The Lagotti Family has cleaned up its act

I am pleased to announce that the Lagotti Family and all its novels have been doused in soap and water. Now they are closed door thrillers.

To celebrate this renovation, I have revamped their covers – as I have already mentioned – and now I am offering you a discount on any or all of the books in the series if you purchase them direct from my web site. Go to www.leob.ws and use the discount code Lagotti50 to receive a 50% discount on ebook versions of The Getaway, Powder, Mama’s Gone and The Lagotti Family Collection. The Heist is currently free from all sales platforms so I’m not mentioning that now.

That’s a half-price deal you can only get when you buy straight from me and it only runs until the end of February, so hurry while stocks last (yes, I know it is an electronic file and stocks are infinite but I am in pitching here).

Please do fill your boots. You’ll make a middle-aged writer very happy.

Leo

PS All the books are delivered to you via BookFunnel so it is easy to get them onto your e-reading device.

It’s Brutal out there

Here is an opportunity from fellow author, Sonya Jesus. Let me tell you about her Brutal & Raw psychological thriller. Or rather, let Sonya describe the story herself…

He wanted everything. He could have my nothings too.

My whole life, I’ve been running, living just under the radar. The day I arrived on the East Coast, looking for a new start, I found an end instead. One careless night landed me in the hands of a dark mafia boss, who wanted nothing more than to render me a number—to eviscerate my identity with his brutal mind game.

327.

That’s what he called me. That’s all I was to him.

At least at first, before Breaker Beneventi told me all his family secrets, trickled his way into my heart, and then ordered my death. He set me free, knowing the butcher would find me.

Now, I’m the girl who escaped. The one with the power to destroy his organization. And he’s relentlessly searching for Lyla Vaughn all over the country, spilling the blood of innocents and losing his control.

But he’s not going to find me. Because that’s not my name.

From Bestselling author Sonya Jesus comes “Brutal and Raw” a psychological thriller romance full of plot twists, interwoven with dark mafia romance. Breaker’s world is not light-hearted.

Straight-Up Sizzling

Another opportunity to grab yourself a bundle of books of a warm, some might say steamy, nature. The promotion is called Straight-up Sizzle and it offers what it says on the tin, although to be clear you’ll get access to some stories to buy – these are quality tales with a fee attached. And they will most certainly be worth the purchase price.

Fill your boots, why don’t you?

Will you be my steamy Valentine?

Those of you who follow the cycle of greeting card opportunities around the year will be aware that February 14 has a special name. To celebrate this fact, I’d like to offer you access to the French Kiss FebruaryFrench Kiss February promotion of steamy tales at this time of the year,

I must admit there are quite a few bare-chest covers but they are not all like that.

Kinky Valentine

For those who like their tales steamy, I have a free collection of stories for you to enjoy. It is called Erotic Valentine and the name speaks for itself, I’d say. In case it is not as obvious as I think, these are steamy stories and are available in February, the month which contains the celebration of St. Valentine. Enough said?

Fill your boots.

Just a quick note

This week I’ve been putting the finishing touches to the so-called closed door versions of the Lagotti Family books, which editing-wise is now complete. I have also uploaded the fresh versions to the main sales platforms: Amazon, Kobo, Apple, B&N, Google Play. Shortly I shall polish off the changes to the web site and then I’ll give loyal readers a discount code, but that is a week or two away from happening. In the meantime, I have taken advantage of the new editions to update the covers for The Heist, The Getaway and Powder. I left Mama’s Gone alone as it is an exquisite picture and I had no desire to go changing it. Paperback versions will take a little longer to get sorted just because I am itching to get back to some original writing.

My next piece of news is that the East Side Hustler is in its final phases of editing (thanks as ever to my editor, Melanie) and will be hitting the streets in early March. Further updates on this nearer the time. Needless to say, I am super excited as it is the story I am most proud of. No really.

Catch ya later…

Mob guys for nothing

This week I’d like to introduce you to a January collection of zero-cost crime books called Free Gangster Crime Thrillers. I doubt if it will be much of a surprise if I tell you that it contains no-charge novels from the crime and thriller genres. If it is a surprise then… spoiler alert.

Okay, enough of the frivolity – fill your boots.

Alex in the Ukraine

Okay, so this is a quick update of what I’ve been up to in the last week or so.

First, I went to see the film ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ for the umpteenth time, a musical tale of a Jewish family facing pogrom’s and patriarchy in the depths of Mother Russia. With some cracking good tunes. After I’d dried the shed tears at the end of the movie, I thought how I had set up Alex Cohen and his family to be the logical consequences of a group of people fleeing their erstwhile home for a new land, which may or may not contain opportunity.

Fast forward a few days and I have been circling round a decision: which prequel story to write about Alex Cohen – one covering Alex’s family’s flight to the US or an episode in Sarah’s life. And the winner is… probably Alex in the short term. I am inevitably not going to let go of the Sarah idea, but my current plan is to situate Alex in a village in the Ukraine and watch his last few days in the country. Once it is ready for release, I’ll let you know where to get hold of it. We are talking weeks not months, although that is definitely not days. These things take time to cook.
