Alterations (An Elemental Witch Trials Novel Book 5) by Lucretia Stanhope

After 20 years of “peace” Gwen was awakened and finally privy to Timofei’s sinister plans for her kind. With everyone gone from her life (Sebastian, Yardley, Dillon) Gwen has to accomplish the impossible by herself. I luv watching her character grow from strength to strength with each book. She’s now not only a powerful witch but a resilient and resourceful one pitting dangerous mind games against two powerful vampires. As the stakes rise, Gwen indulged in more cakes and knitting – well, glad...

Familiar Betrayal (An Elemental Witch Trials Novel Book 4) by Lucretia Stanhope

When I first read book 1 I thought to myself it was so good that I’ll probably take up knitting or devouring the entire series. Well, here I am at book 4 which is by far my most favorite because Gwen finally got her sweet revenge and some peace. I’m not sure how to feel about her powerful new “suitor” Timofei who is charming and suspicious at the same time. Nonetheless, Timofei won the maiden’s heart because he know sometimes the way to a woman’s heart / stomach is through cakes. Looking forw...

Fateful Attractions (An Elemental Witch Trials Novel Book 3) by Lucretia Stanhope

Our heroine has graduated from a steady diet of coffee, pizzas & cakes to baking & cooking for her love interests. Unfortunately her love life has not progressed because Dmitry the psycho possessive royal vampire forced her soul mate aka Sebastian and heart’s desire Dillon to push her away. Dmitry’s manipulation to plant Shane as her new love interest led to further complications and cracks in her strained relationships with Sebastian and Dillon. As an avid follower from book 1, I still favor...

UNTIL NOW an Auto’Pup’Ography by Marianne Reese

Gixxer the golden retriever is an innocent and adorable character. Full of mischief and utterly spoiled by his loving pawrents. I love the chapter “Terrible Two” which I always thought only apply to human children. Never knew it applied to dogs too. This book is entertaining and funny with Gixxer’s voice saying stuff like “I got to sniff every blade of grass and bush along the way. In a dog’s world that is just like reading a really good gossip magazine “. Paws up for this pawsome book!

Yes, God is a Mathematician: The secret scientific model of Creation and Reality encoded within the Vedas is revealed in the form of a story by Dhanesh Kumar M

This book will satisfy the inner geek or mathematician in you. Unfortunately, the idea and concept presented was way over my head although the author did his best to present his theories in a classroom environment for the readers. There are many diagrams and pictures in this book, so it’s best to read it in a tablet instead of a monochrome Kindle. At the end of the day, one really do not need math or science to believe in a higher power. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Du Lac Chronicles: Book 1 by Mary Anne Yarde

I read book 2 and liked it so much that I picked up book 1. The story jumps right into the heart of action with King Alden being held as a prisoner. Compared to book 2, Alden’s story is somewhat more slow paced and only picking up towards the end. After reading both books, I find Merton a much more colorful character in his swashbuckling way. Annis the lead female character while brave is often agonizingly insecure in Alden’s commitment to her. I note with amusement women drank alcohol even w...

Burning Captivation (An Elemental Witch Trials Novel Book 2) by Lucretia Stanhope

Book 2 plunged right into the heart of the story. Now Gwen faces danger from all sides with no help from Sebastian and Lewis. But Gwen’s instincts led her to make the right decisions throughout thus saving further bloodshed and loss. Lots of vampires in book 2 and well, not the nice ones likes Sebastian. Our heroine once again prevail but at a great price. Will our heroine ever find peace and love with Sebastian? With great power comes great responsibility and our heroine is forced to choose...

Love So Strong by Marianne Reese

Story starts off really romantic and then it turns a bit mysterious before getting downright scary. But thank goodness it ended well. A fun and quick read if you’re sitting in your PJ sipping some wine after putting the kids to bed. Now, can someone please tell me where to find a dashing rich vampire? ⭐⭐⭐⭐
