Want some candy, little girl?
My promo pens for RT have arrived!
My apologies for the not-so-great camera-phone pic. I chose this particular pen (out of 30-something possibles - no joke!) because I could print my website's addy on the pocket clip, leaving the actual body of the pen for my tag line, "Sink your claws into something unexpected."
I can't get over how much they look like shiny sticks of candy! Hopefully they'll be a crowd-pleaser. :)

Friday hotties, and my crazy schedule!
Once again, I'm featured on the lovely Amara's blog! Today she's highlighting the hotties who inspired my scorching new menage, ENTANGLED TRIO.
Get a peek at my awesome threesome here: http://amaras-place.blogspot.com/2011...
In other news... looked at my calendar for the first time in over a week. Imagine my surprise that it's now the 18th! Where did the rest of the month go? I'm giving myself till the 27th to finish up my current WIP. If I can't, then I'll have to set it aside until I get back from RT.
Can I do it? Tune in later and find out! :)

One more day!
Tomorrow I blast off for RT in Los Angeles, and everything I do for the next five days will be tax-deductible! Woohoo!
If you're in the area, I'll be signing at the Giant Book Fair on Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM. It's open to the public!
In other news... my very first book, The Arrangement, is now $1.99 at All Romance e-books! Better grab it now if you haven't already - it goes out of print on May 5th!

Decisions, decisions...
I'm already committed (no pun intended!) to attending Authors After Dark and Gay Rom Lit this year. They're both in Georgia - Savannah and Atlanta, respectively. Really excited about Savannah - I've wanted to go there ever since I read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. As for Atlanta... I'm thinking about flying in a couple days early so I can stalk Ian Somerhalder. :)
Which leaves the two big cons of the year, Romantic Times and Romance Writers of America. I haven't been to either in a few years, mostly because I feel lost in the shuffle among all the other, much bigger-name authors. But since I've started self-publishing this year, I'm thinking I should make an effort to get to at least one of them.
I'm leaning toward RT, since RWA's in Atlanta, and I'd rather not visit the same city twice in the same year. And considering RWA's stance toward both e-publishing and self-publishing, maybe RT will be a more hospitable environment.
So, what do you all think?
