Dance to the Groove of Your Own Beat

You are your own authority in your own life, do what you do with integrity and love and everyone else will dance beside you in joy.

When you open your eyes to the beauty and opportunities surrounding you you will be surprised about the miracles that have already happened for you.

Six on Saturday – The Sun has Come out to Play

It’s a deliciously sunny day today and will be even warmer tomorrow. There are sky larks serenading us all day long with their sweet mating tunes. The little honeyeater birds darting about the place eating juicy spring insects. It is tempting just to sit on a garden chair to soak up the sun’s warm rays but there are lots of garden tasks to do. My garden looks heavenly in spring but because of all the residual moisture in the garden, it this time, when I spend a lot of time weeding. As my garden matures and the garden beds fill up there will be less room for weeds and more time for playing.

Yesterday the lovely crabapple Malus floribunda has started to bloom , which is always a treat at this time of year. A bit later the fruiting apples will blossom too. Eremophila (emu bush) Silky lavender will one day turn into a medium sized shrub. I love the way once they are established emu bush need no additional water from me. Good for the tricky dry areas of the garden. My favorite pink daisy bush, provides a welcome burst of colour as all of my other marguerites are different versions of white. Rosemary Tuscan Blue, native purple hibiscus, osteospermum purple and the lovely arctotis in a side view of my new rose garden. The roses haven’t started flowering yet but the companion shrubs have. My favourite emu bush Eremophila nivea gas started to flower. I love the downy grey foliage contrasting with the light lavender flowers. Occasionally I get to grow one by cutting, otherwise I have to obtain them from the nursery. Pretty fairy-grown silenes, are still blooming away. they make great accompaniment to spring bulb pots. This might be my future choice for underplanting spring bulbs. Thanks fairies for the great idea!

Thanks for visiting today. Have a great weekend. Happy Gardening! ❤ – Sarah

Six on Saturday – Slow Spring Wonders

It has been a little blustery the last few days, I have been gardening dodging showers.

Still planting the last of the new fruit trees. I planted two citrus trees, a Lemonade (a mixture between a lemon and lime, good for a natural tangy salad dressing) tree and a Mediterranean Sweet orange tree, to have a fragrant fruiting windbreak to my new rose garden area. I also have a white mulberry tree to plant.

The daffodils are fatter and more impressive after long cold winter

My ‘ lawn’ in the processes of being mowed by the free range bantam chickens. Your Plants Really Are Your Friends in the Garden

Your Plants really are your friends in the garden!

Daffodils – What do you say on this topic?

“We say ‘hooray’ at least we are seen as we are, little pieces of spirit from God rather than purely as an expendable decoration in the garden”.

Allow Your Life to Flow With Ease and With Grace

There is a grace and a sacredness to ease. Life is not suppose to be an uphill battle, it is supposed to be fun. It is supposed to flow with ease. Sit back, relax and think big thoughts and dream great dreams. It is these dreams and positive expectations that will do the work for you. Much love.•´¨`•✿¸.• •✿

Six on Saturday – Whispers of Delight

This week the garden has gone up a gear and is starting to come to life after a long cold winter. The Ash trees are starting to get their leaves. More flowers are daring to bare their blooms in the still cold weather.

I am still planting deciduous fruit trees and roses and happily distributing cutting grown perennials around the garden.

Each day a favourite plant starts to bloom again.

Scrumptious seed sown snapdragon. The lovely purple bells of this native eremophila, emu bush delight every spring. Down a secret daisy nook.New purple eremophila Beryls choice, has soft downy grey leaves.Cute miniature daffodils pearing out of the bed of calendulas. Tree lucerne smothered in fragrant blossoms is attracting lots of honeyeater birds to sup on the bloomsCute pink Italian lavender saved from a plant discount trolley.

I’m off to get my hands dirty.

Happy Gardening! 🌼💞🦋🌸

Six on Saturday – Happy Spring

Here is my six weekly photos. I won’t right much as we are due to go to a market. I hope you all have a great gardening week. Much love. xx

First daffodils peeping through and purple emu bush, I found on a nursery discount trolley with no label. I can’t resist a purple emu bush and have a little collection of them in my garden! They look a little like Canterbury bells. The kind of plant that you can plant and forget! Manchurian Pear, Pink rosemary and white daisies. My rosmaries at this time of year provide as much colour as other plants and I use them as decorative plant in their own right. With the added bonus that you can eat them. The sumptuous tree lucerne and daisies. I remember one year that the tree lucerne by far outshone, the flowering blossom trees that I had deliberately planted for their blossom bounty. Now I look for places to deliberately plant this drought hardy plant. This one came up of its own accord in our new garden area. This retaining wall garden is late to flower this year because our winter and spring have been so cold. Incidental pots of self sown silene and grape hyacinth and mauve hyacinth, plus a pussycat. Some plants are due to go in the garden when I find a suitable place. A gorgeous new variety of pink ostespermum one of many new ones sown by the fairies in my garden!

Have a great week lovely people! ❤

You Have a History With Your Garden Plants, They Know What you Did Yesterday

Your garden plants are conscious, and even have a memory of what you did in the garden yesterday or last week! They have a memory via their fairy, who is the conscious part of the plants. I have had conversations with my plants via their fairies and one time in conversation with them they remembered what I did in my garden the day before, and remembered minute details of what I did, when I myself forgot!

Daffodils, Do you carry a memory of what I do from year to year?

“We go into a dormant state for a part of the year but our fairy stays awake and alert and is building up the starch and sugars in our bulb. We have an awareness of what you are doing at all times but in our case we do not pay much heed as we are busy in our dormancy and then eventual blossoming. The trees have more fairies and their main fairy has more time on their hands and they have more time to observe and record what humans do.”

Oh interesting I’ll go and ask a tree!
