New book out tonight! :)
And the releases just keep a-comin'! Tonight my new novella Fearless drops onsite at Riptide Publishing!
After over a year together, Connor Morrison and Wes Martin decide to tie the knot. But an ethics complaint regarding their deeply non-traditional relationship threatens Connor’s job and Wes’s Ph.D. The fact that Connor tried to keep it from Wes—even with the best of intentions—makes the situation even worse and casts a pall over their plans for a Christmas wedding in New York.
It doesn’t help that Connor still treats Wes like glass, though Wes insists he’s recovered from the brutal assault he suffered a year and a half earlier. Wes may be okay, but Connor isn’t. Memories of taking a battered, terrified Wes to the emergency room that night still haunt him, and he can’t let go of the need to protect Wes from any and everything life might throw at him.
But Wes has had enough. Between the specter of the ethics complaint and Connor’s overprotectiveness, he’s already beginning to question their plans. Add in a family ashamed of and angered by his choices, and Wes might just leave Connor standing at the altar.
Be sure to join me on my month-long blog tour for Fearless and my new self-pubbed novella, By Chance. I'm giving away some great prizes, including ebooks from my backlist, a chance to name a character in one of my future books, and jewelry from Freia Inguz and Poly's Pleasures!

The reviews are rolling in! And so are the prizes!
Mrs. Condit gives Fearless 5 stars! "...the plot is tense and plausible, the characters continue to wrap themselves around my heart, and there are more stories to tell in this series. I look forward to each one, and, for that matter, to anything Cat Grant publishes."
And Reviews by Jessewave said: "Fearless was a fitting sequel to Priceless and, as far as I’m concerned, an almost necessary complement. I’d recommend to read both books, preferably back to back." 4 stars!
Today I continue my month-long blog tour for both Fearless and my self-pubbed novella By Chance . Drop by Mrs. Condit's to get the scoop on my - and my hero Wes's - tattoos, and enter to win your choice of ebooks from my backlist, and a chance at a brand-new Kindle Fire HD!
And win a copy of Fearless - and 3 other hot m/m titles - today at Lex Valentine's 30 Days of Christmas celebration! :-)

Mrs. Condit gives THE ARRANGEMENT 5 stars!
And says:
This book has sweet romance, hard won and satisfying. It also has hot sex! Whether you read it for the romance or the sex, you’re going to enjoy both. Cat Grant is an author whose style of writing I enjoy very much. Her series work flows from one story to the next and you can’t always expect an instant HEA at the end of each episode, but she is always heading toward the conclusion she had in mind from the start. I loved The Arrangement and can hardly wait for the next story in the series!
Stop by her blog today for an exclusive character interview - and comment to win a signed paperback! :)

Busy, busy Monday!
This is one of those "hit the ground running" kinds of weeks. I'm getting tired just thinking about it!
To kick off my Monday, Flawless is now available on Amazon and All Romance ebooks!
3 Chicks After Dark had this to say:
"Cat Grant is an terrific storyteller, and she does an amazing job of conveying changing emotions, inner struggle and character growth without being overt. Ultimately each has something that makes him ideal for the other. Watching these guys try to cope was riveting – things they said and did, decisions they made together or separately."
Book Reviews & More by Kathy said: "Flawless is a compelling romance and Cat Grant deftly handles a delicate subject in a matter of fact and sensitive manner."
Drop by The Delighted Reader today to learn how meeting one very special woman inspired me to write this book - and leave a comment to win your choice of any book from my back list!
Watch this space for more blog tour stops - and more chances to win! :-)

Now climbing the best seller lists!
My hot new novella Flawless is doing exceptionally well on Amazon, and it's just hit the best seller list over on All Romance ebooks.
For those of you who are still on the fence, (LOL!) here's an excerpt to whet your collective appetites:
Gil ordered the rib eye, medium rare, while Steve went for the prime rib, bloody, and a bottle of his favorite cabernet.
The wine seemed to be helping Gil unwind, if his half slump against the booth’s plush leather upholstery was any clue. “The waiter called you by name. How many times have you been here?”
“My business partner and I usually come by when we have something big to celebrate.” Or we used to, anyway.
“Business partner?” Gil’s eyebrow arched. “I thought you were just a dabbler.”
Damn. Only half a glass, and he was already letting things slip. Common sense told him to own up to the truth. “Also known as a lab geek.”
“A lab geek with designer clothes and a fancy sports car?” Gil laughed and reached for his wine. “Man, am I in the wrong business.”
Speaking of . . . “How’s business at the shop?”
“Same crap, different week.” Gil shrugged. “I should’ve walked up to Market and posted more handbills. I don’t get a lot of drive-by traffic where I am.”
“You looked pretty busy this afternoon.”
“The Fiat’s mine. I’ve been fixing it up for the last six months or so.”
Steve smiled and refilled their glasses. Maybe this was the key to drawing Gil out. “Guess you’ll be glad to have functioning wheels again, huh?”
Gil snorted. “I get around just fine on the bus. Besides, it still needs a ton of work. I’ll probably sell it once I’m done.”
“Then what? Use the proceeds to move the shop to a better location?” Careful, now. Don’t want to offend him again. “You’d attract more business up near Valencia.”
“That’d be great—soon as I win the lottery.” Gil’s smile told him he hadn’t overstepped this time, thank God. “I’ll never make that kind of money restoring cars. I’m lucky to get back what I put into them.” He fidgeted, glancing around the room again. “Looks like a pretty popular place for date night.”
“Actually, this is the first time I’ve brought a date here. Or even had a date in . . . a while.”
“Yeah?” Gil leaned forward, his face bathed in the muted golden light from the lamp above their table. It made his eyes look positively liquid. “Why the dry spell? I would’ve thought somebody like you’d have guys lined up around the block.”
He laughed. “Not hardly. In fact, up until a few months ago, I was dating women.”
Silence crackled as Gil studied him, then stared into his glass. “What happened? You got bored and decided to check out how the other half screws?”
“Not really. I, um . . .” How to phrase it? This wasn’t something he could just toss out there as if it didn’t mean anything. “At the risk of sounding pretentious, I had an epiphany. Realized far too late how I really felt about a close friend. It made me face a lot of stuff I’d been repressing. Including my attraction to men.”
Gil huffed out a chuckle, but a hint of wariness had crept into his eyes. “So I’m your guinea pig, huh? Your training wheels? Whatever you want to call it.”
“That’s not how I’d—” But of course, the waiter would have to choose that moment to bring their food. Steve tried to drum up some small talk, for all the good it did—Gil just shrugged and made monosyllabic replies. At least he seemed to be enjoying his steak. He devoured it like it was the first decent dinner he’d had in months, while Steve picked at his prime rib, trying to figure out how to smooth over his latest gaffe.
“How about dessert?” was the best gambit he could come up with when the waiter returned to take away their plates.
“Nah, I’m fine. I should be getting back anyway.” In fact, Gil was already sliding out of the booth. “Got to hit the men’s room. I’ll meet you out front.”
Strained silence followed them back to Gil’s place, continuing even after Steve pulled up to the curb and cut the engine. Fuck this. He wasn’t about to let their first real date go up in flames. “Listen, whatever I said this time, I’m sorry.”
“Don’t worry about it.” Gil reached for the door latch. “Thanks for dinner. I had a nice time.”
“Then why’re you practically jumping out of my car again?” He considered hitting the lock, but—bad idea. That wouldn’t put Gil at ease. “Will you please just tell me what’s wrong?”
The passenger’s side door swung open. Gil eyed his escape route, then sighed and slumped back in his seat. “Look at you—your clothes, this car. The restaurant. That’s your world.” He gestured at his own clothes. “I don’t fit in.”
Steve laughed. “I wasn’t born driving a Ferrari. I’m a kid from the sticks, just like you.”
Gil shot him a “yeah, right” look. “I still don’t get it. Why are you wasting your time with me? You could have anybody.”
“You think sleeping around’ll make me happy? Because I’ve tried that, and it didn’t.”
“I’ve tried bi guys too, and you’re all the same. You want your little adventures in Gay Town, but once they’re over, you’re gone. I’m not heading down that road again.”
“I don’t blame you. Sounds like the worst vacation ever.”
Gil let out a strangled half-snort. “Stop it.”
“What’s the matter, don’t you like laughing? Because I like hearing you laugh.” Steve slid a hand onto Gil’s shoulder—and amazingly, Gil relaxed under his touch, tension slowly draining from hard muscles. His fingers toyed with the edge of Gil’s collar, combing through the ends of his soft, sleek hair. “I get the feeling you haven’t laughed nearly enough lately.”
Gil tilted his head and sighed. “You know this’ll never work, right?”
“Says who?”
“Anybody with half a brain.”
He leaned in and cupped Gil’s cheek, pulse quickening as Gil’s warm, wine-scented breath floated over his skin. “I don’t care what anybody else thinks.”
Steve Campbell used to be a player, until a mid-life crisis opened his eyes to his long-repressed love for Connor, his soon-to-be-married best friend and business partner. Coming out at thirty-eight means learning how to date all over again, and this time, Steve’s not willing to settle for empty one-night stands. He wants the real thing.
Gil Alvarez has never had it easy, struggling through childhood and rejected by his family for a body that didn’t match who he was inside. A skilled driver and mechanic, he’s working hard to make his auto shop a success. The last thing he needs is a rich white guy in a candy-apple-red Ferrari tempting him, but Steve’s ready smile and easygoing manner prove irresistible.
One brief, intimate encounter leaves them both hungry for more. Gil’s not ashamed of who he is, but he’s terrified that Steve will reject him—or worse—when he discovers what Gil can’t find the courage to tell him.
Cat Grant lives by the ocean in beautiful Monterey, California with one persnickety feline and way too many books and DVDs. When she’s not writing, you’ll probably catch her singing along to whatever’s on her iTunes, or fantasizing about kinky sex with Michael Fassbender.
Her new novella Flawless, the fourth and final book in her Irresistible Attraction series, is now available from Riptide Publishing.
