What Are You Doing to Support Other Authors?

I recently read this great post by John Kremer on authors helping authors. I found it really inspiring. Authors Working Together to Sell More Books

I'm a firm believer in "what goes around comes around", i.e. the Law of Karma - actions have consequences.

I'm also a firm believer in "paying-it-forward". The universe rewards our efforts.

Helping other authors can be a highlly effective way of promoting your own work, gaining folllowers, fans, sales, reviews, etc. So what have you done to help other authors?

What do you recommend as the best ways to support other authors?

I have interviewed authors on my blog; interviewed authors on my online radio shows; interviewed authors in my More Black Success ebooks. I also promote other authors' posts on Twitter (@Zhana21 and @ZhanaHeals).

So please share below your recommendations for the best ways to support other authors. I await your responses.

Why I Both Love and Hate Writing

I have just seen this piece by Ariel Levy, Staff Writer at The New Yorker , and author of The Rules Do Not Apply . This piece reflects my experience of writing. It totally relates to what she is saying and I could not say it any better, especially when she says, "When it’s bad, the writing process is like tromping through mud and garbage for miles while wearing skis". Does this resonate with you?

Check it out: Do you still enjoy writing, or has it become too much of a chore now that it is your job?
