Men-An-Tol

This is what happens when cattle are allowed to using Men-An-Tol as rubbing a post. Fancy a visit? No me neither.. A holed stone thought to be the remains of a stone circle. The suspicion is that the holed stone is the remains of a Neolithic tomb, primarily because holed stones have been found in conjunction with the entrances to burial chambers.

Croazou chapel

See also the page for Croazou chapel menhir in our Nearby Sites list. This is an odd little place in Finistère, where many thousands of years of ritual and worship can all be seen together, from a 6000 year old menhir, through an Iron Age stèle, medieval crosses to a more recent chapel, built on an old one of course.
