4 Techniques To Get On The Explore Page On Instagram

4 Techniques to Get On The Explore Page On Instagram. Have you ever wondered why and how some of the pictures are arranged and presented to you through the explore page. Actually this is a big tool which you can use to get a large number of likes and followers on your profile. So, come on! let's know 4 Techniques to Get On The Explore Page On Instagram. 4 Techniques to Get On The Explore Page On Instagram 4 Techniques to Get On The Explore Page On Instagram. Shiv Sangal You might get to read the following clauses under the pictures on the explore page. Let's know, what they actually mean.1. Based On People You Follow. When you follow any person, all the public accounts followed by the person are displayed on your explore page. This enables you to do one thing. If you follow several accounts of similar niches, some more accounts of the similar niches will follow you up. Do you know, why? Yes, Just because of explore page. This also means that if you upload any picture after tagging some accounts with greater engagement like that of public figures, feature accounts, magazines etc., then you are more likely to get greater engagement. As the picture will appear in the explore page of those people who have followed that certain account which you've tagged.2. Based On Pictures You Like. Angelo Carlucci Open up any hashtag of your wish and like as many pictures as you can. Then, go to the explore page and refresh. What do you see? You see that some more pictures of that hashtag are displayed on your profile's explore page.
By this way, If you like certain pictures then accounts related to that hashtag will get to see your picture. You must also follow some hashtags which you use more often.
3. Similar To Accounts You Interact With. menlifehairstyles You feel that you've visited any account without following and escaped without letting anyone know. But instagram knows everything. When you visit any account and  escape without following, then Instagram crowds your explore feed with the different pictures of the person's feed, pictures on which he may be tagged, pictures resembling him, pictures from hashtags he has used and the pictures from the accounts he has tagged. The way you can use this trick is tagging a lot of account (the limit being 20), Using a lot of hashtags (maximum 30).Similarly if a number of your followings are following or tagging someone in their pictures then he'll be displayed in your explore feed too.4. Based On Posts You Saved. kosta williams When you save a number of pictures, some similar pictures gather up in your feed . You too can use this trick by getting a number of people by saving your post. Then the chances are there, that your picture will appear with the keyword which is the most prominently used in naming the collection. You can start this with people you know.Summing It Up.Summing it up, let's get the four points in a nutshell. First of all, Follow some people who get a large number of likes and followers daily. Turn your account public. Like more pictures of your niche so that your pictures may also appear in other people's feed. Comment to get noticed. Tag those hashtags and accounts to get greater engagement. Use locations in your posts by which people can get the insights of nearby users or any account which might be popular in their area. Get as many people to save your pictures.Follow me on instagram @shiv_sangal.

11 Creative Little Ways To Spark Your Personality On Instagram...

Instagram, dslr, shiv sangal, blogging, personality Instagram has emerged as a platform in the global scenario which has given different people an opportunity to share their voices. Be it fortunate or unfortunate, this has become a rat race to be on the top. So in order to influence or to simply acquire the stake in this era of social network, one has to maintain the way he sparks his personality on instagram.
Today I'm discussing 11 Creative Little Ways By Which One Can Spark His Personality On Instagram.
11 Creative Little Ways To Spark Your Personality At very first instance,I want to make it clear that it's not necessary that if you follow these steps, you can get thousands of likes or followers. But I can assure you that these steps can create an atmosphere of getting greater engagement. Shiv Sangal, blogging, instagram, personality. 1. Look At Your Profile PictureYour Instagram Profile picture is your first impression. As you may know that first impression is the last impression. Even when a person hasn't even peeped into your profile, he is able to see your profile picture. So if your profile picture is of good quality, then you'll be able to invite many people to your profile.Profile Picture Tips1. No Wallpaper Please.Excuse me. Your profile picture is to let you showcase yourself about how you look and whether they've found the right match. If you display a picture of any celebrity, so how will any person identify that it's you?2. Closeup Please.Unlike Facebook, you can't open a person's profile picture, so make sure that the picture you select for your profile is a closeup. This would enable a person to identify you clearly.2. Revise Your BioYour Instagram Bio is equally important as is your profile picture. For this, I'd like to say that your bio needs to be a summary of what you'd write in your bio-sketch. DontsNo casteism please.Don't mention your birth date.Don't mention your relationship status.DosAdd a link, if any in your bio.Make it creative by adding some emojis.A new feature lets you tag accounts and hashtags in your bio.3. Convert To a Business ProfileYou can convert your personal account to a business account by connecting to a facebook page. This process has many benefits, as it may give a professional look to your profile.4. Look At Your Captions Captions are really important for your pictures as well as your instagram profile. Some people omit this column. But it's a natural human tendency of curiosity to get to know about events. When they see your pictures, they may feel the urge to know, where was this picture taken, what are you trying to convey? By adding the captions, you can quench their curiosities. We've already discussed about the topic in the previous post .See This-11 ways to capture and upload the best insta-kind selfies.5. Ratio Of Your Pictures with FollowersBeing on Instagram doesn't mean that you need to post a lot of pictures. It can create panic on your feed. Instead, you need to post only selected pictures. When I signed up on instagram for the first time, I had a goal that on every picture i had to gain 10 followers. It might sound funny, but it is actually working. Today, actually on average, I have approx 25 followers per post. shiv sangal, blogging, instagram, personality 6. Preferring over Public or Private Accounts.Although public accounts usually outshine private accounts when the case comes over popularity, yet it's not true that private accounts can't be famous. I've seen several influencers whose accounts are private. For e.g. @keshav, @waynechang etc. It's your own wish. But I'd like to suggest the private account holders to embrace at least the first three steps as they can even excite people to send you a following request. Inspite of this, they also need to follows other steps I'm discussing.7. Walking Through NichePictures of Assorted Niches are a fuss. Too many cooks, spoil the broth. You need to stick to your niche. Identify your specialization. Initially, this step can be boring to you. This boringness can be lethal. To overcome this, you can start with two or three topics. This would prove to be more interesting.8. Maintain Your StandardPost high quality pictures. No matter, whether you've a big camera or a phone. Post your best. What people want at first is a fusion of your creativity and personality; The second place being taken by quality.9. Archiving/ Deleting Old PicturesI've seen several accounts which started in 2014 or before. Their latest picture are really wonderful but as soon as I start sliding down and reach to the posts of years 2014 or before they don't give a good impression. They seem fade and yellowish. For this, I suggest that you should delete or archive the old pictures so that your feed remains clean.10. Utilizing The Story FeatureAlong with uploading pictures, you also need to add some stories. This shows that you're really active. Stories witness greater engagement. Some of your followers mightn't like your pictures but they would look at your stories. Your stories are more likely to appear on the explore button once you tag location or hashtags in it.11. Publicize Your WebsiteYou can publicize your website or business on your profile. By this way, You'll be able to earn money along with sparking personality on instagram.
Summing It Up.Sparking your personality on instagram is really an easy task. For this, you need to assess your profile picture. Getting a clearer and closer picture of yourself on your profile will attract more people to visit your profile. You should have a clean bio which should be a summary of your bio-sketch. Your bio should accompany a website. This way, if people are influenced by the way you post, they're likely to visit your profile. To add a professional touch to your profile, you can covert your personal profile to a business profile by connecting to a facebook page. You should always post creative content in the best of niche. The pictures should be of good quality. The captions should never be omitted . When you sign up on instagram you should decide how many followers should you get on an average when you post a picture. You shouldn't forget the story feature. Both the post and stories should go hand in hand.

11 Ways To Capture And Upload The Best Insta-Kind Selfies...

shiv sangal, Instagram,selfies, blogger

Instagram is on rise these days. Almost everyone is curious to know the tactics for getting more likes and new followers every day.
The best models of Instagram are followed by the aspiring future celebrities. The biggest thing they try for improving their feed is stuffing their profiles with a number of selfies. But many a times, likes are not sufficient.
Nevertheless, uploading selfies is a good option. Today, I decided to share with you the tactics I learned after searching and assessing thousands of accounts of celebrities, celebrity bloggers, models and feature accounts.
How Much Important Are Selfies For You?You might be a person with a good instagram feed, but it might be possible that you aren't getting that number of likes.Along with your nature or any other article's photography, do you sometimes forget uploading your own pictures? You must at first, observe your audience. Calculate the number of your followers. Note, whether you've known followers or unknown followers more in number. If you've known followers more than unknowns then you need to focus on your own pictures too, but if you've unknown followers too; you can continue with your scheme. I think I've left you in an ambiguous dilemma. I can explain. When you've knowns in your profile, they'd love to watch your way of living. Particularly, a human touch is necessary in this case. On the other hand, If you've unknowns more in your profile, you can continue with your niche as they have followed you for the content you're posting. Changing the way you post can lead you to losing your followers. Shiv sangal, selfies, instagram, blogger 11 Ways To Capture And Upload The Best Insta-Kind Selfies...Now, that you've known that if posting selfies by you is worth it, I think that we must proceed further. Following are the eleven points to keep in mind while clicking and uploading selfies:-1. Maintain Distance.Earlier, when the concept of selfie just entered the scenario, I got the habit of either taking the selfies too high or just in front of me which showed double chin and made me look like a fat deer.So learning about appropriate distance is necessary. You must check by taking a few selfies before going somewhere. One exercise is to close your mouth and stick your tongue on the roof of your mouth; and smile. This will give a gentle look to your face.2. Stay Tuned With Brightness.Dull selfies are not worth uploading. Check that there must be enough light around before taking selfie. Check that your lens are clean, so that they mustn't clog the light. If the pictures are not bright you can also opt for editing them, but mind it that you shouldn't over edit them.3. Follow the 40% Rule.Have you ever been confronted with a person whose profile is just full of many images but they all are selfies. These sorts of people will hardly get followers. For this, I've developed a 40% rule. According to the 40% rule, Out of the total number of pictures on your Instagram profile, the number of your selfies should not exceed by 40 per cent.4. Check Whether You Should Use Story Or Post. Not every selfie is worth uploading. For some selfies, it's better that you just upload them on your story and over. Try rating your selfies on the scale of 1-10. All those selfies which come below 5 deserve to be on story and above 5 should be uploaded. By the way, I prefer using stories for the purpose, as there is no limit on how you should use stories.5. Selfies as SouvenirsHave you heard, 'A picture is worth a thousand words.' But how often do you adopt this saying?I suggest you not to serve your Instagram profile, a habitat to crap. You should post only those pictures which are memorable for you. For example, In the above picture, my friend Harsh and I took the selfie because both of us had got the very first opportunity to represent our school in a debate. So it was a memorable moment. Now consider a useless moment; two people, who meet almost everyday, out of getting bored take a selfie and upload it. These type of selfies should be avoided. You should think in your mind that how can you describe your selfie and you'll have your answer.6. Vibes MatterYou should pay attention at how your selfies make you feel after you click them. If they make you feel positive, upload them. If they make you feel negative, discard them.7. Mind The ArrangementYou should have a look at how the contents in the selfie are arranged. It shouldn't seem as if everything is pushed in a corner and a plain background is appearing.8. Composition must be UnforgettableHaving a group selfie is an ebullient task. But this act too requires some labor. Make sure that in a group selfie, everyone is merrily placed and has got enough space to appear. Everyone should be in a good mood. The flow of energy should be visible with coordination.9.The Perfect SettingAppropriate features of a camera should be used. No camera is bad, you should have the optimum utilisation of the features. Once you've used good features, you're done.10. Seek The best Background. You've done everything required to get a good selfie, but you still aren't getting it. Why? The reason is, your background. Just like the contents of your selfie, your background should also be amazing.11. Write The Best CaptionI won't say much about it, but I must say that caption is just as important as the selfie itself. I think this topic must be discussed in detail some other day, but I've designed one picture to illustrate. shiv sangal, selfies, instagram, blogger Finally, I'm done with today's topic. Comment in the following section, the techniques you use to get good quality selfies. Do share this post if you liked it.

This Happened When I Visited My Ancestral Haveli In Shamli...

Lal Singh Bhawan in Shamli. Picture clicked by Shiv Sangal Our Haveli, Lal Singh Bhawan in Shamli

A Couple of days ago, I visited Shamli, the place from where my grandfather belongs and still resides there peacefully. With my earnest stubbornness my parents planned a getaway to the place itself. So we took an hour drive to our destination after ten years. shiv sangal at lal singh Bhawan in Shamli Posing with DesignShamli is a beautiful place. Our haveli is visible from the entrance of the colony. The road of the colony was narrow but clean. It was also surrounded by small houses built in or around the same age.
The haveli was built by my Great-Grandfather's father Lala Lal Singh in 1936. Hence, the name of the mansion is also Lal Singh Bhawan. A few kilometres ahead is the great Lal Singh Market, which too was established by him.
Shamli, lal Singh Bhawan, Haveli, Muzaffarnagar, shiv Sangal Posing at the main gate.As soon as we entered the fence, I saw my cute little cousin Satyansh playing with his friends, some games actively in the large open space outside the mansion on which at some time, meetings, parties and even weddings used to be held. Nevertheless, the place was then deserted. I entered through the grand arched gate.
On the top of the building was written Lala Lal Singh in English. I wondered that he knew english at that time! It must have been a great achievement.
A candid shot from the balcony with my cousin Satyansh. The whole building was painted yellow with a speck of the combination of a few different colours.
The house had an open veranda with rooms in the side. Here was the room in which my mom Dad lived for one year after their marriage. They had a dressing table with mnemoics SN for Sanjeev and Neelam. I climbed the stairs.
Fashion, Shiv Sangal, Haveli, Lal singh Bhawan, Shamli Locate your eyes as far as you can, It's the campus of Lal Singh Bhawan.I met our Chachis, Amma and Baba ji and exchanged a few pleasantries. Then we rushed to grandfather's room which was very near to the balcony. One peculiar thing that I noticed was that, every room adjoining the balcony had three consecutive doors regardless of the outer door of the veranda.
The rooms were damp so we didn't feel as hot and humid as we'd have felt elsewhere.
This happened when I visited my ancestral haveli in Shamli
We visited the terrace and got a few pictures clicked. The rooftop was so high that we could get the view of the whole Shamli. Even the sugar mill which was 10 km ahead.
There were many rooms (or barsatis) most of which were vacant and some were locked.
I must appreciate the architectural skills and generosity our ancestors had. The biggest factor was echo.
Another candid shot of Me and Satyansh.I was playing badminton with Satyansh, still I could hear the voices of the second floor. Even while I were on the terrace, I could hear the same voices. Incredible! Isn't it?
I had lunch at the same place which was very delicious.
In the afternoon, Satyansh took me to the market area which was full of exciting hustle-bustle. The area is famous for it's soft drink-lemon soda. Sorry! but I don't have any picture of the place.
After that, we visited Sarita Taiji's home which is very near to the haveli, she is a very talented lady with a vibrant personality.
A beautiful craft made by Sarita Taiji.I really had fun. Now I come to know that why did children of bygone age loved to spend their vacations at their grandparents'. These places, despite being ordinary have a thousand stories to tell which cannot be expressed in words. Everyone, at some point of time, loves to go on a historical tour; But I'd rather like to call it a genealogical tour.

Some Unknown Facts Youngsters Feel Shy But Want To Tell You About Toilets...

Toilets,Indian,Western, shiv sangal, personal hygiene, public places The Topic about which I'm going to discuss with you is not modest. I've from the past week gathered enough courage to share this matter with you. What you're going to come up with this post, you'll not find it in any other blog.We don't like talking about Toilets but they're really important for Personal Hygiene.
Why is talking about toilets important? There are various reasons for the fact that toilets are really important. Not only construction of toilets is important but also their maintenance is important. It was my Economics exam last month. While writing on the answer sheet, I felt there was feeling of churning pressure in my gut. Moments later, I realized that I needed to go to the washroom which I knew was Indian. At home I use Western, but I had to go. So now I want to share what should be the ideal maintenance of toilets be like. The reasons toilets are important are-Necessary For The Reputation Of Personality. Many People think that they've properly cleaned and furnished their drawing and living rooms and that's it. No, man. Do you know? If you want to know about the personality of your host, use their bathroom. If a person is kind, you'll find the bathroom clean.Necessary for Personal HygieneIf you sit at a place was egestion which is not, It can be harmful for your health. What Is The Real Plight?Toilets in India are of two types- Indian and Western. The Indian ToiletsIndian Toilets are just like small basins on the floor which enable a person to excrete by sitting in a squat position. They're generally installed by poor or primitive people or at public places to incur less expenses. They generally require less maintenance.Problem With The Indian ToiletsPeople who have joint pains or other diseases find it difficult to use. These sort of toilets are not cleaned. Many people don't install flushing system, so these kind of toilets usually keep stinking. In many public toilets, tissue papers are not provided.Your clothes usually get wet as you remove them on floor which creates a messy appearance afterwards. Many children have the habit of using jets at homes so using toilets of this sort is quite asphyxiating.Solution For The Indian ToiletsIn Every Indian Toilet, Flushing System should be installed. Else they should be washed and cleaned properly.Tissue paper and Water should be supplied in ample amounts.Spitting shouldn't be allowed in the toilets. On the washroom doors should be hooks, where you can hang your clothes.Pest control should be carried out on regular Intervals as mosquitoes and bees usually bud in these areas. The Western ToiletsWestern Toilets are chair like structures with a cavity in between for excretion. Problem With The Western ToiletsMany Western toilets at public places don't have jets. Moreover, provision of tissue papers is not made.Even if some have jets, they're leaking.Solution For The Western ToiletsIt should be ensured that every toilet has jet.Additional provision of tissue papers should be made.leakages should be corrected. They should be regularly cleaned. So, I think, my work is done. Now you should comment what you feel about public toilets in the comments section. Take Care.

7 Places To Visit In Karnataka To Overcome Crowd

Karnataka is a beautiful place to travel. As it's campaign itself uses so many words, I too decided to overcome the alexithymia of my feelings and bind my experiences with words. I visited this place with my family from 20-28th of february. I think the season in itself is a good time to visit.
Karnataka, Shiv Sangal
Lal Bagh
Bengaluru is a metro city which has a plethora of tourist places to offer. From historical places to shopping malls, from museums to gardens; you can visit anywhere. Since, I'm a calm-seeker, I visited Lal Bagh, a garden developed by Tipu Sultan.
The best time to Visit the destination is early morning. Walking in this place amid the scorching heat would be an intolerable experience. Moreover if you visit here early morning, you can get to meet many localites who visit the place for a morning walk.
I did a lot of macro and portrait photography. You can get to see plants of rare species over here. Entry is free.
Glass house, Lal Bagh Glass house of Lal Bagh., Bengaluru
Srirangpatna
Just on the way to Mysore comes a small town Srirangpatna. In this small town, you can visit Tipu Sultan's summer palace, The mosque in which Tipu Sultan used to pray.
Devi NimishambaWhat I loved the most was the temple of Devi Nimishamba. You'll notice that every temple has a Navgraha temple ( temple of nine planets) outside. The temple is out of the reach of tourists, so you would be able to get the darshan quickly.

Devi Nimishamba, Srirangpatna Devi NimishambaSangam Of Two Rivers Near the temple campus is the sangam of two rivers- Kaveri and Netravati. I suggest you to just sit on the ghat and gaze the amalgam of the farther bluish hills with the closer green meadows. The ghat is less modified. The river is less polluted as well, you can note the colour change between the two rivers and the immersion creating the existence of a new colour. On the other side of river, Some medium sized rocks are scattered. Take time to click pictures or sketch, if you wish.

Sangam of Kaveri and Netravati
Ranganathswamy TempleYou can also visit a renowned temple over here Ranganathswami Temple, A temple dedicated to Lord Shiv. It has got a splendid architecture. On it's walls, you can come to note the sculptures representing the different incidents from Puranas.

Market

In around the market you may find an array of different goods. But what I insist you for buying is Gulkand (A mouth freshener made of roses), Gajra(a jewelry made of flowers worn in hair), wooden articles, Watermelons, pineapples and A yellow coloured wood (the name for me is still a thingamajig) offered on shivalinga.
Shiv Sangal Being Photogenic, I posed with a watermelon.
Appremaya Swami Temple
This is another famous temple in the Dodamallur district of Karnataka. If you get tired very quickly after waiting in long queues of temples, you can go for this. This lord Krishna Temple has almost no queues and barricades  . It is the temple of Lord Krishna. Reaching this place is also easy as there is hardly any traffic. The best time to visit this place is afternoon.
I was just mesmerized by by sight from the outside decor as the temple door was adorned with flowers.

You'll Regret You Didn't Try this In Ooty...

ooty; railway station;british
Don't get me wrong, but tell me the reason you visit hill stations. Visiting the hill stations is not just for staying in hotel which you can do almost anywhere in the world, neither you go to buy the commodities of the same brand which would otherwise be available in your hometown too.
The biggest thing I consider while travelling, not to be stuck in materialism. So is the circumstance in Ooty , a small town of the district Nilgiri in Tamil Nadu of India.
This Hill station was found in 19th century by the Britishers to conquer the scorching heat. Thus moving in the country side was the best option for them. Hence, the most remarkable of all the architecture comprises the buildings by Britishers.
Ooty LakeOur excursion in Ooty was two-dayed. We started with the Lake, It's beauty is really mind blowing. The waves in water shone with the partly setting sun. We could see the green hills in the image formed on water on which the migratory ducks were also paddling. Clouds of different shapes gathered.
boat point, ooty lake, ooty; shiv sangal Ooty LakeUsually I feel sick when I try motor boat because of gazing the same waves rolling again and again. The beauty which appears initially soon disappears as soon as we shift from the boundary.
But this wasn't the case with Ooty Lake , as there was much more to see. Even air was bothering us just to show it's presence. Travelling with family is really an enlightening process.
shiv sangal, ooty, lake Family time at Ooty Lake.
Botanical GardenAfter a short time, we visited the Botanical Garden. It's near the Tibetan market, which has a huge variety to offer, exotic fruits, nuts and some handicrafts. The Botanical Garden too was very beautiful. It had a number of flowers booming(actually smiling).  From the clouds, the sun shined lightly to give enough warmth. We were able to walk indefatigably . botanical garden, ooty, british architecture, shiv sangal Two beautiful huts in front of each other. Moreover, we visited a beautiful green house which preserved a large species of ferns. The Train Ride
This was the most joyous experience, I ever had. Had I omitted to visit any of the tourist attractions, It would have been okay. But, had I missed the Ooty to Coonoor train ride, I would have regretted the whole life. Just having an opportunity to sit inside idly is a virtue.
This train is also known as toy train because of it's small size. To get the ticket you must seek the Udhagammandalm (official name of Ooty) Railway Station. Then you can reach on time for getting the comfort of the chair car.
I bet that you won't feel the same enthusiasm if you travel in car. Throughout the Journey, you come to see marvelous scenes which won't let you doze off. I'd like to recommend that you wear full sleeves or carry some warm clothes as the wind blows very cool. It will take you in 45 minutes.
Ooty;coonoor;landscape;tamil nadu;south;india A landscape visible from the train of Ooty to Coonoor. You can meanwhile notice in the way that all the railway stations coming in the way are all blue.

coonoor;railway station;shiv sangal;travel;blogger The blue Painted Landscape of Coonoor Railway Station. CoonoorJust like Ooty, Coonoor is another town of the district Nilgiri. Here you can take the pleasure of visiting Tea Gardens and getting your pictures clicked. We also visited Chocolate, Oils and Tea factory. A special kind of tea 'Chocolate tea' is popular here.Summing UpFinally it's time to summarize of what we've discussed so far. Ooty and Coonoor are two hill stations which are very close. Using Train is the best option. Moreover it's better if you try to stay close to nature and away from materialism as more as possible while travelling.

This Chapter In Our English Textbooks is a Stain on the Name of Radicalism...

Ranga's Marriage, Shiv Sangal, Blogging, Snapshots, English , Kannad, Masti Venkatesh Iyengar, NCERT, CBSE

The Story 'Ranga's Marriage' in the book 'Snapshots' of class 11 is a stain on the name of radicalism.

A Revolution In Our Education System.
From a few decades, our education has undergone with a number of changes to a great extent. The mindset of students depends upon their school's ambiance and their education. The education further depends on what is taught and what is taught depends on the content in books. In the recent times many of the NCERT textbooks are being reviewed to eliminate what may be wrong.
The same is the case with Ranga's Marriage.
Ranga's MarriageI'm an eleventh class student and as a matter of fact, this story was taught to us as a part of our english literature syllabus. This chapter is in our Second book 'Snapshots'. Ranga's Marriage is a story written by A Kannad Author Masti Venkatesh Ayangar.

But this story to a great extent has challenged the modern social structure of our country. This also raise a question of what is being taught in our school and what is being put in the minds of students.
PlotThe Ranga's Marriage features the story of a young lad Ranga who returns to his village Hosahalli from Bangalore after completing his studies. He's of a strong belief that his wife should be of his age. But the narrator 'Shyama' dislikes the opinion and frames a plan to run an affair between Ranga and his ten year old niece Ratna. CriticismAbsurdityThe story is quite absurd.
Age Old PracticesThis story is talking about age-old practices which are no longer relevant in the present era.
Promoting Child MarriageThe narrator tries to run an affair between Ranga and Ratna although Ranga was of no belief about child marriage. In this way, the writer has tried to portray the radical ideas negatively. He has tried to promote child marriage. Moreover Conservatism is supported.
Useless DescriptionThe story uses extremely diverse description of the village's mangoes, ponds, leaves which is really useless.
UnbelievabilityThe way in which Ratna is described, wearing a grand saree is unbelievable.
Deterioration Of DignityIt is impossible for a full mature adult man to fall in love with a girl of ten. However a man should see other girls as daughters or sisters if younger or mothers if elder. The story crosses it's limits and deteriorates the dignity of human relations. If a person needs to have a good character he mustn't read these sort of stories.
VulgarityIt's extremely vulgar to show a young girl whelping babies.
No Literary SenseEven if all the above stated points are disregarded we must consider that this story isn't even good from the entire literature's point of view.
It's Twenty-first CenturyIt's Twenty-first century man, we don't need these stories for which the term ad absurdium too may feel less, but those which children might love to read. We need good stories.
Why Am I Talking About This?I ain't just writing. This chapter was taught in our class in August 2017. At the very moment my mind was stuck in the same quodlibet about the same maladroit story. At home, I tried to read it but I didn't enjoy it as usual, As the content was really byzantine. The next morning I approached my english teacher and told that I don't mind this chapter socially responsible. She calmly told me that she at some point of time felt the same thing. I decided to raise my voice. I wrote a letter to CBSE, from which reply came to contact NCERT. I further contacted NCERT but no reply arrived.Still what I liked about our english teacher is that she supported my query instead of suppressing it.
Let's Carry The Movement Forward. Are you a parent, student, educator or any other person? Then you must join hands to carry the movement forward. We must raise our voice so that this chapter could be discarded from the textbooks and a new one be placed in it's place.
