Weekly Health Tip
Attach an emotion to a future image.
This helped me in my weight-loss journey and continues to motivate me for optimal health.
What do I mean by that? Early in my health journey, I envisioned getting into my Navy uniform that I hadn't worn for decades. I looked at it nearly every day, getting excited for the moment it would fit.
I attached an emotion to a future image, my uniform. I posted it and said I'd get into it before Christmas of 2020. That happened.
This motivated and kept me on the right path.
So...
Envision something you can't do now but want to when you get to your desired weight. Maybe it's new clothes, or something else. Then attach an emotion to that image. It creates a pathway in your brain and maps out a path forward.
