Supreme Court Could and Should Overturn Roe v Wade

The United States Constitution enshrined our rights as Americans to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
The first right is the right to life. But many lives have been cut short, despite the best intentions of our founding fathers and our current elected leaders.
The third-largest loss of American lives was caused by the Civil War that claimed 620,000 American lives. After that American tragedy, Abraham Lincoln extolled the sacrifices of those who died at Gettysburg in defense of those principles, and exhorted his listeners to resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
The second-largest loss of American lives was caused by the ‘Spanish Flu’ in 1918 that killed 675,000 Americans.
But the largest loss of American lives that eclipses all others was caused by the Roe vs. Wade decision that paved the way for about 50 million pre-born Americans to die in their mothers’ wombs.
But rather than dwelling on the past, we should look forward to determining how we may prevent future loss of life and liberty. And since abortion is the largest category of preventable loss, let us focus on ending that blight on our nation so that all pre-born American citizens can have the opportunity to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
To this end, any day now the U.S. Supreme Court might decide to accept two key abortion cases, one from Louisiana, the other from Indiana that requires mothers seeking abortions to view an ultrasound of their baby including heart its heartbeat 18 hours prior to obtaining an abortion. A third case from Chicago would test the right of pro-life sidewalk counselors to tell incoming abortion seekers that they are carrying babies inside their wombs, not just tissue. And a fourth case that may it the Supreme Court soon is from Kentucky that actually requires the abortionist to describe the procedure while showing the ultrasound picture of the baby while and making the baby’s heartbeat loud enough for the mother to hear.
Any one of these cases heard by the newly seated members of The Supreme Court could very well overturn the 1973 Roe V Wade abortion decision and right the wrongs of the past so our national might get back on the road to morality and blessing.

Abortion is murder. Pure and simple. While this may sound radical in our modern era, our founding fathers took seriously the admonition written in stone “You should not murder.”
I might note that during the time our nation heeded this admonition, we enjoyed abundance and blessings beyond measure. Sadly, since the infamous Roe v Wade ruling, the United States has been in economic and moral decline.
Since our founding fathers built our Republic on Judeo-Christian principles, let’s more closely examine the admonition not to murder. It was important enough for The Father of all to have given this advice to Moses to share with his generation and generations.
The first record of murder in scripture was by Cain against his brother Abel.
There is something that needs to be understood regarding this ‘commandment’ as it applies to politics where modern murders may be ‘legalized’ with the stroke of a pen or by 5 ‘justices’ wearing black robes.
It is my belief and perception that this ‘commandment’ also applies to willful and purposeful policies put into law by people in government. For example:
The better translation from the Hebrew (since there is no word for ‘command’ in Hebrew) would be “You should not murder” — a subtle distinction but an important one. Killing an innocent person is considered murder. Killing an unjust aggressor to preserve your own life is still killing, but it isn’t considered murder or immoral.
Now, what about abortion? Abortion is pure murder of the most innocent lives.
Which one of the above do you prefer?
Abortion is murder. That deserves to be repeated. Abortion is murder. It can be nothing else but murder. It involves a willful and purposeful killing of an innocent developing fetal human being in a sacred place called a mother’s womb. Scientifically speaking and morally speaking life begins at conception, there is no other truth than this. A fertilized human egg meets all the scientific criteria of being alive and being human. Not believing this sacred truth and violating this commandment leads to stories like the following one from the New York Times:
More Than 2,200 Preserved Fetuses Found at Property of Dead Doctor, Officials Say: The family of a doctor in Illinois discovered more than 2,200 medically preserved fetuses at his property a little over a week after his death, the authorities said.
How any more heinous can you get? This story makes me sick to my stomach but here it is. What is even more sickening is that this story is completely consistent with the Democrat Party Platform.
EVERY DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SUPPORTS WHAT IT TOOK TO GATHER 2,200 DEAD BABIES AT THAT MONSTER DOCTOR’S HOME.
So, does anyone still want to vote Democrat now?
If anybody tells you differently, they are either completely ignorant, or they are lying about it and are part of Satan’s Democrat squadron of minions
trying to miss name things in order to promote heinous crime against God’s children and Almighty God himself. It is my opinion that anybody that purposely and willfully distorts this truth is a future candidate to reside in hell for eternity. The largest abortion provider in America is Planned Parenthood and its founder is Margaret Sanger.
Does anybody want to bet me where Margaret Sanger is spending eternity? I will bet anybody $10,000, no make that $1 million if they can prove that Margaret’s Sanger is not in hell right now. If you are unwilling to take this bet, then that tells me there is some amount of truth rattling around inside your brain and your heart. This is a good thing for it shows there is hope for you from a Judeo-Christian spiritual perspective.
Murder also includes not only physical murder ending a person’s physical life but it also includes killing a person’s future, killing their God-given inner gifts such as intellectual abilities, social abilities and psychological assets that can enhance not only their lives but also the lives of those who come into contact with the person if the murder of their inner well-being never took place.
In our society today we call it by such terms as child abuse, sexual abuse, child pornography, child trafficking for sex, enslavement and the list goes on. All these acts murder the inner person and kill their life’s potential as was ordained by Almighty God.
One glaring example has been recently exposed with Jeffery Epstein who was supposedly committed suicide inside the highest security prison in our country. Did he kill himself? BULLSHOOTY!!! This creep ran a child prostitution ring that involved transporting high-level politicians and business people on his private jet called the “Lolita Express” to his private island called “Pedophile Island” in the Bahamas.
Guess who was one of Epstein’s biggest customers, Bill Clinton. Why are the Democrats not going after Bill Clinton? Purposely looking away from ugly crime is an act of complicity that brings guilt with it.
To show the apparent seared conscious some politicians have toward life, Democrat Virginia Governor Ralph Northam advocated for the wanton killing of newly born infant babies. In a TV interview, he was selling the idea that abortion should extend for a certain time AFTER an infant is born and is healthy. He said to the effect and direct terms that they would “allow” the child to be born and then make the baby comfortable on a table. THEN THEY WOULD KILL IT!
This is barbarous savagery at its worst. Democrats like Ralph Northam should thank his mother for not feeling the same way he does when she was pregnant with him.
Jesus Christ (in Hebrew Yahowsha’) said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except by Me”. Think about this the next time you take political positions regarding abortion. Where do you want to spend eternity? With people that love and promote life, or with people who want to kill for convenience? That is your question that everyone must answer.
No one on this planet has a right to murder another human being for any reason. That garbage political slogan from Democrats that a woman may kill her unborn developing fetal human being inside her womb in the name of “women’s reproductive rights”, or “women’s reproductive health”, is a complete satanic lie that manifests the disdain and pure hatred Satan has for God’s children. Yet so many people have fallen for this lie it amazes me and is so depressing to think that people can be fooled by such ignorant and stupid lies from the Democrat party.
Abraham Lincoln once said:
The Who, the famous rock band from the 1970s sang the famous song, “We Won’t Get Fooled Again.”
So, are you going to embrace truth and choose life? Or will choose the lie and remain willfully fooled?

Approach the Holidays with Intention: Avoid Food Waste and Help the Planet
Fall is the time of year when we start thinking about upcoming holiday celebrations, and the beautiful, elaborate meals we’ll be preparing to share with family.
Unfortunately, one of the biggest issues plaguing the environment is food waste, which happens year-round—let alone during extravagant holiday meals and family celebrations, where we buy too much and prepare more than we need.
According to the World Food Program, of the more than 8 trillion pounds of food we produce each year, one third is wasted, costing the global economy nearly US$750 billion annually, which contributes to global food insecurity.
Not only is food waste an issue, but many people are starting to realize the importance of sustainable ingredients to help the environment. A recent survey conducted by Herbalife Nutrition around plant-based diets showed that 40% of respondents’ food choices are a result of wanting to be more environmentally friendly.
This increasing awareness, along with World Food Day taking place on October 16, has sparked the revolution for #ZeroHunger, a global initiative to eliminate hunger and provide access to nutritious meals for children, Susan Bowerman shares seven tips to consider when planning your family meals to help reduce food waste and live more sustainably:
Plan Ahead- Whether you’re meal-prepping nutritious meals for the week, or planning the menu for your next soiree, planning ahead is a great way to ensure you’re preparing only what you can consume and not serving your guests more than they can eat.
Consider Cooking with More Sustainable Ingredients- People are leaning towards more plant-based diets for a variety of reasons, including health concerns, for weight loss, for religious reasons, or concerns about the environment. For those who are just starting to experiment, it might be best to adopt a “flexitarian” diet or menu, which is a primarily plant-based diet with the occasional inclusion of meat, poultry, fish or eggs. It’s a great way to maintain a healthy, balanced diet while helping to protect the environment by cutting down on energy and resources used to produce red meat. A recent study conducted by Herbalife Nutrition uncovered that 40% of the respondents who identified as flexitarian chose this type of diet in order to be more environmentally-friendly.
Plate up in the kitchen instead of at the table- Consider portioning out your meal in the kitchen. Serving food family-style makes it easy for everyone to help themselves, which is precisely why it’s not such a good idea if you’re trying to control portions, and ultimately avoid food waste. With serving dishes on the table, it’s just too easy to have “just another spoonful.” One of the biggest sources of food waste comes from food left on the plate, which often ends up in the trash.
Learn about the dating system of food labels- Most of what we waste is safe and edible—like the remains of a family-sized carton of yogurt or the heels of a loaf of bread. A sell-by date is really just the date that a portion of food has to be pulled from the store shelves—a use-by date is suggested for best flavor or quality, but foods are safe to eat after this date. For instance, milk can easily last another week past the date, and eggs should last another three weeks.
Repurpose foods that are reaching expiration- There are many ways to get the most out of your perishable food items, even when they start to look a little sad. When your tomatoes get too mushy to cut up for salads, consider making them into homemade tomato sauce. Are your bananas getting brown and squishy? Give them more life by unpeeling them and keep them in the freezer as a healthy smoothie ingredient! Soups, stews, salads are great dishes that can incorporate many different ingredients with shorter shelf lives.
Bigger Is Not Always Better- Yes, larger good packages and buying in bulk can have their financial upsides, but if you’re committed to helping the environment, and avoiding food waste, consider buying only what you know you’ll actually be able to consume.

Keeping Kids Healthy in a Digital World
Most of us can agree that digital technology has engendered unprecedented changes in our society that we don’t yet fully understand. Few need to be convinced of its positive benefits. We, the research community, are grappling with the extent to which our relationship with media is contributing to the staggering rates of adolescent anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide, addiction, ADHD, and more. It can be confusing to sort through the conflicting articles, misleading headlines, and expert testimony about digital media’s effects on our children. You, as a parent, also know, without thinking twice, that research is warranted. This brave new world can be degrading, overwhelming, distracting, surveilling, polarizing, and especially, addicting.

Cognitive Effects
We do not yet fully understand how digital media impacts child cognitive development. The NIH’s Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study preliminarily indicates that heavy screen use accelerates the natural process of “cortical thinning.” More research is urgently needed to understand the implications of these findings.
Cellphones in Schools
We must adopt and enforce policies for cell phone use in schools. We must encourage that cell phones be put away while in the classroom, and that lunchtimes be device-free. Avoid texting or calling your child during the school day — in an emergency, call the main office.

Privacy
We need to ensure that schools anonymize all student data at the district level to protect your child’s privacy. Children and Screens has suggested that school administrators add safeguards to depersonalize student data when signing up their students for educational apps: assign students with alpha-numeric codes instead of using names/personal identifiers. Additionally, show your child how to stay safe online. Make sure they understand what is and isn’t appropriate to share.
Online Communities
Technology offers vast opportunities for communication with others based on shared interests and ideas. Students can use the internet to connect with other peers from diverse backgrounds, learn about different points of view, and participate in various causes. Provide guidance for prosocial internet use and help your child find positive communities.
Physical Health Concerns
Screen use can interfere with exercise, disrupt your child’s sleep, and limit time outdoors. Kids may also experience neck, back or hand pain after extensive device use. Set up ergonomic workstations and always keep devices out of bedrooms to discourage late-night usage. Dr. Dimitri Christakis, a nationally-renowned pediatrician who serves on Children and Screens’ national scientific Advisory Board, suggests that your children carve out at least three hours a day of screen-free time: one hour for a sport, club, or activity after the school day, one hour for dinnertime, and one hour before bedtime.
Mental Health Concerns
Recent research has detailed a link between device use and depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, and other mental health concerns. Other studies suggest that there are weak mental health effects related to devices. Reach out and get help if you believe that the well-being of your child is adversely affected.
We must be more proactive in supporting our children. We must encourage the government to systematically analyze every app or platform to which children have access, intentionally or otherwise, to determine if it poses a threat to children’s health and safety. The recent YouTube FTC settlement over violations of children’s privacy underscores the urgency of advancing policy in this field. You, as parents, can help industry, institutions and the government be part of the change you want to see.

Ways to Keep Your Child from Getting Sick at School

Let’s face it: kids don’t always have the most hygienic habits. Plus, their immune systems aren’t as developed as those of adults. This combination means that children often experience a greater risk of getting sick. Now that school has started and kids are in close proximity to one other daily, the potential for germs and viruses to circulate has further increased.
Getting sick isn’t just uncomfortable for your child—it can also cause them to miss school and sacrifice their education. Aside from getting their yearly flu shot, there are many natural ways to prevent their chances of infection. While it’s highly unlikely for a kid to go through an entire school year without getting at least one cold, you can still use some of these ways to keep your child from getting sick at school.
Stress the importance of hand-washing
Children’s hands are notoriously dirty. They frequently forget to wash them, and they often touch dirty surfaces. Unfortunately, children also tend to put their hands in their mouths, which directly transmits germs into their bodies. To reduce their chances of getting sick, it’s important to encourage them daily to wash their hands after going to the bathroom, before eating, and whenever they get their hands dirty.
Pack healthy lunches
Getting the proper amount of nutrients is essential to keeping children healthy and boosting their immune systems. As such, it’s important to pack their school lunches with a balanced variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Doing so will give them the nutrients they need to stay healthy and to fend off diseases. Foods high in vitamins C and D, such as oranges, broccoli, tuna, and strawberries, are especially beneficial for a healthy immune system.
Exercise regularly
Proper exercise is also an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. Exercise is proven to have a number of health benefits, including boosting the immune system. Regular exercise can also give children the strength they need to fight of diseases or infections. To help your child get the exercise they need, consider getting them involved in a sport, or simply spend some time with them outside by going on a walk or being active at the local park.
Set a bedtime
If kids don’t get enough sleep, their risk for getting a cold or the flu significantly increases. Kids need more sleep than adults: according to Sleep.org, children in their elementary and middle school years should get nine to 11 hour of sleep per night. Make sure to set strict bedtimes that allow them to get all the rest they need.
Advise them to avoid sharing
Sharing is often a skill that parents try to teach their children, but kids also need to avoid swapping germs. As such, you should advise your child not to share drinks, food, or anything else that comes into contact with their mouth with their classmates or friends.
Teach them how germs are spread
Teaching kids how sicknesses spread can help them avoid unhealthy behavior. For example, by knowing that germs are spread when someone coughs or sneezes, they’ll know not to stand too close to others and avoid contact with people who are sick.

UN CLIMATE CHANGE REPORT: Earth Warming, Glaciers Melting, Sea Levels Rising Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

I have always believed that the whole climate change thing that the left promotes is a hoax. Leading scientists and climatologists state that the world’s climate has been changing for centuries. There is no proof that the actions of humans have caused it either.
God created this beautiful earth and all the creatures on it for us. We have a duty to take care of our planet. But, climate change is not the greatest threat we are facing today.

Earth Warming, Glaciers Melting, Sea Levels Rising

According to a United Nations report, the earth is warming, and sea levels are rising from glaciers melting in Antarctica, as well as in the northern nation President Trump is trying to buy: Greenland!
There hasn’t been such concern over a potential environmental emergency since, well, since Dorothy, the Tinman, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion walked through the forest with trees that talked.
I host an online Talk Show where I interview experts on a myriad of topics including so-called Climate Change. After listening to these Socialist-minded environmental fear mongers rattle on, the conclusion I have that the only rational fear of climate change is that it might stop changing.

Imagine, if you will, what might happen if people around the world actually took this most recent U.N. report on Climate Change seriously, and the world collectively agreed to let the U.N. inflict a world Climate Tax on them, giving trillions of dollars U.N.-crony scientists trillions of dollars to stop our climate from changing. I can hear it now: “We’ve succeeded in stopping the climate from changing. It’s now the same temperature everywhere on earth form Antarctica to the Equator to The North Pole!
And if this ‘success’ were really to happen, I’d be quaking in my boots, looking for another planet, one with seasons that change and while I’m at it, a world without crazy scientists or loony liberals who would even mess with such a project.
A climate that doesn’t change is totally unnatural. It’s great to see the colors change in Fall and to wait for the ice to melt in Spring—glaciers included, from time to time. It’s all been working here on good ol’ earth for a long time and it is the utmost in arrogance to believer little-old-man has changed those cycles that have been going on for ions.
But if we examine the history of the hysterical liberal environmentalists, Socialists and Communists first they warned of the Great Cooling. Decades later when it didn’t come, they warned of Global Warming.
I think the big climactic shift in their philosophy came shortly after there was a widespread picture of huge snowstorm at the entrance of their Global Warming convention, killing what little credibility they might have had even with ‘true believers.’ So, what’s a bunch of discredited scientists to do? They created a new Boogeyman called ‘Climate Change.’ Now if it gets hot, blame those dirty air-polluting capitalists. And if the weather gets cold, blame Trump or Sean Hannity or Exxon.
It’s all nonsensical and just an excuse to push through an ever more radical Socialist agenda. Socialists, Communists and other enemies of free markets will seize any opportunity they can to try to divide and conquer. Karl Marx and other Communist leaders would always try to stir up trouble between the so-called haves and have nots. Racial division, economic differences, any excuse to pit people against each other to advance their entry-level causes leading toward their main cause to have a global socialist government. And their sought-after ‘utopia’ is one without freedom, without the ability to enjoy the fruits of your labor, and for everything to be owned by big government. Their enemies are the United States Constitution, the right to bear arms, property ownership, and free markets.
People ask, “Aren’t you concerned about the sea levels rising? Give me a break. The ocean tides change daily. They are called ‘tidal changes.’ But it’s the moon causing that. And whatever shred of truth there might be from the lunatic conclusions the so-called scientists at the UN have made accusing mankind (and presumably women also) of being responsible for changing ocean levels, you can put that blame in a thimble compared to what the moon does daily to our oceans. It’s all imaginary, with fabricated facts, leading to a fabricated crisis and just an excuse to destroy free markets and to tax the world.
Because Socialist and socialist-minded people continually pedal myths and fear, I wrote the definitive book “Socialism Sucks Your Money from Your Pocket” to expose Socialism for the scam it is, robbing from the rich in the name of science or any other excuse they have to take control of our money and our lives.
In the old days, when your stagecoach was robbed, at least the bandits had the decency to give you a choice: “Your money or your life.” Today’s political class wants both: your money and your life.

Helping our Children Become People of the Book
I was born in Ukraine in a basement apartment comprising one bedroom and a kitchen. Six people lived there. My late father, Vladimir Shyfrin, became a professor of science. My mother, Eugenia Alexandrovskaya, became an engineer. My parents couldn’t afford a new apartment or a car, but our home was always full of books. The Book was the Queen. There were all kinds of books: adventures, biographies, and also children’s popular science.
I grew up, became the champion of Ukraine’s physics olympiads, graduated from university in Moscow, completed my PhD, started a successful business. But wherever I was and whatever I did, the passion for books and science never left me. It was due to my parents, who since early childhood had introduced to the wonderful world of knowledge.
We don’t know who our children will become in their lives, but we should definitely teach them to be good people. We should definitely teach them to think. We should never forget, and tell our children, that we are the People of the Book. We have to teach them to discern between good and evil.
Today I myself have children and grandchildren, and I found that it’s my duty to acquaint them with the world of books and science as my parents had acquainted me. I decided to write an interesting story for my children and grandchildren, and Travels With Sushi In the Land of the Mind
was born. But after the book was finished, I said to myself: why not publish it? Even if it helped just a few children navigate their ways through life, my way of thinking was, my mission would be fulfilled.
In my story the characters are stranded in a land they weren’t aware of, governed by unfamiliar physical laws. They embark on a mission to save it. To do so, they have to vanquish the Black Queen and her lords and recover the Book of Understanding. Their journey is perilous, and as it proceeds they make friends and learn about the world and themselves. However, they are given the option to abandon the mission anytime; safety is a touch of a button away. In their toughest moments they feel the urge to press it.
We all face crises in life. And every crisis can be both a problem and an opportunity to grow and reach heights of which you haven’t dreamed off. But if you give in, life becomes dull and colorless.
Through my book I tried to convey the message to children that, in order to live a meaningful life, they must be strong, resilient and always striving for knowledge, and, most importantly, good people.

Postpartum is Forever
When I had a baby, I expected my body to bounce back immediately. It didn’t. I expected to return to running and triathlon as if I hadn’t skipped a beat. I was so caught up in what I was “supposed” to be able to do and what I “should” look like that I didn’t give myself the grace I deserved. Not once did I say to myself “You’re amazing! You just created a human!” Instead I beat myself up for being “too fat” or “too slow.”
As an athlete I expected my body to perform a certain way and when it didn’t, I thought something was wrong with me. There wasn’t. When I returned to running postpartum, I ended up with a stress fracture almost immediately. I felt that my body betrayed me. What I realized later was quite the opposite. My body did exactly what it needed to do to create life and give me my son. My body didn’t betray me. I was betraying it by pushing too hard and asking too much of it too soon.
Once you have had a baby your body will never be the same. This is not to stay it will be worse; in fact, it may even be better. But it certainly will not be the same as it once was. Changes that occur during pregnancy can remain for a lifetime. It is common for postural and biomechanical changes such the position of the rib cage, gait, size of the pelvic girdle, integrity of the abdominal wall or pelvic floor to be disrupted.
Returning to your sport slowly and without judgment will decrease your risk for overtraining, injury and significant frustration. We have to be smart enough to know when we can push through and when we need to take it slow and steady.
Here are some tips for you to return to running
in the initial postpartum period (0-12 months):
Walk first. Have you ever heard the phrase “walk before you run?” Walking for the first several weeks after giving birth will help you to transition back to running more smoothly and allow your body some well-deserved time to heal. Begin a run/walk program at eight weeks postpartum.
In the first few weeks after giving birth you can start to activate your core, pelvic floor and hip muscles to get you ready for running. Start with simple diaphragmatic breathing, easy deep core stability and gluteal exercises. Pilates is a great way to tap into the deep core using your breath.
See a Pelvic Health Therapist: At six-eight weeks postpartum we recommend a check up with a pelvic health therapist. They should assess the pelvic floor, check if you have diastasis recti, urinary incontinence or any other pregnancy related impairments. If these issues are not addressed, they can lead to hip, back or other injuries in the future.
Don’t start where you left off. Once you have walked for several weeks begin a walk/run program. Don’t run too much too soon, especially if you are breastfeeding. Stress fractures are common among breastfeeding moms. This is because the calcium that typically goes to your bones instead goes to create the milk you produce. Too much too soon increases the risk for injury.
In order to produce milk women, need an extra 500 calories a day. When you begin running you are burning more calories. If you don’t eat enough your milk supply could deplete and/or you will end up with a stress fracture or other injury.
Talk to yourself like you are talking to a friend. Stop beating yourself up, you are most likely your worst critic. You cannot speed up how quickly your body recovers no matter how hard you will it to return back to “normal.” If you are still breastfeeding then your hormones haven’t normalized yet impacting your bone density, ligament laxity, stride length and more. It takes six-twelve months for your bodies hormones to readjust after you stop breastfeeding.
It may be a relief or perhaps hard to hear, but I have news for you. Postpartum doesn’t end at 12 months post-delivery. Postpartum is forever. The changes that occur during pregnancy can last a lifetime. When I treat women, who have five or even ten year-olds they are often surprised when I ask about their pregnancies and births. The lasting impact of pregnancy can manifest as weakness or dysfunction in the pelvic floor, poor control of the abdomen and trunk, impaired postural patterns, changes in the size and shape of your pelvis and feet or even a dysfunctional gait pattern. If you find you are continually getting injured don’t underestimate what your body went through during pregnancy and the initial postpartum period. You can still get help from a physical therapist or a pelvic health therapist. You will have to make sure they are aware of these common changes and how to treat them.
Women have to stop comparing themselves with who they were prior to having a baby, that person and that body no longer exists and that is OK. Women are resilient and strong; their bodies can meet the demands of raising children, having a career, staying active, training, running and much more. To effectively return to our sports we must recognize the changes our bodies and our lives have gone through are not minor! If you are newly postpartum, now is the time to take care of yourself. If you have children that are 10 years-old but continue to have nagging injuries, then seek out help in order to prevent further issues down the road. Remember postpartum is forever so give your body what it needs to be successful in the long run!

Sure, we all know that sticky sugary treats are bad for your teeth. But did you know everything you eat affects your teeth in different ways? So, what type of food is best to keep your smile happy and healthy?
Here is a handy list to help you keep your mouth in tip-top shape.
Water
Just like for your overall health, water is one of the best things you can drink for your mouth and teeth. Water helps to flush leftover food particles away.
Plus, most American cities add fluoride to their water supply to help strengthen teeth. This is especially important to make sure your kids are getting enough fluoride to build up enamel from the very start.
Dairy Products
Dairy contains tons of protein, calcium, and vitamin, all of which play an important in mouth health. All three of those things are mandatory creating a strong jaw to keep teeth in place. It also helps to lower dangerous acid which can eat away and enamel.
Cheddar cheese is especially good at this. In fact, eating cheese lowers harmful acid and plaque better than yogurt or milk. So, indulge your cheese craving as often as you want.
Orange and Other Vitamin C Rich Foods
Vitamin C deficiency can lead to bleeding gums. So, to promote healthy gums that heal quickly make sure you keep your vitamin c intake up. Plus, it is chalked full of antioxidants, which is good for overall health.
Cranberries
Cranberries contain a plaque fighting agent called polyphenols. This means it is great at keeping cavities at bay because it makes it hard for plaque build-up to happen.

One word of warning though, if you are drinking cranberry juice, make sure you check the sugar levels so you don’t counteract all the benefits of the berries themselves. Because, as we all know, juice tends to contain a ton of added sugar.
Crunchy Foods
Snacking on things like apples, carrots, or raw broccoli can help dislodge plaque build-up that may be on your teeth. It acts as a power scrubber for your teeth to help keep them clean and strong. Plus, they stimulate saliva production which gets rid of bacteria.
While they aren’t a substitute for good professional teeth cleaning, eating crunchy foods can help the amount of scraping down in your next one.
Sugar-Free Gum
This one is similar to crunchy food. The repeated chewing motion helps to get rid of any leftover food. Plus, it also produces saliva which, as discussed above gets rid of bacteria which is bad for your teeth and breath. Just make sure it is sugarless; after all, you don’t want to counteract all the good you are by coating your teeth in sugar.
Foods Rich in Calcium
Calcium, as it turns out, is high in phosphorous which helps protect your teeth from overly acidic foods eating away at the enamel. What calcium does is deposits minerals back on to the teeth, keeping them strong and working for years.

On a Saturday in May, Jeff was preparing his garden when he reached under a lean-to and felt a sudden, intense pain on his hand.
“At first,” Jeff said, “I didn’t know what just took place; then I saw blood coming from two small holes just below my thumb. It was obvious that I had been bitten by a snake. Thankfully, my wife, Mary, was home, and she rushed me to our local hospital. I was blessed to have my son, Nathan, working in the emergency room that day, who was able to expedite my care. While there, I was well taken care of, but it was clear that poisonous snakebites were not in their comfort zone. As the swelling intensified, moved up my arm—turning it blue—and then into my chest, the ER physician made the call to send me via ambulance to a hospital with a well-known trauma unit. In fact, a leading venom specialist practiced at this hospital. The care was excellent, and I remained in the hospital several days, receiving antivenom serum and recovering. However, the full recovery took nearly eight weeks.”
At that time, Jeff hadn’t had much experience with health care sharing. After having health insurance most of his life, he had joined Samaritan just the previous year, deciding to switch to health care sharing through Samaritan because of his self-employed status.
“We were concerned, having always used insurance,” Jeff said. “Thankfully, my wife is extremely organized and a very good negotiator. She handled the many bills associated with both hospitals and all the care, totaling nearly $70,000. Having never submitted a need like this before, we weren’t sure what to expect. When we received the listing of all those we should receive shares from within the coming month, we were in awe. It was a joy to see those flow in daily until the need was met, with about 80% also including notes of encouragement and handwritten prayers for my healing. This was overwhelming and humbling, and we glorify Him for complete healing.

Finding Balance with CBD
As an active mom always on the go, I have found that balance is key to staying sane. I don’t just mean my schedule. That is a whole different beast. Making sure that my body is balanced from the inside out is key to ensure success every day.
How Homeostasis (Internal Balance) Works
You walk through the door to your house on a hot day and the thermostat is set to, let’s say, 74 degrees or so. That typically feels pretty good. Your body gets a sense of relief and your house feels comfortable.
What if you had walked in and the thermostat was set to 74, but it was actually 85 degrees in the house? Unfortunately, that means your air conditioner was unable to restore the temperature to its set point, and you’d probably need to call somebody because it is hot out there!
Homeostasis refers to the concept that a body or cell will work to monitor and maintain a certain state of equilibrium in response to various factors. In the case of the thermostat, the specific factor was increased external temperature impacting internal temperature. This happens in people, as well. The body has a natural process for increasing or reducing temperature through various systems in order to restore balance. And temperature isn’t the only balancing function that is often taken for granted.
Systems that Fall Out of Balance
There are several factors that can interrupt balance in the body including lifestyle, environment, and genetics. Lifestyle includes the kinds of food we eat, the beverages we drink, and our level of activity. A diet of fried food and soda, for example, is going to create a lot of opportunities for the body to build up inflammation-inducing free-radicals, which can cause a multitude of issues. Conversely, working out and eating clean can help the body remain in a better state of homeostasis.
The environment can be harder to control and consists of the air we breathe and toxins around us, which could range from weather changes to smog, ash, or pollen in the air. Genetics are even more difficult to manage.
Here are some areas that can be thrown off balance from these factors:

What I Take to Stay Balanced
I certainly wish I had more time for yoga, meditation, and meal prepping. Isn’t that what all the super-balanced people do? I’m still working on that.
