Only Congress Can Declare War on Russia

Is the U.S. Constitution Still Valid? To Prevent Unnecessary War with Russia, We Better Hope So – At a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, President Joe Biden was asked what the United States would do if Russia used prohibited weapons in Ukraine. “We would respond,” Biden replied. Russia’s use of chemical weapons would “trigger a response in kind.” What was not asked, however, is a far more important question: what would the United States Congress do, as no American president has the constitutional authority to take actions that could plunge America into full-scale war – especially a war that could result in American cities being destroyed in a nuclear exchange. The question, by all rights, shouldn’t even be asked of the president. It should be directed to Congressional leaders. The U.S. Constitution is explicit and unequivocal that the power to declare war lies exclusively with Congress. It is both telling and troubling that Biden’s response generated no follow-up questions by the press nor expressions of outrage or overreach in the mainstream media following Biden’s statements. Because U.S. presidents have so frequently ignored the Constitution’s requirements and taken military action on their own authority, th …

China: Russia Feels ‘Cornered’ by NATO

BEIJING (AP) – China’s ambassador to the U.S. says that of all parties concerned in the Ukraine, only China has Russia’s ear.
Qin Gang’s comments to the Phoenix Television channel, which has close ties with China’s ruling Communist Party, come as Beijing’s tacit support for Moscow is receiving increasing scrutiny from Washington and others.
China has refused to criticize Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, or even refer to it as such. It has also vigorously opposed punishing economic sanctions imposed on Moscow by the West.
Qin said China was uniquely positioned to help peacefully resolve what he called “the crisis.”

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng complained “NATO has kept strengthening and expanding, and intervened militarily in countries like Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan” since the end of the Cold War https://t.co/T7klJnHTuB

Pelosi Forces GOP Congressman To Suddenly Resign

Republican Representative Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska announced his resignation from the U. S. House of Representatives on Saturday.

The Associated Press reported that Fortenberry’s resignation came in response to a California jury convicting him of lying to federal authorities about an illegal campaign donation he received from a foreign national.

“It has been my honor to serve you in the United States House of Representatives,” Fortenberry said in a letter to his constituents. “Due to the difficulties of my current circumstances, I can no longer effectively serve.”

Fortenberry’s resignation letter featured a poem closely associated with Mother Teresa titled “Do It Anyway.”

It said, “What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyways.”

Fortenberry’s decision to resign from congress followed front from political leaders in Nebraska and Washington coercing him to step down. Both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy encouraged him to resign.

NFTs are past their prime

Sales of NFTs, one of 2021’s biggest investment crazes, are but a fraction of what they were at last year’s peak. The big picture: Despite the present doldrums, the market for non-fungible tokens — digital objects built to be provably unique — is very likely here to stay. But it will probably go through several more rounds of hype and disillusionment. The basic idea of a completely unique crypto token continues to evolve — for instance, Uniswap, a decentralized crypto exchange, uses NFTs to track liquidity providers’ positions. In other words, it’s not “just a JPEG.“And the two leading NFT marketplaces, OpenSea and LooksRare, are still typically earning between $1.5 and $2 million a day each in fees, according to Token Terminal. The bottom line: Business is down but definitely not out.For more from Brady Dale on all things crypto, sign up for the upcoming Axios Crypto newsletter! …

Hunter’s Laptops Now National Security Threat

On Friday, The Daily Mail reported that emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s laptop show he helped an infectious disease research company pursue projects in Ukraine. Those emails confirm portions of charges Russia made the previous day that an investment group run by the now-president’s son had funded a company conducting research at biological laboratories in Ukraine.

While these developments add another scandal to the long list of Biden family dirty laundry, the more urgent concern for the country should be the continuing threat to our national security posed by a compromised President Biden and the possibility that Russia has access to the catalog of compromising material contained on Hunter’s laptop.

Mere weeks before then-President Donald Trump and Joe Biden faced off in the November 2020 presidential election, The New York Post published emails obtained from a laptop Hunter Biden had abandoned at a repair shop in Delaware. Those emails revealed that during the elder Biden’s time as Barack Obama’s vice president, Hunter engaged in a pay-to-play scandal, trading off his father’s position to strike deals with play …

Bezos’s ex $275M to Planned Parenthood

MacKenzie Scott, the billionaire ex-wife to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated a record-breaking sum to Planned Parenthood, the organization revealed Wednesday.
Scott’s $275 million donation is the largest ever received from a single donor in Planned Parenthood’s history, which called it “unprecedented” and “extraordinary.”

In a Wednesday statement, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson said, “We are incredibly grateful for Ms. Scott’s extraordinary philanthropic investment in Planned Parenthood, as a critical part of the public health infrastructure.”
She added: “As we face the most serious attacks on access to reproductive health care that we’ve seen in a generation, we know this moment requires us to be innovative and to double down on our efforts to ensure everyone has equitable access to health care, including abortion.”
Johnson said that black women “will be most hurt by the loss of abortion access in the South and Midwest” while discussing “efforts to advance health equity by eliminating racial and structural barriers for our patients” and the launch of the “Black Health Equity Initiative.”

Disney hates DeSantis’ parental bill

Lower taxes make the Sunshine State more attractive for businesses than many blue states, says Jimmy Patronis, chief financial officer of Florida. The Walt Disney Company is an American industrial titan with a loud voice the company has used to campaign against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ parental rights bill. As loud as they are against a state policy they disagree with, Disney has been silent about the ongoing Uyghur Muslim genocide in China — even as they film movies there.Fox Business reached out to Disney asking why it appears they are more vocal in speaking out on the DeSantis-backed bill than the literal genocide going on in China, and if the company would condemn the ethnic cleansing.DISNEY’S LEFT-WING ACTIVISM CREATES ‘ENVIRONMENT OF FEAR’ THAT IS ‘DAMAGING MORALE,’ SOME WORKERS SAY Florida Gov. False Border ‘whipping’ Probe still going, 6 mos

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!
The investigation into Border Patrol agents at the center of claims that they “whipped” Haitian migrants trying to illegally enter the United States is still ongoing, six months after the claims were made and quickly debunked. The controversy began amid the Haitian migrant crisis in Del Rio in September, where more than 10,000 migrants were gathered underneath the area’s International Bridge. As the situation worsened, agents were sent out on horseback.BORDER PATROL STUNNED AS BIDEN GOES TO WAR WITH HIS OWN AGENTS OVER FALSE ‘WHIPPING’ ALLEGATIONSBrandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News Digital in an interview that the situation on the ground in Del Rio was a “powder keg” as migrants had just discovered that they were in fact likely to be removed rather than allowed into the U.S.“These agents were specifically sent to that location to stop more people from crossing, that was what they were sent there to do,” Judd said. “This was under the orders of their management which of course is under the control of Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas.“On Sept. 19, a Sunday, images began to circulate on Twitter of the agents trying …
