Searching for the Perfect Title

Just want to keep you all in the loop about my WIP. It's the second book in my Cancordian Adventure trilogy (the first was THE ROAD TO CORDA.) I've tentatively titled it Escape From Cordia. The trouble with Escape as a title, is that I'm not sure it captures the flavor of the story.
Who knew series titles could be so difficult?
The story continues to follow Ja'Nil and Ee'Rick, as they try to deal Read more of this blog post »

Virginia Woolf
“Therefore I would ask you to write all kinds of books, hesitating at no subject however trivial or however vast. By hook or by crook, I hope that you will possess yourselves of money enough to travel and to idle, to contemplate the future or the past of the world, to dream over books and loiter at street corners and let the line of thought dip deep into the stream. For I am by no means confining you to fiction. If you would please me - and there are thousands like me - you would write books of travel and adventure, and research and scholarship, and history and biography, and criticism and philosophy and science. By so doing you will certainly profit the art of fiction. For books have a way of influencing each other. Fiction will be much the better for standing cheek by jowl with poetry and philosophy.”
Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own

James Rozoff
“It is a single paradigm, and single paradigms, no matter how helpful in and of themselves, can be dangerous. They become the thing they are supposed to represent in the mind of the believer. In religion, it is known as idolatry, worshipping the statue that is merely the representation of the real. Most people only give themselves so much to a single point of view, whether they admit it to themselves or not. To believe, to truly believe, is to do. When one accepts a single paradigm, he becomes a true believer. There is nothing quite so rare…or so dangerous.”
James Rozoff, Perchance to Dream

“If only money was as capable of caring about people as much as people care about money.”

Robert Frost
“Only where love and need are one,
And the work is play for mortal stakes
Is the deed ever truly done
For Heaven and the future's sakes”
