A New Experience
Meet college roommates Derek and Jordan. Jordan is frustrated and inexperienced; Derek quite literally gives him a hand.

Behind The Scenes: Always
Ah, unrequited love, that old bastard.
It’s horrible, isn’t it? A constant reminder that you’re not living your life quite right.
Always looks at two friends who had that with each other, who missed their moment, because it makes me think about what opportunities I have missed out on in life for not being brave enough to take a chance.
I suppose it is a particular kick in the teeth when the object of that unrequited love tells you, far too late, that they reciprocate. Timing is, apparently, e...

Sunday Thinking
Once upon a time, there was a beach, a beautiful stretch of sand composed of the erosion of thousands of years of life and the solid foundation of rock beneath its surface. The sea would visit it every day, in great blue waves that replenished the beach in life and sediment, yet took away with it shards and fragments to deposit elsewhere.
The beach was so very beautiful. Soft, golden sand underfoot that stretched on for mile upon untainted mile. Clean, crisp air that tasted of peace, and an e...
By Candlelight
An evening in a cabin in the middle of nowhere is the perfect place for this loved up couple to be making some lasting memories.

Behind The Scenes: Disposable
Disposable happened because of watching CSI. There is an episode where a guy is out drinking to celebrate being about to/having just joined the Bar, and on his drive home hits a pedestrian crossing the road. This person bleeds to death in the man’s garage, and whilst he originally had stepped out intentionally in front of the car, I guess I wanted revenge for him. Because no one is disposable, and however busy a person is doesn’t mean anyone else’s life is less important than theirs. Soapbox...

Behind The Scenes: Tainted By Our Choices
I started writing this story in early 2016, posted it, then took it down again and entirely changed it. The characters have been through one or two incarnations (ahem…) but I can honestly say that the two people this story is centred around I am very, very fond of indeed. It’s probably wrong to fall in love with your own characters, but honestly, these two. Such idiots in love.
So what’s it about? Well, essentially, and initially I suppose, this was supposed to be a little rant to the world a...

Permission
Todd and Eric have been fooling around together for a while now, though it’s never got beyond much more than a lot of drunken fumbling. That’s about to change…

Behind The Scenes: Tumble
This is a little love letter to my favourite animal, the wolf. Persecuted and punished for doing what comes naturally and often vilified when there is little reason or evidence for it, these beautiful creatures could teach us a thing or two about how we treat each other!
I love wolves, and have done my entire life. I would love one day to be in a position to study them better and work or assist in a field that helps their survival and development.
Read Tumble if you love wolves as much as I d...

Sunday Thinking
Hello!
Here’s the first of what I intend to be a regular, weekly post, and will do my best to stick to that… see what you think.
Now first, I should probably admit that I often say that all good stories start with
Once upon a time…
and end with
And they lived happily ever after
when clearly that is not always true, and I wasn’t paying nearly enough attention to Hans Christian Anderson’s Fairy tales when I was a child. However, let’s see if I can spin you a Sunday yarn around that idea. I’ve...
