WUaS is afraid the prospective student in India who needs to start very soon is going to walk, if WUaS doesn’t get something to him soon

While CC-4 MIT OCW-centric World University and School degrees will be free to students due to the CC-4 licensing, WUaS will seek reimbursement per student per year from departments of education in all ~200 countries.

Minute 5
World Univ & Sch seeks to develop Avatar Bot Electronic Health Records and potentially in all ~200 countries' official and main languages, and then for speakers of all 7,111 known living languages, and then, conceptually, for all 7.5 billion people. i) wiki Universitians in 7,111 known living languages, and matriculated students in all ~200 countries,

As a Harvard professor for ~10 years, and with your significant knowledge and experience with Artificial Intelligence in medicine and healthcare spaces, I wonder how best to further come into communication about all of this.
I've been in touch with Stanford chairman of Medicine, Robert Harrington MD, about this in a number of ways (including meeting in person). And I wonder too, whether you know Harvard Medicine Professor Emeritus, Richard Robb MD (https://eye.hms.harvard.edu/richardrobb), who is a family friend (since I was about age 2).

Very nice to meet and talk with you this morning at SVDX. And thanks so much for your far-reaching and edifying ethics' panel! As a follow up question, I'm curious about the role of socially resopnsible index mutual funds (Vanguage FTSE, TIAA Social Choirce, Friends' Fiduciary's Quaker Index Fundetc). in shaping a culture of corporate ethics newly in recent decades, since if a company gets into these indexes (and thus all the other indexes - S&P 500, etc.), they are have made it. My question to you was how California does corporate ethics differently from the rest of the country, and especially since California Tech companies make such a large percentage of socially responsible index funds. (Being a socially responsible company, re above ethical criteria, is rewarded financially in a sense). In a way such big companies seem to define shades of grey in a new way perhaps.
I'm writing, brainstorming-wise, to inqure about your availability to join the WUaS Board - as a startup Board team even - of startup MIT OCW-centric World Univ & Sch, and the WUaS Corporation. (See more about the two amazing parallel WUaS legal entities below). Might you be available to communicate further about this, and as a team? With my mother (Janie) just having got an Ancestry.com Ancestry DNA kit for Xmas (but she didn't sign up for the Ancestry.com FamilyTrees with related impressive document search), and having gotten some documents from Edith Ethridge and possibly newly Erica Blanton (Karen Leighty's daughter both in DC), I have an ongoing series of questions about ownership of data.
First thought: Keep your own copies of your photos and documents, if you choose to engage these platforms. (The internet and machine learning change the dynamics of ownership questions here too). I appreciate WikiTree seeking to head toward Creative Commons' licensing, and also appreciate Ancestry.com's Ancestry DNA service (which seems to be somewhat leading the pack).

I searched on and found the following as well:
WikiTree just emailed this photo scan-a-thon information - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Scan-a-Thon - which may be interesting re questions of ownership of family history pictures, documents and data. More to think through - but I think the CC-licensing (like "copyright for sharing") would be more instituted in WikiTree than the proprietary licensing of Ancestry.com (for management) and re one's own personal family documents. What do you think?
And re scanning ... ownership of data questions ... and answers? You and I may have emailed some of these questions before, but I'm thinking about this a bit further too. I searched and found the following re data, WikiTree and Ancestry compared in a sense:

You can export most data through GEDCOMs, but you are correct that GEDCOMs cannot include photos. We don't have another export medium. It's highly recommended that you keep copies of everything you upload. This shouldn't be the only place you store anything.

P.S.: Your email here came when I was on a great walk out the 'ridge road' near where I live in Canyon 94516 in East Bay MUD (Municipal Utilities District) ... which is basically at least a 7 miles' long drive in green wood south from where I live to out of the 'park', (and contains Oakland's San Leandro water reservoir ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Bay_Municipal_Utility_District) ... with amazing views of the tops of mountains (like Mt Diablo) around here with NO houses or development on them due to great late urban planning. While there are no houses atop these big hills and ranges, there are big cities all around too including Lafayette, Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton ... and quite a few more ... all fairly new large cities too, and close to the rest of the SF Bay Area cities. :) ... On 18 Dec 2019, WUaS spoke with edX in Cambridge MA for 45 minutes.
Per edX let's "discuss World University becoming an edX member or using edX courses with your students as a customer—all that is open territory," and our 18 Dec 2019 conversation, WUaS would like to become a member of edX and begin to offer online edX courses as soon as January 2020 if possible please. How would this work? Would WUaS send the $500 in membership monies to edX, and receive edX course site-links (which WUaS would post here - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/English_Literature - for example), with student sign-up / matriculation info and eventual access to grades, etc. - which information WUaS could then also share with the state of California's BPPE (Bureau for Private PostSecondary Education), as WUaS begins the licensing process in the state of California?

Many great piping tunes, esp. the 'Gaelforce Wind' set, 2 tunes of which are actual piping tunes - in Open Band (Berkeley)'s Scottish Country Dancing sheet music for Monday 1/13/20 ... Glad we're playing the 'High Road to Linton' reel (again) too ... an opportunity to bring this fast reel up from 170 bpm to 220 bpm (on my metronome) ... and then apply this tempo to all SCD piping reels. Glad too re these 'discoveries' to have piped between 10 & 11pm.

At the close of getting together on Thursday, you mentioned something about a 'real identity crisis' - and with regards to getting a Real ID in California, which Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) pictures you shared with me, just as I was landing in Oakland on 2 Jan 2020. How's your identity crisis going? :) Did you get your CA REAL ID in the mail yet? Are you real?

For me Yoga is a journey each day down into my underworld not knowing what I shall find . . . . .

Is, per Angela's invitation here in poem and in courses, going into one's own 'underworld' via the body (and Yoga movement) - inner body for her - a kind of therapy as well? (It echoes the explorations of one's own 'unconscious' via free association of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis - Je préfère Lacan - but includes for me the bodymind, and what I'll call 'inner releasing actions' re meditation too )
And Victor's "Who Are We: Victor?" is interesting and touching too ... and part of their Yoga marriage teachings as well. ...

Thanks again for the brilliant blank 'Marco Polo Journal' ... appreciating the red and white wrapping paper much too ... I've written a number of pages in it already ... am calling it 'The Journeys of Scott MacLeod in an Internet World' ... where this is kind of private journal, in contrast to my blog (web log?) which is kind of public ... :) Who am I writing it for? Thought I might write it in the form of a journey like in Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings ... and for my kids. Then looked up:

1World Univ & Sch talked with edX for ~45 minutes on Wednesday, 18 December 2019, about becoming a member of edX and beginning to offer online free-to-students' Bachelor's degrees beginning as early as January 2020 in collaboration with the edX platform.

World Univ & Sch online Bachelor’s degrees would entail taking ~40 courses over 4 years. Newly, WUaS is seeking via the edX platform to make it possible for students to get a certificate for each course they take.

2World Univ & Sch is in communication with edX and the MIT Office of Digital Learning re coding for manuscripts, registration, matriculation, etc - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University. Brainstorming, how would HAI workshops work in a #RealisticVirtualHarbin I wonder? Human Awareness Institute's 'Love Sexuality and Intimacy' workshops have been central to Harbin Hot Springs since the 1970s (and in another form since the '60s with Stan Dale, I think. In my "Naked Harbin Ethnography" book, I've included my interview with Harbin's founder Ishvara in 2008 where he touches on some of this). With your and your landlord's interest in HAI workshops, and from the Washington DC area, a whole new creative dynamic could emerge in exploring them online {~ http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg ~ with Second Life conceptually, but moving toward realism}, I'd think. Thoughts?
Such online HAI workshops, or similar, and named something new perhaps, could potentially complement on-the-ground HAI workshops such as in DC (and far from Harbin), I'd think too, and possibly offer alternative cultural approaches to some of the junk that might arise with them otherwise. Appreciating the Awareness word in the HAI name re consciousness and >learning< love, sexuality and intimacy. Pretty rad idea-wise, but I don't know HAI's history or track record (in the Now) something I might seek to diverge from online somehow, but which might now be as interesting in virtual reality, as in reality ... :)

Did a Youtube search on Human Awareness Institute's 'Love Sexuality and Intimacy' workshops, as well as on Stan Dale, and found the following HAI talk and culture ... interesting language ... and re my unfolding actual-virtual Harbin Hot Springs' ethnographic project, esp ... HAI seems to have taken sex education from the 1960s forward to a degree of sophistication ... and California's Harbin culture seems to support and inform this.

(am not sure why! ... sex trade questions come to mind ... and re ethics' questions ... ) Yet HAI seems too to create a culture of hope and potentiality around powerful emotions and experiences of love, intimacy and sexuality ... what an interesting cultural creation ... and how will HAI develop after the Harbin valley fire of September 2015, and at Harbin, other places around the world ... but especially online?

I'm writing to inquire in what ways World University and School might best offer MIT OCW-centric courses (ocw.mit.edu and https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/) from, or via, edX (edX.org) in WUaS's 6 majors - worlduniversitandschool.org - beginning now in January 2020 (for Shahbaz Sanjer at WUaS for a free-to-students' CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Bachelor's degree in English) and especially in the autumn of 2020, potentially with 500-2000 WUaS online students, in English, as WUaS begins licensing with the state of California's BPPE? WUaS students would take these courses in 'The College at WUaS' - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School - and from related academic wiki subject pages - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects. And WUaS would seek to begin our first Ph.D. class the following year - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Ph.D._Degrees_at_World_University_and_School (also with regards to BPPE licensing) - and also CC-4 MIT OCW-centric (perhaps in all ~32 departments there). So would membership with edX, and getting edX course-specific links, with student registration information, that WUaS could add to our wiki pages and course catalog be the best way to proceed?. And how, for example, to chart out a 4 year online English Bachelor's degree for Shahbaz from CC-4 MIT OCW and via edX?
With regards to edX and sustainability, and the Pi digital cryptocurrency in this email thread (and Mine Pi too - https://youtu.be/MsOaC61cR3U - which cyrpto-currency is designed to be mineable by end users - eg for UBI experiments?), WUaS seeks to code our platform for our incoming matriculating students - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University - and plan too potentially for matriculating students in all ~200 countries in their official and main languages, and plan also for WUaS wiki Universitans as speakers of each of all 7,111 known living languages - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Languages - and as teachers and learners in these related WUaS wiki schools (and then potentially for all 7.5 billion people, brainstorming-wise, - and explore even Universal Basic Income experiments to alleviate poverty, in all ~200 countries' languages, but also to distribute a single digital currency backed somehow by some number of ~200 countries' central banks). How WUaS would code the WUaS platform for our students, and who take WUaS courses via the edX platform, may be something we could explore coding together in these regards. This may involve communicating further with Wikidata / Wikibase (ie Lydia above) too for both the WUaS wiki platform, and all 7.5 billion people a Wikidata Q-item # (or PIN# - personal identification number based in Wikidata).

While WUaS may be able to become a member at edX, and link MIT OCW edX classes at WUaS - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School (and https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Ph.D._Degrees_at_World_University_and_School) I wonder if the 2nd part my email about You at WUaS for matriculating students, and the Pi digital currency re UBI experiments even, to Anant Agarwal, edX CEO and Professor of EECS at MIT - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/01/mud-volcano-breakthrough-edx-platform.html (on W 8 Jan 2020) - might involve deliberation among a significant number of people at MIT and edX and it may take some time to hear back from them.
Am curious to explore developing further WUaSx to create World Univ & Sch's own courses perhaps from the open.edX platform ... e.g. graduate students teaching courses in many languages ...
Sounds like (from Charlene at Covered California health ins. exchange) I have Medical forms coming in the mail, - but that I may be able to get into Kaiser Permanente through Medical, depending on income (federally checked) ...

World Univ & Sch seems to have had a breakthrough with regards to edX collaboration potential - to offer MIT OCW into MITx courses, and in many languages, via the edX platform for WUaS degrees - after a 45 minute call with edX on Wednesday, 18 Dec 2020 - and a recent email to Anant Agarwal, CEO of edX and Professor of EECS at MIT. In this regard, I've inquired with Anant about beginning the WUaS Bachelor's degree program as early as this January 2020 per your request, Sanjay.
