Ocaso
Llega el libro que cierra la Trilogía del Ocaso. No te la puedes perder…
SINOPSIS
¿Qué harías si te vieras atrapado en una vida que ya no quieres? El pasado vuelve otra vez a atacar de manera feroz con garras de acero a la pacífica zona del condado de Monterey, en California. El cuerpo de Policía de Carmel-by- the-Sea se verá nuevamente envuelto en una serie de crímenes e intrigas en las que todos se verán amenazados.
Los sucesos acontecidos en la segunda entrega de la trilogía impregnarán esta tercera parte, con consecuencias imprevisibles, con resultados inesperados para todos. Porque el idílico Carmel-by-the-Sea nunca volverá a ser el mismo.
Muchos frentes abiertos en esta novela. Por un lado, la hermana de la inspectora Kisha Jennings se enfrenta a amenazas de un desconocido. Por otro lado, están apareciendo en la playa de Monterey, en el mismo lugar en el que se dio por desaparecido a Stephen Meyer, varios cuerpos de hombres que han sufrido una violencia extrema. El primero lo encontraron cuando investigaban la desaparición del psiquiatra, pero nadie supuso que ese cadáver iniciaría una serie.
El peligro parece extenderse por la serena Carmel-by- the-Sea y sus alrededores, el miedo lo puebla todo. ¿Quién podrá detener esa escalada de crímenes?
A todo en esta vida le llega su ocaso…
Esa es una realidad que es imposible negar.

Twilight Trilogy now available
On Friday October 1st, Ocaso, the last book that closes the Trilogy of the same name in Spanish, was released with a more than remarkable acceptance, placing among the top bestsellers on Amazon as you can see in an image in this post. On the same day, in a very ambitious way, The Twilight Case was released, the translation and adaptation masterfully done by Jason Stover of the first book of the Trilogy, which is titled La Hora del Ocaso.
The sensations at the moment are excellent. The sales and readings through Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited program are being numerous, which makes me suspect that this Trilogy, in which there is a lot of illusion, without a doubt, may end up being talked about a lot.
All of them are available in the different formats offered by Jeff Bezos’ company, that is, ebook, softcover and hardcover. The result of the hardcover I must say is amazing.
I leave below the links of the different books to Amazon so you can start reading a little of each one and decide if it is worth it. Of course, listen well to the recommendation, start in order because La Hora del Ocaso and The Twilight Case can be understood by themselves but the rest of the Trilogy needs the others. El Ocaso de los Días could be a start, but you will need to read Ocaso to not get halfway through this fast-paced story that will take your breath away.

Trilogía Ocaso ya disponible
El pasado viernes 1 de octubre salió a la venta Ocaso, el último libro que cierra la Trilogía que lleva precisamente el mismo nombre, con una aceptación más que reseñable, colocándose entre los primeros puestos de los más vendidos en Amazon como podéis ver en una imagen en esta misma entrada. El mismo día, de manera sin duda ambiciosa, salió al mercado The Twilight Case, la traducción y adaptación hecha magistralmente por Jason Stover del primer libro de la Trilogía, el cual se titula La Hora del Ocaso.
Las sensaciones por el momento, son excelentes. Las ventas y las lecturas a través del programa Kindle Unlimited de Amazon están siendo numerosas, lo que me hace sospechar que puede que se acabe hablando y mucho de esta Trilogía en la cual hay mucha ilusión, sin duda.
Todos ellos están disponibles en los diferentes formatos que ofrece la empresa de Jeff Bezos, es decir, ebook, tapa blanda y tapa dura. El resultado de los tapa dura debo decir que es asombroso.
Os dejo a continuación los enlaces de los distintos libros a Amazon para que podáis empezar a leer un poco de cada uno y así podáis decidir si os merece la pena. Eso sí, escuchad bien la recomendación, empezad en orden porque La Hora del Ocaso y The Twilight Case se pueden entender por sí mismos pero el resto de la Trilogía precisa de los demás. El Ocaso de los Días podría ser un comienzo, pero necesitarás leer Ocaso para no quedarte a medias en esta trepidante historia que te va a quitar el aliento.

La transparencia de un instante
Ⓡⓔⓢⓔ ñ⃝ⓐ
Esta maravilla que veis en la imagen es el libro ilustrado 𝙇𝙖 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖 𝙙𝙚 𝙪𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙚 de @aliciaricoforte. Sólo puedo deciros que me ha encantado y que me alegro mucho de haberlo comprado por los motivos que os cuento a continuación:
Las pinturas 
son absolutamente preciosas. Los rostros tienen tal grado de realismo que lo difícil realmente es no identificar lo que está sintiendo o imaginar qué estará pasando por la cabeza de cada una de las ilustraciones. Me encantan los breves relatos o reflexiones que acompañan a las pinturas (nunca superan una página). Es muy fácil identificarse con ellos, te llegan directamente al corazón 
y hace incluso que te preguntes si no habrá estado escuchando la autora alguna de tus conversaciones del día a día 
porque habla de cosas tan cotidianas y cercanas que es casi imposible no identificarse con alguna.Otro punto fuerte es la forma de escribir 
de la autora. Como ya me pasó con otro de sus libros que leí, 𝒮𝒾𝑒𝓂𝓅𝓇𝑒 𝓆𝓊𝑒 𝓁𝓁𝑜𝓋𝒾ó, 𝓅𝒶𝓇ó, esa cercanía una vez más en el lenguaje te transmite la sensación de que aquello que estás leyendo te lo cuenta una amiga, con ese toque de familiaridad tan fascinante que @aliciaricoforte consigue en sus textos.Es un libro que no se acaba nunca y que, por tanto, no se agota en sí mismo, porque te invita a volver a sus páginas en cualquier momento, a aquella reflexión 
que te parece apropiada para un nuevo momento o para ver esas espectaculares imágenes de las que nunca te cansas una vez más.Y por último, se nota que está hecho con el corazón 
Podéis adquirirlo en Amazon pero, si me aceptáis el consejo, yo se lo pediría directamente a la autora (que por cierto, tiene un perfil muy interesante en #instagram) porque os perderíais los preciosos detallitos que adjunta. Son de esos que no acaban en un cajón, sino que los incorporas a tu vida.

Nos vemos en el Your Story Market
Mañana 11 de septiembre se celebra en Barcelona el Your Story Market y estoy muy contenta de anunciaros que estaré allí viviendo una bonita experiencia más. Seguramente me encontraré con otros autores que como yo están luchando por hacerse un hueco en este complejo y competitivo mundo de la literatura. Además, voy a conocer a algunos lectores con los que he compartido alguna lectura conjunta, lo cual resulta también emocionante. De hecho, creo que precisamente lo mejor de todo va a ser ponerle cara a muchas de las personas con las que interactúo, bien sea a través de Instagram o de algún grupo de Telegram. Traspasaremos la frialdad de las pantallas para darnos un cálido saludo. ¿No so parece maravilloso?

The void you leave behind
Can you feel the emptiness? Yes, of course. You feel it in such a way that it seems to permeate your skin, particle by particle, cell by cell. Can you feel the absence? Yes, without a doubt, because it surrounds you and envelops you, it fills everything with its mist.
It is a hollow sensation, like an echo that reverberates through the corners, that sneaks inside you when you least expect it, that surprises you by breaking a dam of unsuspecting tears. Absence in its maximum presence, emptiness in fullness.
When someone leaves, they do not fade away, but on the contrary, they become more present in your present, because they bring back memories of the past full of nuances and reality that assail you at the most unexpected moment. And in that instant time stops, because it transports you to a past in which absence did not exist and you want to stay there, where pain did not yet tear, where joy was the one that exercised a pleasant tyranny.
It is an emptiness that paradoxically fills everything. The daily routine, the habits and even the unexpected, because in his absence you want everything to be a lie, you want to think about something else and you want to ask the person who is no longer there how he would do it if he were in your place. Or, simply, you want to tell him or her, so that he listens to you and you laugh afterwards because, after all, nothing is so important as to rob us of a little piece of life, except death.
That one is hopeless.

El vacío que dejas
¿Se puede sentir el vacío? Sí, por supuesto. Se siente de tal manera que parece que te impregna la piel, partícula a partícula, célula a célula. ¿Se puede sentir la ausencia? Sí, sin duda, porque te rodea y te envuelve, lo llena todo con su bruma.
Es una sensación hueca, como un eco que reverbera por los rincones, que se te cuela dentro cuando menos te lo esperas, que te sorprende rompiendo un dique de lágrimas desprevenidas. La ausencia en su máxima presencia, el vacío en plenitud.
Cuando alguien se va no se desvanece, sino que muy al contrario se hace más presente en tu presente, porque te trae recuerdos del pasado plenos de matices y de realidad que te asaltan en el momento más inesperado. Y en ese instante el tiempo se detiene, porque te transporta a un pasado en el que la ausencia no existía y quieres quedarte ahí, donde aún el dolor no desgarraba, donde la alegría era la que ejercía una agradable tiranía.
Es un vacío que paradójicamente lo llena todo. La cotidianidad, las rutinas y hasta los imprevistos, porque en su ausencia quieres que todo sea mentira, quieres pensar en otra cosa y quieres preguntar a quien ya no está como lo haría si estuviera en tu lugar. O, simplemente, quieres contárselo, para que te escuche y os riáis después porque, al fin y al cabo, nada es tan importante como para robarnos un pedacito de vida, excepto la muerte.
Esa ya no tiene remedio.

BIG SUR, a route for adventurers
It is possibly one of the most beautiful roads in the world and, without a doubt, in the United States. This winding road stretches about 800 kilometers along the Californian coast, although not all of it runs along the sea. However, the part of the route that runs along the ocean is breathtakingly majestic. Dotted with impossible cliffs, it is impossible not to feel the need to stop every few kilometers so as not to miss any of its splendor.
It is said that the origin of the name of this region dates back to the arrival of the Spaniards from Monterey, who were absolutely impressed by its grandeur. The ascents and descents to sea level by steep cliffs of up to 300 meters are one of those images that take your breath away.
Big Sur is a very sparsely populated region of California. The little town that bears its name, in fact, is quite small. In fact, the most famous part of the area is precisely the route along which the Pacific Coast Highway runs from Carmel-by-the-Sea to Hearst Castle. The Pacific Coast Highway or State Route 1, as it is also known, connects San Francisco with San Diego, that is, almost the two most distant ends of California and is about 800 km long.
The Lone Cypress al fondo de la imagenThe inland landscape and the sea views are true jewels of nature. In fact, we find along its route different state parks such as the Point Lobos Nature Reserve. Inland you can see the Santa Lucia Mountains and the redwoods and sycamores of Los Padres National Forest. A real luxury for our eyes.
For those of you who have read my books of the Twilight Saga, perhaps you will understand a little better now why the places are so important in the novels that are part of the trilogy. I believe that they are also protagonists of the story in a singular way by providing it with an incomparable natural setting.
