Biblonde

Biblonde

You’re pretty pretty
I can’t tell you enough
How much water should envy
The contours of your body

And the way your hair looks
Biblonde and damp
After a shower
Meaning seeing naturally

How much I miss that
I do miss you so much
The wonderful feeling
Of having you to touch

I feel like I’ve missed you
For so long
Even while
You’re here

I’m like the water
And envy how
Lovecraftian
You are

You can be beautiful
In any outfit
Trendsetter in
Grey sweaters

Appear anyplace
In my mind

Any time

Melting in Their Hands

Melting in Their Hands

This is a small short story based on Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness. Rather more whimsical of a take on it. Could use some expansion.

Interstate 15 Out of Victorville

Interstate 15 Out Of Victorville

A mirage in the mountains
Some distant horizon
A group of clouds

Made another mountain, tall,
Leaving a hole, the sky,
As a sundown colored lake
At its base

Prop Model

Prop Model

Settlements or colonies
Past the mountain ravine
In plains and meadows
Of rolling hills
Like French countryside
Homesteads
And windmills

Scarcely a tree
Or running river
Or life visibly
Walking in the country

Docile

Gliding through the plains
In a behemoth
Of a zeppelin

An airship’s
Droning buzz of propellers
A giant rolling in
The cloudless current skies

From the canyon towns
Perched in the walls
Of the grand ravine
Who’s bars and boardwalks
Were so lively

Props of an airship pass...

Hijabi

Hijabi

Energy drinks and cigarettes
Are the things that
Make your body tick

No matter how bitter
Or bad
Or strange

No matter
Malignant
In your veins

We’ve all got our engines
Different chemicals
We get our fuel from

Nicotine and taurine
Monsters and Malboro
Coursing through quite thoroughly

In pipes of arteries
Spreading through
And gripping tight
Like roots of your tree

The Bassist

The Bassist

Straight edge
Union Jack scarf
Boots
Army backpack

The long hair
The loud mouth

Abstract assumptions

This Machine

This Machine

A shadow follows me
Other-dimensionally
A power fantasy
Trapped in this machine

How it changes me
An insurmounability
Don’t know how long its waited
As the conscious watches

Opportunity waiting
An incorporeal fire
Looking from a cage
Staring at the sky

Never been without control
Never broken free
A showstopper illusion
Only in allusion

An assumed identity
It’s a doom inside of me

It’s all down to the wire
Looking through bloodshot eyes
Don’t know how long its waited
As the ego wa...

Chroma Snow Blossom

Chroma Snow Blossom

A snowbound mountain
Painted on a canvas
Of white trees and
Indigo ice
Against
Zodiac pyrites

Deep dream
Chromashifting

Down the slopes
Black rocks
And white snow with
Waves of
Staining color
Rushing down

Mountain
Colorsufing

Like how debasers tailor
Snowflake cells
Distorting them
Metamorphosis
Blossom in this
Snow pollen’s fell

Snowflake’s
Feathery wings

The marring blossom
Colors infecting
In orange and blue
And pink and green
Arms of ice
In symmetry

Deep dream
Chromash...

Kakao

Kakao

A pip
A charred taste of baking
Chocolate

Hard
Bitter and crunchy

An unimitatable
Kind of purity
In a bar
