Clash of Goddesses featured in Clarendon House Short Story Magazine #12

Clarendon House Publications – who published my short story collection Unfettered – have a series of short story magazines you can read for free! I was very excited to have my story Clash of Goddesses selected for issue #12.

This is one of the stories I give away for free to newsletter subscribers, but it’s so cool to see it published alongside some vivid images. I’ve selected my favorites below. They are not in any order, so don’t bother trying to read them.

If you would like to read (or re-read) my story, head to Clarendon House Free Items and you can read any and all of the magazines. I’ve circled issue #12 in the image below, so you can head straight there if you wish.

Lighthouse Lamentation Featured on the Horror Addicts Podcast

My story, Lighthouse Lamentation, has been produced as an audio story for HorrorAddicts.net podcast, Season 17. This is an abridged (cut for radio-listening pleasure) version of my story. It was previously published in HorrorAddict’s ‘Crescendo of Darkness Anthology’.

A lighthouse keeper receives an unexpected visitor. Trapped together due to a severe storm, the stranger’s behaviour becomes more unusual, until the keeper eventually begins to question his own sanity.

Listen to the episode HERE 📻 And you can read a brief and slightly amusing interview of me HERE 🗣

Music has the power to soothe the soul, drive people to obsession, and soundtrack evil plots. Is music the instigator of madness, or the key that unhinges the psychosis within? From guitar lessons in a graveyard and a baby allergic to music, to an infectious homicidal demo and melancholy tunes in a haunted lighthouse, Crescendo of Darkness will quench your thirst for horrifying audio fiction. Available at Amazon.

Eye of the Beholder is Heading to the Moon!

I have some exciting news. One of my stories will be going to the MOON! 🌕
As part of the the Lunar Codex. The Lunar Codex uses digital and analog technology to preserve art, books, music, and more, enclosed in time capsules and launched to the Moon. It is a message-in-a-bottle to the future. A number of anthologies, including UNCOMMON EVIL – which includes my story, Eye of the Beholder – will be inducted into the Polaris time capsule to be archived for the future via the 2023 SpaceX / Astrobotic Griffin / NASA VIPER rover mission to the Lunar South Pole.

This is truly amazing! A little piece of me on the moon 🌕

Astrobotic’s Griffen lander

More details can be found at #LunarCodex and check out the animation of Astrobotic’s Griffin lander delivering VIPER (Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover) to the moon.

Who knows. Maybe Aliens or future generations of humanoids will discover the time capsule and read my story and think, “Wow, what a sicko”  😂😂😂

To Be or Not To Be a Writer

Happy to say my essay has been included in To Be or Not To Be a Writer. 67 present-day published authors answer the question: To Be Or Not To Be A Writer? Their essays about their personal experiences as writers and authors include: What did you think being a writer would be like when you began and how has it actually turned out to be like so far? What are your personal tales of joys, triumphs or successes, or pitfalls, upsets or failures, as a writer? Who/what/where were your writing muses or influences. If they have changed over time, how so? Do you have a literary role model, who is it, and why them? What advice do you have for any beginning writer? Did you learn this yourself first-hand or from another source?

In this 2021 issue discover WHO the 128 emerging writers are, WHAT they have written, WHERE they live, WHEN they started writing, and WHY they write. Many of them have websites where you can find out even more about them. Open the pages of the Who’s Who of Emerging Writers 2021 and enter a world of unmatched writing talent.
