The Recent Rioting in Britain - What Really Happened

This really warmed my heart.

Far-right, racist and fascist eople were rioting right the way across Britain, mostly in the North and the West Midlands, but there were actions in London, and more were projected.

On Wednesday the 7th of August, the police and everybody braced for more violence, but what actually happened was very different.

go here to listen.

Go here for more.

These actions were being prompted by far-right groups, motivated by racism, Islamophobia, anti-immigrant prejudices, and misinformation. Then anti-racism groups started showing up to confront and counter these actions by the far-right.

What contribution can NVC make to stop the violence?

Go here for the Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence 2024. Hurry! Submit your blog post now! The deadline is coming up soon - the 15th of September!
