Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Novel GOOD OMENS Set To Become a Mini-TV Series in 2018!
Amazon Studios recently announced that a six-part adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s novel “GOOD OMENS” will debut in 2018.
Neil Gaiman adapted all six episodes of the series and will also serve as the show-runner.
The show is set in 2018 on the brink of an apocalypse as humanity prepares for a final judgment. But follies ensue — Aziraphale, a somewhat fussy angel, and Crowley, a demon aren’t enthusiastic about the end of the world, and can’t seem to find the Antichrist.
“Almost 30 years ago, Terry Pratchett and I wrote the funniest novel we could about the end of the world, populated with angels and demons…” Gaiman said. “Three decades later, it’s going to make it to the screen. I can’t think of anyone we’d rather make it with than BBC Studios, and I just wish Sir Terry were alive to see it.”

Book Designer Chip Kidd Discusses Designing Haruki Murakami’s Absolutely on Music
Chip Kidd recently did a quick interview with Susanna Baird for SPINE Magazine. You can tell she really had an interest in the subject because her questions were very insightful and thought provoking. The main focus was Haruki Murakami’s latest book titled, “Absolutely on Music: Conversations with Seiji Ozawa” (Knopf). The cover, and the book itself, were designed by Chip Kidd (cover shown up above).
Then, they sort of delve into Chip’s career and new projects coming out soon like Gengoroh Tagame’s new graphic novel, My Brother’s Husband (Pantheon); Batman: Black and White sketch covers book to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund; and in the fall, Chip Kidd Book Two: 2007-2017 (Rizzoli, with introductions by Haruki Murakami, Neil Gaiman and Orhan Pamuk).
Here’s a LINK, check it out! Thanks Susanna and SPINE MAGAZINE!
