The stories in this issue feature more real life rock stars than any previous issue and in its pages you’ll meet members of Sex Pistols, Grateful Dead and Warrant as they have some really rough days, and more!

Bookworms of Oz

Have you been scouring the internet for a horror book subscription box from Australia? Well, your darkest bookish desires are about to be fulfilled.  Bookworms of Oz have recently launched and I am trembling with anticipation to get my first box.

I’m also excited to announce that I’ll be contributing content from time-to-time, including something in the January box; a little teaser to chill your blood and send tendrils of fear into your very soul.

Each Horror and the Unknown box will include 1 book and 4-6 creepy items related to horror/supernatural/paranormal, such as collectables and movie/book related memorabilia. There will be a new theme every month. Cut off date for the January box is the 31st of December, and the theme is ………The Undead!

Follow Me & Charred Memories

Two of my stories have been published in Horrified Press’ ‘Blood and Ashes’ Anthology. My flash fiction story FOLLOW ME is a story that warns of the dangers of walking alone late at night. My spooky short story CHARRED MEMORIES is the ghostly tale of a woman’s search for her missing husband, through the charred remains of the apartment block she once called home.

“Some times, the blood boils in the heat of the moment–leading to impetuous acts. They don’t call someone “hot-blooded” for nothing! But the heat fades, leaving the ashes of dreams and regrets behind. Until all that is left is cold-blooded, passionless cruelty.”

Visiting Hours

My creepy short story VISITING HOURS, has been published in ‘I Will Fight for You: A Charity Anthology for the Fight Against Cancer’. All profits from this anthology will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The story is about a man dying of cancer in a dingy hospital, who has lost all hope. I wrote it after I heard the news that my favorite uncle’s cancer had returned.

While this is a piece of fiction, my uncle’s situation obviously inspired me as I imagined how depressing and scary it would be returning to hospital after hearing news like that. It’s not an uplifting story, but like my editor says, “Unfortunately, not every fight has a happy outcome, especially when it comes to cancer”.

Featuring 17 stories of people fighting for their loved ones, some against cancer, others in a fictional world against a symbolic evil. ‘I Will Fight for You’ is available at Amazon.
