And there’s nothing wrong with that as far as I’m concerned. So if that floats your boat, I’d like to recommend you investigate The Bloodstained Bride and all she has to offer. Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been working behind the scenes of the web site to reconstruct the back-end processing so that as my novels become more successful, I will be able to sell more than just eBooks on the site. Initially, I shall offer signed paperback copies and then I might move into other directions: along with the classic mug or bookmark options, I also like the idea of cufflinks. I wear them myself already and it makes me feel good to know I’m sporting highly unusual clothing accessories.
While I was under the head messing about with the tech, I decided to take the opportunity to alter the look-and-feel of the site too. I’ve taken away some of the brightness and replaced it with various shades of grey with a splash of purple. Why? I like the colour scheme (good start) and because my stories tend to be quite dark and I want the site to reflect what you get when you open one of my books.
No doubt I have made many mistakes and links will have broken etc but do let me know what you think of the new site.
Jumpin’ Jack: We’re Talkin’ Jive

My author friend Erik Carter has just released Talkin’ Jive, the latest book in his pulse-pounding Dale Conley Action Thrillers Series. And for a limited time, you can grab your copy for ONLY 99c – regular price: $4.99. All the books in the Dale Conley series can be read as stand-alone adventures, so new readers can jump right into the series with Talkin’ Jive.
AMERICA’S NUCLEAR WEAPONS CACHE IS UNDER ATTACK. AND NO ONE KNOWS WHO’S DOING THE ATTACKING.
In hindsight, Dale Conley should have known better. He was a fool to get on that plane. But it’s not every day you get an anonymous note begging for your help at a nuclear weapons facility. Dale stumbles into a dark web of confusion, one filled with Russian spies, a silver-tongued madman who thinks he’s a prophet, and the most destructive technology ever created. As Dale puts more of the clues together, it only pulls him further into the uncertainty.
With Cold War tension boiling around him and an attack on American soil imminent, will Dale be able to make sense of it all before it’s too late?
If you like fast-paced action, sinister conspiracies, and loads of humor, then you’ll love this page-turning series, perfect for readers of Lee Child and Dan Brown and for fans of Indiana Jones and James Bond movies.
On top of that, all books in the Dale Conley series are FREE to members of Kindle Unlimited. Here are some links for you to fill your boots with a copy of Talkin’ Jive:

Can we trust Amazon reviews?

A recent article in The Guardian foregrounded some interesting also failures at Amazon reviews for major works have been merged, or bundled, with lower quality books.
For the record, this is a problem I can only imagine having as a problem. I am very happy if anyone is kind enough to write a review for one of my books. It helps me progress and grow as a writer, based on the feedback I am able to read and by encouraging others to read my novels and help me be a more successful writer.
Anyway, having a book title of the same name appears to have caused some confusion along the way. Sounds like an excellent reason for an author to have their own ISBN as well as using Amazon’s ASIN system.
