can give yourself—the light of the LifeParticle Sun, the source of all life. You can use this light to bring yourself back to your purest, truest self. The self that is love and peace, from which all wellness stems.

This is a season of light. The the greatest gift you can give yourself is the purest, brightest energy of the Source of all life.

Ancient Wisdom of the Chun Bu Kyung You Can Apply Today

The Chun Bu Kyung in Ancient Text

The Chun Bu Kyung in Ancient Text

Everything changes. You can take that as a fundamental principle of life. However, fundamental principles themselves never change. They are the undercurrent of all the events in our bodies, our lives, and our world.

About 9,000 years ago in ancient Korea, fundamental principles were illuminated in what came to be regarded as a sacred text called the Chun Bu Kyung. This text, passed down orally and then written in different forms, speaks of life’s essential mysteries of birth, growth, and completion. Throughout the generations, the wisdom of the Chun Bu Kyung has remained relevant, and there are many lessons we can apply to our modern lives.

Some Essential Chun Bu Kyung Concepts

Oneness: Everything comes from One Source, a Source that has no beginning or end, and eventually returns to that Source.
The One has spiritual, materialistic, and energetic aspects described as heaven, earth, and human. Each human being came from the energy of heaven and earth, and in each human being the energies of heaven and earth reside.
In Oneness, good and evil, life and death, heaven and earth are not defined as opposites, but as parts of the same cosmic harmony.
The Oneness of all naturally expresses itself through actions that benefit all (Hongik).
We have an Original Mind that’s the same as the mind of the One Source, the Cosmic Mind, which is bright like the sun.
Human beings have infinite value that is not tied to anything. Our true value is that we are free, divine beings.
Humans have a special mission to develop our divine aspect and to reconnect to the earthly and heavenly realms.

The concept of One is central in the Chun Bu Kyung, and the character for one, or il in Korean, is repeated the most among its 81 characters. We can interpret One as meaning consciousness, both Cosmic Consciousness (Cosmic Mind) and our individual consciousness, which are one.

We can experience oneness by becoming free from ideas and mental representations. In that oneness, we can see our true selves, use our Original Mind, experience our infinite value, and live with infinite creativity. We can rely on this consciousness.

Our lives are like tiny droplets of water floating in the ocean. We are little lives connected with the great cosmic mind. When we feel the cosmic mind, relying on it, we can feel ourselves becoming infinitely free and great.

How Can You Create a Consciousness of Oneness?

Oneness can only be experienced in the present moment. This is the purpose of meditation and methods I’ve created such as Brain Education. You can focus on the moment by feeling your body’s sensations, such as your breathing, your heartbeat, or your inner energy field.

Meditation can not only focus your mind, but can refresh your information. It can clear thoughts and emotions so you can see your true essence of oneness deep inside. Meditation also gets our thoughts and emotions moving enough that we can remain detached from them. With distance from our ever-changing thoughts and moods, we can see the bigger picture—the harmony and beauty of the whole and ourselves as part of it.

One active meditation I recommend doing for a oneness consciousness is Brain Wave Vibration followed by Pineal Gland Meditation. These meditation methods strengthen the divine consciousness in our brain.

You can further clear your mind and energy and strengthen your consciousness by experiencing the Chun Bu Kyung through sight and sound. Listen to the Chun Bu Kyung being chanted or chant it yourself. Meditate on the meaning and image of each character.

Apply the Consciousness of Oneness to Your Life

What does it look like to see everything through the lens of oneness?

Helping others means helping yourself.
Healing yourself helps to heal others.
There’s no need for guilt, judgment, or blame.
Everything is an aspect of love.
We reconcile with others and ourselves.
We see beyond ideologies and divisions to the One in all of us.

By looking at our lives and the world through the lens of oneness, our relationships can change. We can be more motivated to care for ourselves and be more willing to reach out to others in need. We may hesitate to accuse or insult others knowing that we are harming ourselves by doing so.

Our choices can change as well. We can consider what’s best for the whole when we make decisions, discarding options that benefit ourselves while hurting others. Instead, we tend to make choices that are mutually beneficial.

By showing us who we really are, the Chun Bu Kyung points the way to thinking and acting for the highest good.

[Video] How to Use Your Mind with Qi Energy

Energy has many names like Ki/Qi, Chi, Prana, etc. I call it Ki. Did you know that through Ki energy, you can see, control, and even use your mind? Many people have problems with controlling their mind, and when I say use your mind, a lot of people seem to have no idea what I am talking about. However, I really mean that you can use your mind with Ki energy.

Love Yourself So Much that Your Heart Explodes

Ilchi Lee smiling

I like me. I like myself so much. I like myself so much it gives me chills all over my body. I find myself so lovable. And I’m so proud of myself.

Now I have found myself. And that’s enough now. Now, it’s enough. I don’t need anything else. I am me.

Everything started from me. And everything will end with me. This me, this self that is connected with eternal life, because I have this self, I am one with everything.

I am shining in my heart. I am vibrating in my heart.

Do you feel yourself in your heart? Keep growing that self until it expands from your chest into your whole body. Feel that self with your whole body.

This is the Il, or One, from the Chun Bu Kyung. It is Il Shi Mu Shi Il and Il Jong Mu Jong Il.

I am me. How proud and how confident and self-assured I am. Even if I die, I am me. And if I live, I am still me.

To have found this lost self, how much time have I spent? How many lives have I lived? How much time have I spent wandering and lost? The moment that you feel and know yourself, you feel an electric current throughout your whole body.

Love that self. Give your life to love that self. Love yourself so much that your heart explodes. Love yourself until death, so much that it kills you, that it makes you crazy.

[Video] 7 Chakras Guided Meditation for Self-Healing

Energy is invisible, but it is with us all the time and in all places. In our body, the energy gathers and swirls at seven spots known as chakras. Each chakra relates to a different aspect of us, and a chakra being blocked or opened has a huge impact. In this video, I use guided sound meditation to open each of your seven chakras.
