Day 3,636: Screem
We watched The Ring tonight. It’s funny, I didn’t realize that movie was PG-13. And it plays like it; no real gore or violence. But, the crazy thing is: it’s still scary as fuck. Day 3,634: Caught Up
I finished Stray tonight. What a fun game! The design was breathtaking. Gameplay was pretty straightforward and easy, but in a fun way. Really, really enjoyed it, and it’s the first game that I’ve played and finished in a very, very long time. Years. I want to play more. I think maybe Horizon Zero dawn next? Maybe? We’ll see.

Day 3,633: Catching Up
Whew. LONG day today. Longest work day in a little while. I got the big project done. Tomorrow, the small project, and then after that I’m hoping that I have the rest of the week to wrap things up on my book. Decent amount of work there.

Day 3,632: What A Beast
Bang bang, Niner Gang. We demolished the Cowboys tonight on Sunday Night Football. It’s the best team we’ve faced thus far, and I definitely wouldn’t say I was worried about the game, but I was curious as to how we’d look against a plus defense and a good offense.
We looked good. Very, very good.
Next week, we face off against a legit GREAT defense. That will be very interesting. We scored 42 tonight on six touchdowns. That’s not going to happen against the Browns. But, the Browns offense ...

Day 3,631: A Six
The dogs really help me. They really make going to bed doable. It’s the routine of it. The coziness. They put me in the mood for sleep and rest and I really am very grateful for that. It’s such a wonderful thing I get to experience every night.
Working through the weekend, unfortunately. I have writing work to do, but I have to get these Netflix projects on my plate taken care of first. Maybe not completely finished, but on automatic pilot, essentially, otherwise I can’t focus on the writing ...

Had a wonderful date night tonight with Bear! We went over the hill to the little Sawtelle neighborhood and had Killer Noodle, which I haven’t had in way waaaaaayyyy too long. That shit is legit one of my favorite meals. I crave that. Spicy dan dan noodles. Like, super spicy. That kind of spicy that builds the more you eat it. Uuuggghh. Day 3,628: Strongly Worded
Busy work day today! And I got word from my cowriter that our editor has finished with the manuscript, so tomorrow morning I dive back into that to get it ready to ship out. Ahead of the game this time. A bit. A month earlier would have been nice, but whatever. It’s not nearly as mad-dash as the last one was. Learned my lesson there. Whew!
It’s kind of wild that I can put together a book as quick as I can now. Pretty cool.
