Fast and Furious Thriller Action

This week’s ebook opportunity comes in the form of a Fast-Paced Thriller Collection of stories to buy – all at amazingly fabulous rates. If you like mysteries, suspense or thrillers and you want to read books then the offer is the best you will find this side of the Milky Way. Perhaps I’m overselling here, but there are some great stories to grab nonetheless.

Fill your boots.

Welcome to the world of Apple Books, B&N Nook and Kobo

Just a quick word about a change of buying options for you in the future.

Up until now, my books have only been available on Amazon but I am now throwing the net wider to include Apple Books, Barnes & Noble/the Nook and Kobo. I will update the website once all the books are on all these platforms, which will take a week or so. Right now, The Heist and The Getaway are ready but the others are not just yet.

As part of this shift in my marketing strategy, I am making The Heist permanently free on all platforms, although I have yet to get the price matched on Amazon right now. I am hoping that will happen over the coming seven days.

All the other books in the Lagotti Family series will retail at $4.99/£4.99/€4.99 and that will be the price for stand-alone novels too.

I have only been on the other platforms a couple of days but I can see that, for example, B&N and Kobo Canada are already proving themselves to be excellent places for my books to be available, which is a polite way for me to say that I’m already making sales.

Do let your friends know they can now get hold of my books if they are not part of the Amazon world.

Thanks for listening…

Several Suspenseful Samplers – for Surly Saracens?

A quickfire set of tales for you to download and read, most of which are short stories or novellas but you can be certain they are all either mysteries, suspense or thrillers. Hopefully there is something for everyone and your boots should be able to be filled to the brim with wordy bounty. Enjoy!

Reluctant Detective Can Be Yours

Author Tom Fowler has a free book opportunity I’d like to share with you for his novel, The Reluctant Detective.

It’s C.T.’s first case. He wants an easy one. Instead, he gets Alice.

C.T. Ferguson spent years as a hacker. He lived in Hong Kong, working against the Chinese government. Then they found him, threw him in jail, and eventually kicked him out. In Baltimore, C.T. sets himself up as a private investigator.

Then Alice walks in.

She’s sure her husband is cheating on her. C.T. looks into it but isn’t convinced. He soon discovers Alice has serious problems of her own.

When Alice’s troubles get even worse, C.T. finds his own life in danger. With a liar for a client and enforcers hounding him, can C.T. prevent his first case from becoming his last?

You’ll love The Reluctant Detective because it blends classic mystery with modern cyber intrigue.

Get it today.

Page-Burning Thrillers Alert

Another day, another chance to grab yourself some stories. The connecting theme is that the novels are thrillers so you can expect some excitement to come your way.

Of course, if you don’t want any excitement in your life then keep on walking down the bus. Or… fill your boots.

Paperback Lagotti Box Set

And here’s another thing. I am thinking of releasing a physical paperback box set version of The Lagotti Family which would comprise the four paperback books with a slipcase. This is the thing: the cost of the item will need to be at least £70 ($80+) once I include the cost of the books, the slipcase and packaging – and post on top of that.

Would you be interested in purchasing a copy? The reason I ask is that if there is enough demand then I will go ahead and manufacture the slip cases. If not, I’ll let it go as an idea and focus on other things. Do let me know if you are interested. Alternatively, if you’d be interested in a signed paperback copy of one of my books, I would be happy to set that up as an option on the website for maybe £19.99 instead of the standard £14.99 perhaps. Again, do let me know if you might want to get involved…

eBook Lagotti Box Set

I’m pleased to announce that The Lagotti Family series has launched as an eBook box set and is available for purchase from Amazon. It follows jailbird Frank and his girlfriend Mary Lou as they prepare to rob a bank (The Heist) and flee the scene of the crime (The Getaway). Then Mary Lou uses her haul money to build a drug-dealing business (Powder) and finally we see the family as Mary Lou grows old (Mama’s Gone).

Needless to say, buying the box set is much cheaper than getting each book separately, so if you’ve liked one, grab a copy of the box set now.

Some dwarves were taller though

Another pile of free books for the taking. This time they are no-cost thrillers, mainly shorts and called Thriller Shorts, which is as punchy a title as you are going to find this side of Thanksgiving. It’s a second opportunity this week to grab a copy of The Stickup, my Lagotti Family short, but there are many other options open to you.

Fill that footwear.

Even dwarves started small

And here is a short story opportunity for those who like their tales of limited pagination but free. It is called Flash Fiction but it contains a bunch of books that are far from all flash fiction itself. Some are novellas, others are not but they are all zero cost – apart from your time to click on the link.

Fill your boots.

The Case Blog Tour has passed

Now the dust has settled on the Blog Tour organised by Emma at damppebbles, I thought I’d give you a flavour of what the reviewers said. Before I begin, a special thank you to Emma who did a brilliant job of putting the entire tour together. Here are some words ripped from the blogosphere:

“This is dark, violent and at times sexy, and shows the seedy and unpleasant side to the characters and the lifestyle they lead… a compelling and entertaining read.” The Bookwormery

“The writing is sharp, descriptive and keeps you gripped with short punchy paragraphs and chapters that makes it very easy to keep turning. Pure classic pulp fiction, it’s crime noir at its absolute best.” Alex J Book Reviews

“The Case definitely gives me pulp fiction vibes, I’ve never read such a gritty noir book like this.” Feed The Crime

“Full of suspense, thrills and spills, this stand alone pulp fiction novel is too good to put down. With non-stop action on every page, it keeps you pulled in and gripped with the writing so explicit that you picture exactly what’s happening…if you dare!” The Only Way is Books

“Gritty, noirish and dark, yet not devoid of patches of humour to lighten the mood, this book is not for the easily offended.” Rachel Read It

“It’s pulp fiction with a noirish vibe. It’s a lot different from the Lagotti Family series, but clearly the author likes to play with the murky depths people are willing to go to.” Cheryl M-M’s Book Blog

“The story is gritty and does not pull any punches.” A Little Book Problem

“The author builds up a story laden with tension, layered with punchy dialogue and creates a novel that has a cult feeling to it.” Booksaremycwtches

“Borstinski really does have a way with words and another one of his books I have enjoyed reading.” Lost in the Land of Books
