I have just seen this piece by Ariel Levy, Staff Writer at
The New Yorker , and author of
The Rules Do Not Apply . This piece reflects my experience of writing. It totally relates to what she is saying and I could not say it any better, especially when she says, "When it’s bad, the writing process is like tromping through mud and garbage for miles while wearing skis".
