Archaelogical Museum Gedong Arca
The Archaeological museum of Gedong Arca is a little museum with archaeological artifacts from Bali. Of special interest for the megalithic period is the extensive outdoor collection of sarcophagi found in Bali. Little information is provided, but since the museum is quite close to the more famous sites around Ubud it is a worthwhile stop for someone keen to learn about the Balinese ancient history. No entrance fee is needed and you might find an enthusiastic member of staff to explain the artifacts.

Pura Batu Pageh
In the hustle-and-bustle of the Nusa Dua Peninsular, Indonesia there are still some nice cultural gems hidden. The Batu Pageh temple is one of them, located within the cliffs overseeing the Green bowl beach, one of the small beaches that are not so much frequented by tourists. You have to go down steep steps to reach the beach. On the beach is a cave where several rocks which are still worshipped. Even more interesting is the actual temple half way in the cliff (the official path is via the temple on top of the cliff).
