Since I posted the article naming this man as a possible abuser, I think it only fair that I post his side of the story. I do not know if he is a saint or a devil, I'll leave that to the authorities to figure out, but I do want to be fair until the evidence is in.

This is just so tragic, and I wonder what (if anything) could have been done differently to prevent this outcome. My heart goes out to her parents and family, and those in the adoption community. Rest in peace, Emilie.
