P.A.C.D. The Kitchen Of Tomorrow, Today!

My erotic horror story, P.A.C.D. THE KITCHEN OF TOMORROW, TODAY!, will be published in the Sinister Sheets anthology.  A neglectful husband buys his wife a futuristic Personal Automated Culinary Droid (P.A.C.D.), but it’s a recipe for disaster.

The exciting thing about Sinister Sheets is the black pages!

Sex and horror are often considered separate. Notable exceptions include the “sex means death” rule of slasher films; Stephen King’s GERALD’S GAME; and the danger of sex throughout Gillian Flynn’s dark novels. In this collection, erotic horror is best defined as literature that arouses the reader…and then makes them complicit in the horror that ensues because of that arousal. These stories will make you howl.

Available from Amazon AU/Amazon US.

Afterlife.com

My attempt at a sci-fi kind of short story, AFTERLIFE.COM has been published in Clarendon House Publications’ Tempest: The Inner Circle Writers’ Group Science Fiction and Fantasy Anthology 2019.

You’ll find dragons and other mysterious beasts aplenty in this book, along with spaceships and ray guns and witches and robots and futures good and bad. You’ll sometimes be shocked and chilled; at other times, you’ll be amused and touched. Step into universes which both extend our own and which lead far beyond the beaded curtain of the stars into worlds we have never known.

Available at Lulu (print) and Amazon AU/Amazon US (kindle).

The Beastmaster is a classic sword and sorcery tale, loosely based on the novel of the same name by Andre Norton, released in 1959. The Djinn

My -word story, THE DJINN has been published in Clarendon House Publication’s micro-fiction anthology, BLAZE: The Inner Circle Writer’s Group Flash Fiction Anthology. What’s fun about this anthology is that stories are separated into three categories; Less than 1000 words, less than 500 words and less then 50 words. Drabbles are all the range now so I thought I’d give a 50-word story a try. It was more challenging than you’d think.

“Writers are spellbinders, wizards, witches, working their magic with words, entrancing and enchanting us. Not for nothing does the word ‘spell’ mean a sequence of letters and a form of words used as a magical charm or incantation. In these tales, the sorcery has been restricted so that its glamour has to work in the space of fifty, five hundred or a thousand words: and work it does, as you will see. From disturbing darkness to light-hearted laughter, the authors within weave their wizardry, making you weep and laugh, feel and think, shiver and gasp, always wanting to turn the page.”

Available at Lulu (print) and Amazon (kindle).

Cool article from Broadswords and Blasters on a classic 80’s cartoon. I remember my brother, whose name is Zoltan, refering to himself as Zoltron: Defender of the Universe
