What’s the first book you remember reading?

Wow. No idea. Something simple I’m sure. I read a lot as a kid and started out reading the basics. Some of the earliest books I remember reading were the Berenstain Bears books. I re...

Hello! I’m Azshure, or Az for short. I write romantasy/dark fantasy, and something that has been called “final fantasy,” yes, just like the video games. I’m a mostly-stay-at-home mom of three and I have one black kitty named Luna. My most recent foray in writing has led to me working on a series of retellings, starting with a Twisted Beauty and the Beast one titled That Time I was Kidnapped by the Fae King.

collage of a year of kdp stat bars showing no break in sales since 7 march 2024. text says 'just one week to a year of book sales!' and there's an arrow showing where the streak began on the 7th of march 2024.

I self-published my first book in February 2017. This streak, my first, took me eight years to achieve. I’m really quite proud of it and I’m so happy to see my books and short stories reaching more readers!

If you want to help me get to the full year (which will be Friday!), now is the perfect week to buy one of my books or short stories!

Introduce yourself!

Hello! My name’s Dan Kretzer, and I’m a new indie author. I published my first fantasy novel, Sword of the Feara, in late 2023 and am working on my next book now. I am late to the game, having had a whole other career and family. But I always loved to write and a few years ago, my son told me he did not think he would ever be able to write a whole book. I started out to prove to him that it wasn’t that hard and when he read it, he said that I should try to make it a “r...
