Training Workshop on Gender-Based Violence
When the Week of Nonviolence (now the Month of Nonviolence) first started, it was very focused on activities and events in the U.S.A.
I am delighted that we are now receiving reports on activities during the Month of Nonviolence from further afield, including Nigeria and this one from Malawi.

The Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence 2025

Every day on the news, we see evidence of what happens when people try to resolve their issues through using violence. In Gaza, in Ukraine, in Russia, in Sudan, in Congo, in Rwanda, in Haiti and many other places. We see buildings that have been destroyed. Hospitals, schools and people’s homes turned to rubble. Children starving. It would be boring if it weren’t so heartbreaking.
More guns, more bombs, more ammunition, more planes, more drones – all they are good for is destruction. All they are good for is taking life and limb. We as a species still have not learned the lesson. Violence can never be resolved with violence. Violence can only be resolved with peace.
This is the 12th year of the Blogging Carnival for Nonviolence. Over the past 12 years, we have had blog posts about spirituality, police violence, children being bullied at school, the tragic loss of loved ones, parenting with peace and many more.
Go here for more info and to submit your blog post.
Please join us. Send us your thoughts and most importantly, your words. Share your experience. When have you encountered violence and how have you resolved it?
The future is in your hands.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Marshall Rosenberg, Israel & Palestine

Your blog post can be a book review. It could also be a written blog, an audio blog, a vlog, a poem - any way in which you choose to express yourself.
Marshall Rosenberg, the author of Nonviolent Communication, worked with people in Israel and Palestine, but he didn't consider he was making any progress until he started working with the children. The children are the future, as we all know.
