Day 3,598: Birthday!

I had homemade Boston Cream Pie for dinner, and then we sat down and watched a movie. I enjoyed it! Since the unions are on strike, I’ll refrain from posting exactly what it was, but Chris Pine was delightful in it. Hopefully that’s enough for me to remember years in the future what it was, ha 🙂

Day 3,597: Unbirthday

The work. It continues! Sigh. I still got pages done today. As many as I honestly could. More tomorrow. And…my birthday 🙂 Liz is making me a Boston Cream Pie! And I’m helping. It’s fun.

Day 3,596: Beethoven

JOY IS AN UNDER THE COVERS DOG. Breaking news. She’s just so SNUGGLY.

I finally finally feel like I got caught up on work today. Whew. The deck is clear, and I can finish my goddamn book in a few days. Several days, to be clear, and there is still more work to be done, but I think today’s 13-hour day will be my last, and I can go back to a regular schedule. Whew!

Day 3,595: Using My Brain

I needed another zonked out day today, apparently, so I took it. I woke up, though, and did the start of a writing sesh, then pooped out. Back at it tomorrow. Really, really want to finish this book. Wish me luck.

Day 3,594: Do Me

I find myself thinking about “how do I just do me?”

What is my personal angle, point of view, and/or voice that’s JUST me? And not because writing with a market in mind, or picking a genre outside of my comfort zone hasn’t been successful…but I do still feel like I haven’t quite found myself completely. Day 3,593: Whadda Week

Man. What a week. I was so freaking busy with work. Insanity.

Weekend plans? Finish my damn book. So, more work ahead. Sigh. But…I have the energy. I have the desire. I can do it. Not this weekend, to be clear. It’s going to take longer than two days to finish this thing. More like a week. BUT, I’m still close. Really, really close.

And on that note, I’m off to bed. EARLY. Gonna get up and get my writing in before I take Coops to see the vet. Woohoo. Night night.

Day 3,592: X-Wang

Has to be a quick one tonight because I am WIPED and it’s already past bed time.

Work. Workworkworkwork. SO MUCH WORK today.

But…I’m in good shape. I got almost all of it done, and the rest I can finish tomorrow. Whew!

Day 3,591: Anniversary!

Nine years. NineTEEN, really, but Liz and I have been married for nine years. It’s kinda hard to put that in perspective. That’s a full quarter of my life, I guess. And we’ve been together for half of it. That is wild. And yet…it’s not. Because it honestly feels like the most natural thing in the world. Liz is a part of me. And we’re happy together. So, so happy.

Missing Coco tonight. And realizing that Joe’s room doesn’t have very good WiFi. I’m…gonna have to fix that. It’s annoying, too. This mesh system we have is supposed to span 8,000 square feet, which is 1,000 more than our entire lot size. Bollocks.

Day 3,589: Yak Bone Treat Ball

Odd week. Totally out of my groove. But, I’m turning that around tomorrow. Back into it, and getting this book done. Man, I really want to finish it. Really REALLY want to finish it.

I did test-streams today for two of the setups. They did great! No issues. Everything worked exactly how it was supposed to. Whew! Still need to figure out some image stuff.
