Scarcely a tree
Or running river
Or life visibly
Walking in the country

Docile

Gliding through the plains
In a behemoth
Of a zeppelin

An airship’s
Droning buzz of propellers
A giant rolling in
The cloudless current skies

From the canyon towns
Perched in the walls
Of the grand ravine
Who’s bars and boardwalks
Were so lively
