12. Religion and Spirituality
Religion is a very small part of spirituality whereas spirituality is beyond all forms of religion. In spirituality we connect with our soul & god or rather we experience our soul & god and as all of you know soul has no religion and god has no religion or in other words we can say that soul & god is beyond all religions. Religion was made by man not by god. Being a part of any religion gives you an identity, for example you become a hindu or muslim or sikh or christian but spirituality is going beyond all forms of your identity and becoming identity-less , becoming nothing. Religious practices were meant to purify people from within and lead them to god but today religious practices have become mere rituals to please their respective deities for their selfish gains. Any religion or any guru who says that they are the best and only through them or their practices you can reach god then it is absolutely false because by saying this the big fat ego has already come in the picture, so be careful !
11. Attack of evil forces and grace of maa kali
In your spiritual journey you may be attacked by evil forces. Sometimes the attack may be very severe. I have been attacked many times in my journey but the worst was from the year 2013 till 2016. Everything happens due to your prarabhdha karma and for your spiritual growth. Till 2013 I only used to do shiv sadhna but after 2013 I started doing shakti sadhna, that too of fierce deities like maa tara, maa dhoomavati, maa baglamukhi, maa pratyngira devi and maa kali to get rid of the attacks of these evil forces. Your spiritual journey is not complete till you have done sadhna of shiv and shakti both, where shiv is consciousness and shakti is energy. In april 2016 through the grace of maa kali I got free from all the attacks of evil forces. In the process I realized that I have become one with maa kali’s energies. This was the spiritual purpose of this whole episode in my life. I had done hanuman sadhna also during that time but it did not help me. It was ultimately maa kali’s grace that helped me and made me free from all the evil attacks. I thank maa kali for this.
