Seeking Support
Are you overly organized, familiar with WordPress, love Mailchimp, like data, enjoy social media, and experienced in supporting creative entrepreneurs? Have a creative spark yourself and enjoy bringing visions to life? If so, I’d love to hear from you!
I’m currently seeking a virtual assistant to help with a few ongoing projects and would LOVE someone familiar with all things Tranquility du Jour.
If you have 5+ hours per week and fit the criteria above, please reach out with a cover letter and sample projects. I’m so excited to offer more to our Tranquility du Jour community and want a right hand person to join me on the journey. Is it you? Bisous. x

Hellooooo October
Welcome to a brand new month (and for some a brand new year)!
Tuesday I set aside time to review September’s dreams, checked things off (why is that SO satisfying?!), and noted the ones that need to be carried over. Next, I pulled a beautiful fall image from Lucia, washi taped it into my planner, and added October dreams. It’s a favorite monthly ritual that ensures I stay in touch with what’s most important.
In Tranquility Salon, one homework practice is to use images and words to represent where we’d like to be in a year. After curating what resonates from magazines, use a glue stick and washi tape to arrange a collage into a journal, notebook, or onto a file folder. Write those one-year-from-now dreams over the collage with a Sharpie. I chose a faint gold one for mine. (You’ll find mine over on Instagram).
This relaxing, creative process decreases stress responses and increases seratonin and helps us stay intentional.
With less than 90 days left in 2019, this ritual offers an artistic and playful way to stay on track and course correct, as needed. What would a Q4 collage look like to you? How have those bigger picture 2019 dreams unfolded? What dreams can you manifest by New Year’s Eve?
Spend a few moments in reflection to contemplate what you need most right now. Sending love and collage encouragement from DC. Bisous. x

Treat Yourself to Fall
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. —Albert Camus
Although it’s 82 degrees outside, I’m dreaming about fall. Below is a list of ways to get in the fall mood. Let’s embrace cozy hygge in all areas of our lives.
Light candles, wrap yourself in soft blankets, don socks, add a chunky sweater to your summer dress, go camping, live in leggings, try a messy bun (how-to), visit a corn maze, learn, reflect, grow, and connect in Tranquility Salon Online, cuddle up on the couch and read, sit fireside, add layers, ride a bike, sip hot drinks, make slow food (think simmering stews), unplug and go analog, add throw pillows and blankets, build a campfire, roast pumpkin seeds, volunteer, simmer potpourri on the stove (7 recipes), carve or paint pumpkins (25 ideas), make a Halloween costume (66 ideas), go hiking, wrap yourself in a scarf, visit a pumpkin patch, bring your pup to Pugs & Pints, go apple picking, add tall boots to your summer frock, enjoy a nature drive, visit the farmers’ market, add cozy touches to home/office by bringing the outdoors in (display pine cones, leaves, acorns).
What’s your favorite thing about fall? Bisous x

Back to School with TDJ
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself. —George Bernard Shaw
Happy fall! It’s my favorite time of the year.
Last weekend I taught at Luna Yoga in Old Town Montreal and met Christopher the pig! As we drove to and from Montreal (yep, 19 hours!), we saw red, yellow, and orange hues peppered in the foliage lining the Canadian highway. It’s that time. We shed the old and make room for slowing down and getting quiet.
This season also conjures up coziness (hello Hygge) and back to school time nostalgia complete with sharpened pencils and new notebooks.
Picture yourself going back to school to reflect, connect, learn, and grow Tranquility du Jour style this fall. Don’t miss out on the NEW Tranquility Salon Online! We start THIS Friday, September 27 and here’s a video peek inside the experience.
Filled with practical tools, poetry, how-tos, and encouragement, we’ll explore these FOUR topics: dreams/goals, self-care, mindfulness, creativity, and self-care.
Learn ways to live with intention and ease as we move into the final months of 2019 and prepare for the bustling holiday season.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:

I am over the moon to be participating in Tranquility Salon Online! It’s the perfect alternative for anyone unable to attend Kimberly’s fabled in-person salons in Washington, D.C. I’m looking forward to sharing insights with wonderful, like-minded women and delving deep into the topics of dreams and goals, self-care, mindfulness, and creativity. —Allison
I’m excited to be joining Tranquility Salon online because, 1) I’m on the other side of the country but soak up the beauty of that space 2) I need some extra time just for me, to re-ignite my creative spark, indulge in some self-care, and just be present as we shift into Fall. Time to pause, and recenter. —Liisa
Kimberly Wilson’s online and virtual events are always well-structured and time well spent. I am so looking forward to the Online Salon!
I am enjoying another standout year infused with the tranquility (and delight) that comes from setting intentions, staying the course, watching them unfold and making time for reflection (and celebration), month after month using Year of Tranquility, Tranquilologie, and the TDJ Daybook.
The online salon will give a boost to the last quarter and I know Kimberly will guide serenity-seekers through a very thoughtful (and fun) bite-sized lifestyle approach, attitude and attunement designed around four thematically oriented, stand-alone modules. —Barbara

I’m joining the online salon because I have enjoyed so many things Kimberly does – the podcast, the online classes, the Daybook, the clothes. I turn 60 in four months and I am in a period of slow changes – focusing less on work and career and more on writing, travel, language, garden, dance. I think the salon will be a great place for me to work on that transition.
—Kathleen
As a full time elementary teacher, wife, and mama of two, I’m joining the Tranquility Salon Online so that I can commit time for myself. I have found that when I take the time to take care of myself, I am happier, calmer, and more focused, which helps me take care of my family and my students. I am looking forward to spending 4 weeks on goal setting, self-care, practicing mindfulness, and getting creative. I’ve taken various courses from Kimberly in the past and I am so looking forward to this newest opportunity to add more tranquility to my daily life.
—Lisa
Anytime Kimberly releases something new, I sign up because I know it will be fabulous. I also loved the timing of this: towards the end of the year, close to the Holiday season and my busy season with my business. I thought it would be a great way to end the year on a positive and tranquil note.
—Hannah
