Fingers to the Bone

My short story FINGERS TO THE BONE has been published in Horrified Press’ ‘Bringing It Back Anthology’. A writer’s desperate attempt to cure his writer’s block may cost more than money.

My American Nightmare On Sale

From May 12th until May 19th, My American Nightmare will be on sale for only 99 cents (this is just for US Amazon, unfortunately!). My American Nightmare is a YA horror anthology and includes my story MR. BUTTONS’ TEA PARTY. 

Each story was inspired by a work of literature, television, film, or music, to create a unique spin on classic tales of terror, and are set in America.

Short Story Collection in the Works

My short story ‘A Flicker of Time‘, which was published in Flashpoint: The Inner Circle Writers’ Group Flash Fiction Anthology, was voted as best story in the anthology by the other writers. Super exciting and such an honor as there were forty other amazing stories to compete with!

As a result the editor/publisher of Clarendon House Publications is going to publish a collection of my own short stories. I’m very lucky to have this opportunity and look forward to sharing more stories with my awesome readers.

We have an estimated release date of around August, 2018. Currently I’m still compiling and editing stories for the as yet untitled collection, but I’ll keep you posted.

A Stitch in Time

My fantasy short story A STITCH IN TIME, has been in published by Clarendon House Publications in STORM: The Inner Circle Writers’ Group Fantasy Anthology 2018.

A magically imbued sword repeatedly turns up around Leanora’s home, no matter how many times she tries to dispose of it. Its relentless humming eventually forces her on a dangerous quest where she’ll encounter mages, fanatical cult members and a creature more frightening than those in her worst nightmares. But if she doesn’t go, the sword will never cease it’s melodic nagging.

“Think of it like this: the universe is an immense and wonderful stained glass window. Science and science fiction writers look at the structure of the window itself – how it is put together, what it does, how it works; the other way of looking at things, which gives rise to High Fantasy, looks through the window to see what’s outside. The range of stories in this anthology is immensely wide – some comic, some traditional ‘sword and sorcery’ type tales, and some philosophical. Let’s see which ones help us to see through the window.”
