Workers erected a large fence around the U.S. Supreme Court building late Wednesday night, two days after Politico published a leaked draft opinion striking down the abortion precedent Roe v. Wade (1973). The same night, Justice Samuel Alito, the author of the draft, canceled a public appearance.Work crews erected “tall, non-scalable fencing” around the Court, as Fox 5’s Lindsay Watts put it.Alito scrapped plans to participate in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals judicial conference, which is slated to begin Thursday. He canceled the appearance for reasons that have not been disclosed, Reuters reported. This is a direct and profound violation of the right to privacy in “persons, houses, papers, and effects” guaranteed by the Fourth Amendment.
For the past 60 years, the Supreme Court has characterized electronic surveillance as a search that can only be conducted pursuant to a warrant issued by a judge based on probable cause of crime, which itself must be presented under oath to the judge. Left-wing activist groups are planning to send protesters to the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices following a leak indicating the court may soon overturn Roe v. Wade.The activists are organizing under the moniker “Ruth Sent Us” and have published the supposed home addresses of Justices Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch.“Our 6–3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,” the group’s website reads. “We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.”

The Democrat Party in 2020 subjected the United States to a truly grave disservice by hiding from the American electorate candidate Joe Biden’s cognitive decline. The question now is, can the damage to the country be contained; a predicament we have not faced for more than a century, if ever.There were telltale signs of Biden’s slips during the last campaign, but as a candidate he still did well enough in the debates (where the bar has become increasingly low) and in his limited public appearances, such that it seemed he had enough left in the tank to get through at least one term. In hindsight, it is clear he was already running on fumes.It is no secret that the emotional and physical stress of the presidency will rapidly age whoever occupies the office, regardless of how young or old he or she may be. Texas town at center of border crisis hasn’t heard from Biden team, mayor says

EAGLE PASS, Texas — The mayor of the small Texas town at the center of the migration crisis says he has yet to hear from the Biden administration about its plans for ending the border policy known as Title 42, despite the government’s claim that it is working with local officials.
“Nobody has reached out to me or to the city. I haven’t heard from anyone,” said Eagle Pass Mayor Rolando Salinas.
“I wish our federal government stepped up even a little more just to give us some direction, or I would like to hear a plan as to what they’re doing to counter the possibility of a surge in people on the border. I think we deserve that — as border mayors, as people living in the United States — an explanation,” said Salinas, who began his first term last year.
