Child Sexual Abuse - Protecting Our Children

It's very unusual for a Black man to talk openly about the abuse he experienced as a child, let alone write three books about it - but that is what Samuel P. Holloway III has done.

I recently interviewed Samuel P. Holloway III, author of Eyes Without A Face: A True Story of Survival from Emotional, Sexual and Physical Abuse. I've added this interview to my ebook Affirmations for Parents .

What Are You Doing to Support Other Authors?

I recently read this great post by John Kremer on authors helping authors. I found it really inspiring. Authors Working Together to Sell More Books

I'm a firm believer in "what goes around comes around", i.e. the Law of Karma - actions have consequences.

I'm also a firm believer in "paying-it-forward". The universe rewards our efforts.

Helping other authors can be a highlly effective way of promoting your own work, gaining folllowers, fans, sales, reviews, etc. So what have you done to help other authors?

What do you recommend as the best ways to support other authors?

I have interviewed authors on my blog; interviewed authors on my online radio shows; interviewed authors in my More Black Success ebooks. I also promote other authors' posts on Twitter (@Zhana21 and @ZhanaHeals).

So please share below your recommendations for the best ways to support other authors. I await your responses.

How to Become a Bestselling Book Author

I am researching book marketing and I've come across the work of John Kremer.

This is a great new post by him:

Self-Publishing Tips: How to Become a Bestselling Book Author

He gives lots of examples of ordinary people who made their books bestsellers through hard work: ongoing, consistent action. I really enjoyed this. I think you will, too.
