Freedom Writing: Be Free Through Writing Therapy by Suzanne Strong

I started writing since young, but I stopped writing “personal stuff” after my best friend in school read my diary. I no longer felt safe to write anything too personal. But at the beginning of this year something very traumatic happened and I couldn’t put it out of my head until I sat down to write freely what I was feeling. It was the only thing that brought me some relief from that traumatic accident. This book really validated what writing did for me and thanks to the author I’ll now writ...

Divided Serenity (Divided World Book 1) by G.L. Cromart

I’m really not a sc-fi fan but the imaginative world and interesting characters helped made this book somewhat likeable. I had a little trouble keeping up with the story as I stopped many times in-between. But I’m really more impressed by how the author came up with this elaborate alternative universe. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Moms with Secrets – The Tea Bag Drug Company (Tammy & Lisa Mom Detectives Book 1) by Bena Roberts

Very entertaining and funny book. I like the author’s unique style of storytelling by alternating between both mothers – Tammy & Lisa’s point of view. The only small disappointment was I read till the end before realizing I’ve to wait for part 2 to find out what’s happening with the boys (and the husband). ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Forever Night Stand – a second chance romance by Bena Roberts

An entertaining fast paced book written in a very unique manner. I enjoyed the dark humor and how the author alternates between Sara and George thus giving readers two different perspectives to the story. What happens if you meet the right person but at the wrong time, like Sara and George? A twist of fate finally led to George confessing his true feelings after 18.5 years too late… or is it better late than never? ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unclog Your Happiness: A Practical Guide to Living Blissfully by David Ring III

The 3 meditations in the book are easy to follow and totally doable for a beginner. I really like the chapter on labels. With my newfound awareness of labels now, I realized I get into a state of calmness quickly. A state where I can respond instead of being reactive. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Asael’s Nature (A Series of Angels Book 3) by Joel Crofoot

If you’ve never thought of angels in body piercings, Asael will give you plenty to imagine with his body piercings and penchant for BDSM. Asael is really an angel with commitment issues hiding behind piercings and BDSM, until he met Isda who was smart enough to let him discover his true feelings. Fun and fast read with lots of steamy scenes. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ramatel’s Vow (A Series of Angels Book 2) by Joel Crofoot

These are not your typical angels in white robes and feathery wings but fallen angels who look more like ultra fit sexy commandos in utility pants. The author take angels we’re familiar with and turned them into brooding hotties with a shady past. Fun read and enough juicy parts to keep you turning the page to find out how it will end for Ramatel and Clara.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Feral: A Dark Paranormal Fantasy Novel (Paranormal Peacekeepers Book 2) by Lucretia Stanhope

A fast paced and exciting sequel. I like book 2 even better than the previous one. Probably because Amarok adds a bit of romance to the story and brings out the softer & protective side of Alice. Forget everything you read in the Elemental Witch series, because this series is totally different and offers a fresh appeal if you’re looking for something new. Looking forward to book 3! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Buried Deep in our Hearts by Tracie Barton-Barrett

It’s been a long time since I allowed myself to fully mourn the loss of my “babies”. I realized I belonged to the category who “bury their feelings by being busy”. Even after all these years, I’ve never forgotten any of them. I only wish it wasn’t the “ending” that I remembered so much but the good times and joy they brought to my life no matter  how short a time it was. This book is a timely reminder that tomorrow is not promised and I’m now mindfully spending more time with my beloved kitty...

Serenity Shattered (An Elemental Witch Trials Novel Book 11) by Lucretia Stanhope

It was about time Kyna was given some limelight of her own. Really enjoyed this latest installment. I must say I haven’t been that excited about this series for awhile until this latest development in the story. Really looking forward to the next book to find out how far Kyna will go in succeeding in her new mission. Thumbs up!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
