A Kirkus STAR for MUCH ADO ABOUT BASEBALL!

I’m delighted that my next middle grade novel, MUCH ADO ABOUT BASEBALL, has gotten its first trade review, and it’s a STAR from Kirkus Reviews! The reviewer called it “a moving tale of baseball, magic, and former rivals who come together to solve a problem.” MUCH ADO ABOUT BASEBALL is a companion novel to my debut novel, MIDSUMMER’S MAYHEM, and is set in the same fictional Massachusetts town during the same summer, but with different characters—both kid and magical. It’s story about friendship, family, math, baseball, and magic. You can read the whole review here!

SLJ Article on Diverse Audiobooks in Verse

I was honored to see RED, WHITE, AND WHOLE on this School Library Journal list of diverse #ownvoices verse novel audiobooks! Poetry is meant to be listened to, and it’s a joy to hear a talented narrator read it. I’ve read quite a few on this list, and added a few more to my to-be-listened list!
