Charmaine Sims-Smit, born in 1975, works full time in the IT industry, but her true passion lies in taking people on a journey... sometimes with tears... sometimes without.

She lives in Cape Town, South Africa with her husband and two children. Charmaine is most happy when she either has her nose buried deep in a book, is at her desk writing or is spending quality time with her family.

The Quiet Voice is her debut novel and was featured at #9 in the Spiritual Category on www.Wattpad.com, which is where she first started dabbling in writing... getting her toes wet.

I absolutely loved writing this book. It is part real life, part fiction. I must admit that I cried while writing this book, so have some tissues nearby... TRIGGERS: Some self-harming is involved.
