5 Ways To Dispose Old Books
[image error]I recently came up with a post on instagram by a certain European in which there was a room in which piles of books were lying clumsily. The caption read," Indians are uneducated people. They don't value education. They just sell their old books in kilos."
Some of you might gather to criticize the government policies as well as ignorance of some citizens lacking civil sense. But let me tell you. If you sell your old books to a raddi walah, you're not a good citizen either. Yes, you can sell old stuff and newspapers to them but books are not worth it.Books signify knowledge. When I visit someone's home. If he/she has a good collection of books, I really love that person. You might ask that if you aren't a bibliophile and want to dispose your old books, what should you do. I've got some options for you.1. Donate To Someone In Need.Donating your books to someone in need is the best thing you can do with your old books. If you give your book to a raddi walah, he will first of all think of his profit. Yes, he will resell those books.Once, my dad subscribed to a magazine on the trends in medicine (he's a doctor). That magazine was too expensive. After the editions got old, we used to sell them to kabadi in kilos. Once, one of the dad's compounders wanted that book. At that time, we didn't have any. He finally bought one from the same raddi walah at 100 bucks to whom we sold at 11 rupee/kilo.Even if the raddi walah, doesn't resell, he would transfer it to a paper factory, where those books will be compressed and for each book that is compressed, one child would be deprived from his right to education. So it's better to donate your books to any needy person.2. Donate To Library.I've practiced this step and it really satisfies. You can accumulate some punyas in your account. Charity is a boon.I had a number of old books which were occupying too much space in my house. They were coursebooks, of course, so I didn't need them now. I donated them in my school library. Now I feel happy that many children will get to read them.3.ResellYou can accumulate a big deal of money by selling your old books. In this way, your books don't break the cycle of supply. In offline shops, second hand books can be bought at half price, so if as individuals we wish to sell our books, we ought to sell them at a rate between half and fourth of the price.4.StockA deal can be ensured between people to secure the books. Like sharing of books between friends. Many often I've used the books of my cousins and siblings.5.Creative ProjectsMany of my ideas might sound hyperbolic to you, so I suggest you one easy solution. In many books you'll be able to find pictures for your projects. This will save your money of printing or buying stickers or cutouts.
Do you have any other tip you use to dispose your old books? share in the comments below.

8 Ways Doing Art Helped Me.
I love colours and I love colouring too. In recent days, I've made a comeback to the art. My exit from art also has a great story behind.
When I was in UKG, my parents got me a 365 paged colouring book which hasn't filled till date.In childhood I used to draw horrible portraits of children.I got the second prize in an art competition by ING Bank and consolation prize in one by BVP.
Note- All these pictures are clicked using Samsung J8. You can buy it from Amazon. What Is The Reason That I Acquitted Art?In school, stress was laid on imitating the sketches and portraits drawn by the art teacher on the blackboard. There was no scope of creativity. There was a rat race of standing upto the standards, of being the best.To me, this feeling is not artistic. My art teacher rejected my entry for a rubber ball designing competition calling it 'childish' but what I realise is that Art is all about initiative and creativity which she violated.
8 Ways Doing Art Helped Me.1. No Rat Race Of Being The Best.I'm literally tired of running in this rat race of showing the best, being the best. Nobody's perfect. Even when you've won one race there's another. With the art which I make, I'm completely satisfied with what I make. It is unprofessional, but beautiful.
2. Ideas Are My Own.I don't have to imitate what my art teacher has drawn on the black board. I express my emotions. I let my mind free to seek inspiration. You know where my ideas come from? They come while I'm studying, when I get stuck on any topic, my hands involuntarily start scribbling on the notebook. I've started fairing these designs.
3. No Pressure From Art Teacher.Art doesn't come from the edge of a stick or from the fear of punishment. Art is worth loving but not from any point of view of following standards. Every artist has his own ideas and creativity.
4. Helps Me Avoid My Afternoon Sleeps.I really feel very sleepy during afternoon. When I start studying from the morning, my mind really gets tired by noon.Earlier I used to sleep for an hour or two but I recently read that it's bad for our health. So I opted for Art and I've seen that I sleep straightly at night without sleeping in afternoons.
5. Managing Stress And Boosting Creativity.Art helps me face the stress I encounter while studying. Also it doesn't let my sparks fade. I get new ideas and make use of them. I relive my childhood.
6. Takes Just 10 Minutes. The designs I make are simple and take just ten minutes. I use crayons which are compact and convenient.7. Nice Background For Other Images. When I click pictures of important objects or articles, these pictures act as nice background.8. Making A Photo Stock.Sometimes I feel like I've nothing to post on instagram or for my blog headers. There I'm able to use my art.
When I was in UKG, my parents got me a 365 paged colouring book which hasn't filled till date.In childhood I used to draw horrible portraits of children.I got the second prize in an art competition by ING Bank and consolation prize in one by BVP.

Some Practical Teachers' Day Ideas Tried By Me
Teachers' Day is observed on 5th September every year. Massive celebration takes places in schools and colleges. This day is celebrated to honor the teachers and show the gratitude to them. Let me tell you how we celebrated the teachers' day in our school.
Dressed as TeachersSince I'm in twelfth class, in our school, twelfth class students are supposed to be dressed as teachers. I too dressed myself like a teacher and went to school.Insights Of My Personal Style.I wore a Arrow's white shirt, Timex's watch, Monte Carlo's trousers and Woodland's shoes. They all made be look like a complete man.I cannot share with you the pictures of the entire event as phones weren't allowed inside the campus..
Experience With Students.I was allotted class 10th A to manage. One student from another section was also with me in the same class.I started with their introduction. But I stated that their introduction should follow the given format.Name Of The Student.HobbiesThe Stream they're going to opt for after class 10th.Their favorite social media personality. What they felt about their school. What they felt about their city. The answers of the questions 1, 2 and 4 were given very well by the students. Though some students perceived it as a one-word answer questionnaire , it was meant as a structure for composing a paragraph to enable the students introduce them better. Now Let me share with you the answers they gave for the remaining questions. The Stream They're Going To Opt For After Class 10th.Many students didn't have an accurate answer to this question. Some hadn't decided till then. Only a handful of students were confident about whether they were going to take either science or commerce. When I asked the students why they chose commerce, they simply said they didn't like science that's why. Some said that they're going to opt for science because they didn't like commerce.I explained to them that one should be passionate about the stream he chooses, no stream is a second option. What They Felt About Their School. Many students answered vigorously till question 4 but their spirit faded once they reached question 5th. Many students called their own school loser. Some even used the words like 'crap', 'dustbin', 'misery' etc.I explained to them that our school is the only english medium school of the district which maintains an english speaking standard.I further told them that in other schools of the district, children are told to cram two essays and either of them comes in the exams. But in our school, students are taught to write by themselves from third class itself. Our school fosters manifestation of ideas.I told them about my experience about visiting the government district library and how rude the librarian was. Their librarian didn't have any record on the number of books. I told them that our school library has twenty thousand books which is quite a large number on account of any school library. What They Felt About Their City. Many children called this city 'the crime city' but I told them that if they look on the data of previous years there is less number of criminal activities than rumored. Muzaffarnagar is known as sugar bowl of India. It's Gud Mandi is the largest in Asia and the jaggery is exported to all over the world.Muzaffarnagar is also the origin point of Bhagwat Puran. Read this blogpost to know more about this.Even if you leave the other points, how can you call your home a crime city?

4 Ways We Celebrated A Happy Raksha Bandhan
Disclaimer-This site uses affiliate links. But only those links are used for the products I personally approve of.
Raksha Bandhan is the festival of bonding between brothers and sisters. The spirit of celebrating festivals has underwent a significant change within the past 50 years. Now, more than love or affection, money plays the role; to which I disagree with.
Here are the 4 Ways We Celebrated A Happy Raksha Bandhan.
1. Visited The Second Sister at Her Hostel. We made a visit to the second sister, Shreya Sangal who is currently studying in Greater Noida.
My Eldest Sister, Palak Di, Tying rakhi on my wrist. We didn't pay attention to the decor of the place, you can see the environment. Both of my sisters tied the Rakhis around my wrist in the warden's compartment, which was the biggest icon of simplicity.2. We Promoted Simple Rakhis. When you buy costly rakhis, you find them very heavy which are intolerable for your wrist to work with. Soon you discard them within a few days. If you promote the purchase of simple rakhis, you save money and those rakhis stay longer on your wrists.

3. We Didn't Make Moments To Click, We clicked the moments.Nowadays, many people have made their lives picture oriented. They do everything to make their pictures to stand out on instagram. They do everything just to click pictures and upload them.
If we make moments and thenrecord them, we've got a benefit. Candid pictures are praised the best. Also when you get pictures clicked doing what you're really enjoying, happiness is expressed through your eyes.

Some people fill their plates even with what they don't need. As a result, that food gets wasted. This Raksha Bandhan we dined simply but sufficiently.
The dining table at home laid up very well.We also visited Bikanerwala Restaurent in Greater Noida for breakfast as well as The Cheetal Grand , Khatauli for Lunch.
It was a serene experience at Bikanerwala, Greater Noida.

6 Substitutes For Cereals To Consume During Fasts.
The Hindi month of Saawan is going on. This is the season of showing devotion to Lord Shiv, playing on swings, drenching oneself in the rain and fasting. This fasting/upwas/vrat is done by people of almost all the age groups, especially in India and other countries with a significant Hindu population. However the type of fasts vary from person to person. Some people prefer fasting on monday only; some prefer the entire saawan; while the types of fasts also vary.
On Shivratri, I uploaded a series of stories asking my followers if they knew about the food items specific to fasts. Many of them didn't even know. This inspired me to share this as my blogpost.
The diet I'm discussing for fasts is basically for people who're opting for Phalahaar, a diet which consists of fruits and their products.
6 Substitutes For Cereals To consume During Fasts.
1. Tapioca (साबूदाना /sabudana)This product is derived from the sap of the root of the cassava plant which is solidified and then shaped into small spherical balls. People fry them to make chips, papads and khichdi from this.
2. Trapa/Chestnut (सिंघाड़ा/singhada)It's a fruit which grows in water. Some species grow in the same way like weeds and mushrooms but nowadays people have started raising living by growing them. Chestnut is of two kinds - Soft and Ripe. The soft chestnut is tasteless but has a fruity flavor which is usually eaten raw.The ripe chestnut is also tasteless but it doesn't have the fruity flavor. It's is boiled and consumed with lemon juice, chillies, spices and other condiments( just like you consume sweet corn).Chestnut is also dried and powdered to make flour. It is used as a binding agent in cutlets, rotis etc.
3. Barnyard Millet (सामक के चावल/samak ke chawal)This species is basically a weed which grows along with the rice crop. The seeds of this crop are identical to rice grains, though smaller, in flavour. They're thus used in place of rice during fasting days. They're also used to make kheer.
4. Buckwheat (कुट्टू /kuttu)This is a plant cultivated because it yields seeds which are similar to grains but differ in grain like properties. China and Russia have topped in the production of this commodity as buckwheat provides warmth after consumption.
5. Amaranth(राजगीरा/चौलाई/rajgira/chaulai)This plant yields seeds which have a high quantity of starch. Not only seeds but leaves of the plants are also used. Several curries are made from the leaves. Sweets like laddoos can be made from the grains. They even help in losing weight.
6. Foxnut(मखाना/makhana )These nuts are derived after roasting the seeds of lotus flower. They provide many nutrients and are tasty too. Some myths related to keeping fasts.1. You can consume tea while fasting.I've seen a number of people consuming tea while fasting. But let me tell you, it's prohibited to consume fermented foods while fasting. So you can't consume tea, coffee, chocolate or anything that is fermented.2. Keeping Phalaahar Fast is easy.Keeping Phalaahar fast is not easy. In hinduism, people are free to choose the kinds of fasts they keep. If they keep phalaahar, it's their decision. You can't point them out.

The Dark Side Of Forgiveness You Must Consider.

One of the biggest controversies among personality development gurus is about the phenomenon of 'Forgiveness'. Everything's fine with it except a few points of caution, ignoring which can make a person regret.
Some well-known postulates in favor of forgiveness are-
It helps to move on.it de-clutters your mind.Stop! It's not over yet. You need to consider the whole scenario. First of all we must consider the dark side of these two postulates before we move on.
1.It Helps To Move On.The culprit has turned you into a victim of circumstances. He has set up a fear deep in your subconscious mind. Whatever stays in your subconscious mind is going to chase you for a long time. Your peace of mind lies above all.Even after you forgive anyone, the incident is in your mind. Even if you forget, your subconscious mind is not going to forget it. Are you ready to forgive someone for such a HUGE mistake?2. It Declutters your Mind. When you know that the incident and it's consequences caused by a culprit are still in your mind and will remain even after you'll have forgiven him, the policy of forgiveness is therefore impractical. It's better said that done. Here, my purpose is not to inculcate in you the abstract graceful ethics (which may be orthodox and difficult to comply with sometimes) but to introduce you with some compatible tactics that might help you with solving your day to day problems.

The Biggest Difference Between Blog And Website That Is Not Understood By Readers.

But blogging is a wide concept. Today I needed to discuss the difference between a blog and a website; the reason behind is not that I wish to prove myself superior, but to erase a myth. Sometimes the myth creators get so confident that the truth seekers begin to doubt themselves.
What Is A Blog?A Blog is a website that is regularly updated with small modular webpages (blogposts). It is generally not static as it keeps on being updated by the operator (or referred to as blogger nowadays). What Is A Website?A website is a page on web which displays some information. Difference Analogy Between A Blog And Website.Every blog is a website and that's certain; but it's not necessary that every website is a blog too.If a website is regularly updated with relevant content through blogposts, it is a blog.Website is of two types- Static and Blog.Static Website is that website that displays only one webpage. This is used by different people who don't wish to upload regular content.Blogging Website is that website that is regularly updated with modular content or blogposts.Hilarious Assumptions By People.1. Blog Is Always Personal. Some people suppose that blogs are only those webpages in which people share their personal experiences. But the assumption is unfortunately wrong.

I hope you liked today's content ( though it was rather short). If you still have any queries you can comment below. You can also subscribe.

17 Tactics That Made Doraemon So Popular

Doraemon is my favorite cartoon. Not only mine, this is the cartoon which I believe has influenced nearly the child of nearly every age and income group as well as of different generations. I used to watch it when I was in fifth standard (nine years old). Now my distant nephews like to watch it. Even the grandchildren of our housemaid like to watch it too.
It is unbelievable that Doraemon which made it's debut appearance through the means of comics illustrated by a Japanese man, Fujiko went viral across the world in 1970s, a period during which the people didn't even know about the term 'Internet'.What has made Doraemon so popular? I've carried out a small research at my level and I'm sharing those 17 tactics which the producers might have used.

1. Emotional Connectivity With Children.Children are sensitive. They generally get connected with anything which touches their emotions. The producers have targeted the entire audience of children. They provided the clean content regardless of place and time.2. Nobita's Attraction To Shizuka. Most of the children whether they tell or describe or not have some feelings external to friendship with someone. So when they saw Nobita flirting with Shizuka, they found their stories of life parallel to him.3. Rivalry Between Nobita and Degi Sugi.Shizuka used to befriend with Degi Sugi, which used to make Nobita envious of him. 4. Degi Sugi, The Studious ChildEveryone of us have a classmate who is very good at studies and generally has a withdrawal from other activities. Children like befriending them with mean ends. Such was the case of Degi Sugi. Seeing the condition, even studious children who don't like watching cartoons, love watching it.5. Obstentatious SunioObstentatiousness or showy nature is the problem of every generation, from children to uncles. This nature of some children is showcased by Sunio Monikava. He has too many uncles who send him expensive gifts. His dad is a rich estate owner who affords to take his family to abroad excursions. His mother is an enthusiast of shopping clothes and jewelry. He himself has a passion of meeting celebrities. Of these achievements, he boasts heavily.Don't you feel irritated when someone constantly talks about his wealth. The character was included in Doraemon so that children who hate this kind of people can feel pity after watching the episode.6. Gian, The BullyNo matter, which country do we live in; in every school, there is a bully. Bully is often flattered by a weak but cunning person. The character of bully is played by Gian Goda and the flaterer is Sunio. They both tease Nobita extensively.7. Nobita, The Dull ChildAll of us have some classmates who are not so good at studies and are often teased by everyone. They constantly feel themselves as load on earth. The character is played by Nobita.8. Doraemon, a Cat RobotThe lead role of the cartoon episodes is Doraemon , who is a male cat robot. this can be quite hypothetical. But imagining this 1970s is really a applaudable task.
