Cromeleque do Monte das Fontaínhas Velhas
Re-erected in recent years, there is a video of this in the Mora centre. There is a single large stone almost 4 metres tall standing in a part circle of half a dozen smoothed and rounded smaller stones. Just nearby across the track is a further smaller stone, and approx a hundred metres distant to the northeast is a further outlier.

Dinas Bran
Dramatically situated high on the hill that overlooks Llangollen, Dinas Bran must be one of the most romantic and magical places in Britain. In song and story it is the castle of the Holy Grail! Although the stone ruin of Castell Dinas Bran is medieval, it stands on the site of an ancient Iron-Age hill-fort, the ditch and earth banks that enclose the southern and eastern parts of the fortress date to the this period.

High Cross (Teampall Bhreacain)
See the nearby sites list on this page for many more sites on Inishmore Island such as Dún Aengus, Clochan na Carraige and Dún Eochla but here is a new page of the remnants of this high cross. A fallen and broken carved high cross on Inishmore Island, off the coast of Galway. The base of the cross still stands, the rest is in pieces in front of the standing section. Unfortunately it is very grown over and somewhat difficult to access.

Hunt House Road Standing Stone
Marked as a standing stone on the OS map but in reality is only a fairly modern waymarker. It stands at the south east corner of the junction between the Goathland road and the road that leads to Hunt House, North Yorkshire.

Llangors Crannog
The site of the only known crannog in Wales. A dug-out canoe found some 400 metres from the site and now in Brecknock Museum has been radio carbon dated to between 760 AD and 1020 AD suggesting an age for the site. There is a reconstructed crannog house created on an island some 70 metres from the original crannog which has display panels and a replica of the canoe.
