Friday hotties, and my crazy schedule!
Once again, I'm featured on the lovely Amara's blog! Today she's highlighting the hotties who inspired my scorching new menage, ENTANGLED TRIO.
Get a peek at my awesome threesome here: http://amaras-place.blogspot.com/2011...
In other news... looked at my calendar for the first time in over a week. Imagine my surprise that it's now the 18th! Where did the rest of the month go? I'm giving myself till the 27th to finish up my current WIP. If I can't, then I'll have to set it aside until I get back from RT.
Can I do it? Tune in later and find out! :)

I'm awake...
At least, I think I am. The only downside to a 3-day weekend? Today's Tuesday, but it feels like Monday!
The upside? I really cranked on the word count this weekend! Although it took FOREVER to get my Marine and his new boyfriend into bed. They kept insisting on having dinner first! And TALKING! Hey, who's writing this story anyway?
To celebrate hitting the 15K mark, I took the afternoon off yesterday to go see Bridesmaids and laughed my effing ass off! It's comedy brilliance, and Kristen Wiig is a goddess! See it!
And now, time to exercise & get going with my day. Later! :)

Coming up for air...
Just cracked the 30K mark on my Marine story. Sent him off to have Christmas with his new boyfriend & the BF's mother. Yup, it's time for the heart-warming section of the story, before I bring the hurt.
I'm evil, ain't I? :-)
Next week I'm taking a bit of a break. Got a friend driving up with me to go see Wagner's RIng Cycle at the San Francisco Opera. I'm very excited! Hopefully I'll come back all perky and refreshed, ready to tackle the home stretch of this book.
But now I've got two more days to crank on it before I get to go see Michael Fassbender in spandex. Or leather. Either way, I'm good. :)

It's Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friiiday...
Reviews by Jessewave gave A Fool for You four out of five stars! w00t! What a great way to cruise into the weekend!
I've been cranking on the Marine story this week. Over 10K in the past four days. I know some writers can do that in their sleep, but I've always been kind of a slowpoke - a thousand per day on average, with a few 2K's and the occasional 3K when I'm really chugging along. Yay for progress!
And tomorrow I finally get to see Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy make eyes at each other, just to let us know they're totally Doing It offscreen! X-Men FTW!
Okay, I'm outtie. Have a great weekend, everyone! :)

Into the home stretch...
Everybody else in the world (or so it seems!) is heading off to New York for the RWA conference. But here I sit at home, trying to finish my Marine book. It's up over 40K now. First I thought it'd clock in at around 30K, then when I reached 30, I thought, "Oh, 40K, easy." Now I'm thinking it'll be close to 50K. Hoping, anyway! I really would like to finish it this week.

FINISHED!
Just typed "The End" on my Marine book.
You know what this means, right? It means I can go see X-Men again tomorrow! w00t!
Collapsing on the couch will commence... NOW! *flops*
